@@victorsoto4821 they did it in d2 legacy and did it again in d2r. where they could have penalized solo p8 with 50% exp, and granted 8/8 full parties exp gains of 450%, it remained that solo p8 play was still and always will be the superior % gain, aside from champ hopping 2/8 or 3/8 incredibly fast. blizzard has never been good encouraging co-op play in the diablo series it appears.
same, I wanted 2 maybe 3 things. 1. Give all participants in the pit the mats, beyond stupid to make grouping punitive. 2. Increase Angelbreath drop rate. 3. Fix tempering, its so deflating after you brick multiple 2 and 3 GA items and things start to become pointless
I thinks the real problem about Pulverize is Over Power Proc requirement. It's a little too much when facing bosses, it's felt good on normal mob but once you hit boss, you'll be like doing big Damage every 10 secs now ? Pulverize need lower Over Power Proc or Over Power should be adjust again after the unjustified nerf from early Season. I hope we will see Over Power rework coming soon.
I wish this game wasn't so focused on extreme single target boss dps. If your build doesn't have it you'll be hard stuck on bosses. You're heavily incentivized playing a build like that because you get a spark from Lilith and pit bosses are bizarre damage sponges and have one shot mechanics. There are so many cool builds I want to try like Wiz Meteor and Necro Infimist but their single target boss dps is abyssmal so it's unplayable. Maybe if we got a find group system where you could tailor groups where some do aoe dmg and some are boss killers. But who knows when thats coming.
I seen some people mention maybe shred rabies build now that the unsatiated and the rabies damaged itself both got buffed, I don't know about that for sure, but I gave up on my dread, tornadoes are boring, I'm leveling a barbarian and I'm going to see if I can kill Lilith if I get lucky with drops
Yeah on my home-brew Incinerate build, Lilith was super tanky. With the 30% HP cut and the damage buffs, I'd imagine that my Incinerate build could now finally finish the seasonal journey.
This patch definitely will help. I'm playing a fire sorc and a blizzard sorc and I start struggling around Pit 35. My twitch-reaction skills are almost non-existent at my age.
Same here. I walk right through the pit until I get to the boss. And I struggle with the boss fights, but as far as clearing elite mobs. And trash mobs, I smash them no problem.
@Guyver2099 Yeah, I didn't want to do the cheesy immortal Fire shield build. I enjoy playing ice. I've been ice from the start. I'm sure I could tweak a few things and grab that shield. Reduce my cool Downs and have that up all the time. But I feel like it's kinda cheesy and it sucks the only option we have as the end game Pit pushing build.
Farm dungeons to max out your paragon board points before you push pit. Trust me, once you farm out the Paragon levels the pit is way easier to push. I was also stuck around 35 but now I'm at around 70.
D4 seems to be competitive on Pit pushing. There's a leaderboard system in-game, right? People seem to enjoy trading. There's an auction house, right? People like to socialize and group for content. There's a good in-game communication system or LFG, right? People want competitive integrity and for top tier players not to just be the credit card players. There's a Solo Self-Found mode, right? Bricking items is a very complained about aspect of the game. Tempering has a lot of changes for balancing to feel good incoming, right? Just venting a bit to maybe spark some discussion on core aspects of the game that I think need improved.
@@dainfarley9057 The end game is about getting max GA items and rolling them perfectly in tempering and masterworking. In hardcore (only mode I play), a perfect item is roughly 2 billion+ gold. It can brick and likely will so you'll need multiples of them to roll. If you played often just farming gold, it's still not possible to have a BiS set even by the season end... Unless you have a nice credit card. : )
@Cewade9999 im still confused i get that the perfect GA item is inflated to like 2billion gold. But is there a way to convert credit card to gold or something? If someone is paying2w on a seasonal hardcore character on a brickable item then they actually need help. Atleast with the people that buy cosmetics it lasts season to season till they swap games. Also game economics is just filled with people over inflating items as if they found the holy grail.
@@lildaiki7629 Unfortunately you can turn real life money into D4 gold, items, or services (boosting, farming, bossing, account piloting) through Discords and websites. I think things like this really damage the competitive integrity, but there's no real leaderboard anyways...
I've been brewing a WW DD build since start, it's been pretty fun though the Double Swing has been better for damage over all. Nice to see WW get some love.
I want sorcerer to be playable. The fact that infinite flame shield lottery gear build is the only competitive build, is sad. We need more enchantment slots, and we need to be able to use wand, focus, and staff all at the same time.
Buff of andariel drops on enemies and also can be procced by dmg over time poisen is big huge buff. I’m happy to try my Andy’s with andariel build. Can’t wait to shredder them
Sorc has the highest clear in the pit. Frozen orb is an awesome build for all parts of the game. Agree with the barb tho. It seems like blizzard loves buffing the streamers favorite classes

