Diablo 2 Soundtrack (Leoric) 

Both games were amazing in their own ways, Diablo one had the creepier atmosphere and Diablo 2 had an amazing loot and class system. Diablo one's plot was more foreboding while Diablo 2's plot was more ambitious, as I said, both games are legends, lets respect that. Diablo 1 and 2 for all time!

Awesome track...easily the best and most atmospheric in D2...hope it carries over to D3

It's from Diablo 2's sanctuary where Diablo hangs around. It also seems to be Diablo 1's intro music.

You can just imagine the torment and agony with every sway of Diablo's tail by the souls he personally damned and has kept suffering for untold ages, as he rises from his hidden sanctum to do inhuman battle.

This was used for the Hell levels, right? I hated hell because of the music. It gives you the feeling that there's never time to stop and sit in some corner to heal or regenerate because there was always something, that was hell(haha)bent on killing you.
