The price is steep but with only 2000 bottles made, I took a chance and pre-ordered 2 bottles before review. Pumped that I did as all of your 5 agave reviews have been on point. Can’t wait. Thanks Mark. Great review!

@@ripmurdock232 That's up to the retailer. At $699.99 a bottle I don't see people buying more than a couple of bottles at a time. Those that know.. will buy it. Those that don't know.. will think it's too expensive which is great for those that know.. 😎👍

The price is absolutely ridiculous, no matter how you spin it! Barrel finishes are no big deal. At least make it cask strength, not a putrid typical, weak 40% abv.

Even for connoisseurs 700$ for a 7 years aged it’s an extremely ridiculous price. The brand it’s not even worldwide know by many. Fir that price you can get more bottles of extra añejos probably better. Nowadays brands claim “limited editions” just to pump prices targeting American market just like clase azul did.

@Jose C completely agree! And to say it's a connoisseurs bottle, sorry, but wtf is that!! I've been collecting spirits, mainly bourbon/scotch for almost 20 years so I've been through the whisky explosion, and all the price hikes, to justify the price of this by calling it a connoisseurs bottle is ridiculous. Let's call it what it is, way over priced! I'm not knocking the contents as I'm sure it's a solid tequila, but let's be honest here.

@@xfortysd40Let's agree to disagree. Connoisseurs who appreciate a well made and perfectly aged tequila will understand the time and energy that went into making this tequila. There has been bottles selling for way more than this and this is one of the few that is actually worth it.

@@josec6043 This brand is known worldwide. It's considered one of the best brands available today by many who know tequila. If you haven't had the 1, 2 or 3 tequilas you need to try them and the regular Diablito is one of the best Extra anejos on the market.

Add Tequila Amatitense “full proof”, for lack of a better term, reposado to your list. I got a store pick from skips liquor in New Braunfels TX and can’t find it anywhere else. Spread the word and help this brand grow!!

Nice review but agree to disagree on the price. I get it about the aging but unfortunately prices on tequila are taking the bourbon path for American market. You said you were happy they are getting their money instead of secondary market. So you are saying US collectors and enthusiasts have to pay this prices because secondary market?? I don’t agree with that. There have been better tequilas for much less price. You will agree with prices because its your business can’t say the contrary because will be shooting your own foot. So for me that reviews its not being completely honest for us consumers.