Some classes need extra weapon slots like sorc and druid gives a 2h slot and 2 1h slots like the Rogue Barbs weapon slots it what makes it a powerhouse every season no matter what they nerf
They can fix sorceress by reworking sorceress paragon board, give sorceress 1 or 2 extra enchantment slots and extra ring slots , it's a sorceress so should be able to wear more jewelry items. It's ridiculous barb gets 4 weapons , that's 4 aspects and two of than two handed weapons so that's massive improve to aspects. So until they balance that barb will always be top class every season. Druid needs help too maybe they can add a belt attachment to put aspects and make druids back throphys able to put aspects on it. This would balance them out somewhat
MASSIVE ISSUE with Sorc. You need mandatory spells for every spec / enhanced glyphs. It's bullshit, I have to ALWAYS run double armor and teleport no matter what.
Druid is in just as bad shape as Sorcs, forced I to using Shepherds and killing 3 skill bar slots. Plus this patch they fixed Necro/Sorc barriers to be based on Max health instead of base but Druids Bulwark still stuck on base health like wtf?
My first two play throughs i played barb i got 1 to 100 other to 80 i wasnt having fun i switch to druid like 3-4 days ago my 75 druid is stronger than my barb idk what i did wrong with my barb or idk if its the patch druid puts in mad work its so fun

Yes, As long as you update your game all of the paragons, skills, aspects text and numbers will be updated. So if an attack did in-between 15-20% damage and let's say you had a 18% roll on that, when u log in after update and it's changed to 30-40% your items roll will now be 38% 🙌🏽
hey DM,gotta ask-is D4 just nerfed to the ground or not? just stomped thru game(1st lilith,lvl 52)with Barb WW dust build with not single heal used,no death. Played same game @ launch feels like 20 times easier. Is it just Barb or it's every class like this now?
To anyone struggling with there sorc builds, send that gear to your rogue and get that's crit dmg from the marksman affixes, I run a ice spike build with over 3k crit dmg with 60% crit chance and I can drop everything up to pit135, my gear isn't even master worked to lvl 6 yet so iv still alot to do to hit even higher. Cons is am very squishy can be 1 shot sometimes.
Sorceress needs more than that to compete with the top class barb that has been top every season. Sorceress needs a entire paragon board rework. Even if sorceress gets extra enchantment slot just one it still won't fix its damage issue and survivability. Only 2 ways sorceress is able to compete and that's with glitches like the shatter + DoT glitch or the same b.s. load out with perfect gear 85% of players won't be able to get and try to get perma flame shield so they can focus on offensive nodes instead. The fact every sorceress build requires using the exact same enchantment " firebolt " dame skills teleport, flame shield , ice armor , it's ridiculous needs all defensive skills active and one offense skill either frozen orb, or meteor or chain lightning. It's dumb that u need all defensive skills to survive end game content. Sorceress visually has best skills but that's all it's got. No one even uses the fireball build for any end game content because sorceress damage is garbage. And these tormented bosses with trillions of HP with 1 shot kill mechanics that happen to often covers most of the screen is not just difficult it's stupid, these 1 shot mechanics shouldn't have that much range specifically if it's often
It’s crap… bc most die-hard sorc players like myself constantly have armour on and generating automatically…. What sort really needs is damage buffs for the skills… Sorc never gets any love…Why is it always barbs? Barbs destroy higher tiered bosses in a matter of seconds while sorcs need minutes…wtf?

Because I've spent World of Warcraft release time into this season on Sorc for the BiS everything.. well besides that .00000001 drop item but anyways I see Barbs with half the work put into their builds get further than me. I'm just sick of them making sorc a shitty set up class, being forced to use mandatory spells on every spec just to survive that don't even have synergy with the build is bullshit. And for what? Good AoE clears but can get one shot by Shadow bosses at pit 61+. Now you have to give up damage for HP to try and live one hit, but now the damage is trash.
I was confused at first. This isn't active now, it's not active until June 17th. I do think top down ARPGs should be built so ANY build is viable for all content. Grim Dawn did it, IMO. They did it through just having so many items/affixes that you could eventually find perfect ones for any skill/class combo. I don't like "meta" builds, build tier lists, etc. They are signs that the game design itself isn't finished yet.
time to see if the pet fix for counting as a minion also fixed the new pet from being an unkillable friend in battle as a Barb. I was like wow this helltide boss guy is not doing any damage ... OH he is attacking my dog lol
It's almost like nobody plays the druid to understand why it fails in so many aspects. Pulverize is still gonna suck against bossing haha. The druid as a whole requires lots of buff management for their builds to excell, where it seems like other classes are more press and play
Maybe I'm not seeing it, but how do the pets increase the HB damage? It procs on enemy kills. It just seems like it will do less dps across the board. Maybe someone knows the formula underneath.
‘Wanna fix builds that arent working optimally’ - Rend being in a terrible state - The only rend specific change in the patch notes is blizz making slaking aspect work for all core skills. Errrr cool buff to rend I guess?
well as a melee druid I'm frickin pissed. very subpar damage below average defense can use dire wolf, it's worthless can't use andaroels visage for melee, because we have the worst dage multipliers only wind shear is viable.
@@SpaGzzz Druids are still tied to companions taking up 3 ability slots. All the earth skill buffs won’t be enough as they don’t scale with the thunderstruck legendary as that remains uncapped. Earthen devastation is capped so the scaling is way below any storm skills.
@@bls4650 I am fairly certain they gutted overpower which is what pulverize needed to be strong so I doubt these buffs will be much outside of overworld content...
@@bls4650 Going into season 4 I believe they gutted overpower to "fix" HOTA and in turn really hurt the pulverize build. The scaling that overpower had is not there anymore so I dont think 75% base will be enough to counter all the loss of multiplicitive damage overpower had.
"Caught a stray bullet as a buff" ...a very apt way of describing the "buffs" to the sorcs as compared to the barbs. The roids chuggers got even more juiced

I hate that SHIT, because Blizzard sees that asshole at Number 1 and thinks Sorc is broken when in reality the only way to get to that power is to invest your time and hire somebody to play on your account to farm that .0000000001 Item and perfect rolls on all the gear. That is beyond fucked up, one of those items I believe has only been dropped like 5 times in the world.

There needs to be some kind of fail-save for masterworking. I farmed mats (Pit) and Gold for 2 days, then I tried to upgrade stuff. I failed every attempt, completely wasting 2 full days of playtime. I realized im stupid for playing the game and wasting my time - I quit.
Did you notice that some of the minor demons and like lower level wolves, skeleton, ghouls, etc, have been attacking the pet. It doesn't seem to hurt it, but at least it's not attacking you. 🤣
This is such a Blizzard patch. Addresses zero fundamental issue whatsoever. Now people are going to say "wait till next season". HOW MANY FUCKING SEASONS DOES IT TAKE?!
Some specs cant do pit 60 decked out?? Im running a blizz sorc with just leggos and no uniques and she comfortably doing 60s. Maybe imma respec to some dog shat spec qnd see if its really that rough. I mean you can craft a shako and thats 20% damage reduction right there.
They are nerfing the pit up to pit 60 which is builshit because pit 61+ is when Lilith is a Shadow Boss and can one hit you. I hate that crap, put 61+ is the worse lazy game design.
As Sorcs, we begged and they gave us, a few percent here and there, oh and for some skills we even got buffed by 10%, so great of them and I'm very thankful. Beggars can't be chooser, ya know.
xD you read the sorc changes like if sorc is getting anything. the notes for sorc could have been a bit less dmg and we buffed pointless shit which no one uses. the buff als all for build which cape out at around pit level 30-40
There’s something we must be missing, they have the data of the pits ranking the most powerful builds, in which the majority of the top builds are barbs and necros. Why would they ignore that and keep buffing barbs? Their internal team must have built a damn powerful sorcerer to get this shit update.
