DIABLO 4 Lilith Releases Mephisto Cinematic 4K 

I really admire the voice actress of Lilith. She did a fantastic job.

i really love how lilith's eyes are so human, the way they move while she glance at things in front of her, reminds me of a very scary boss with very sharp mind at work

Imagine how much better this story would have been if the writing of D3 didn't set Lilith up to be a stereotypical evil. She pretended to love inarius but all she wanted was to have puppets of her own. Before d3, her ambitions were vague, and it could just as well been that she genuinely liked Inarius and wanted a world to escape the eternal conflict the same as Inarius, while still being the daughter of hatred with the negative sides that might bring along. That would have made this shallow story much better than their "reunion" being an anticlimactic dialogue with inarius dying in the end. Inarius being imprisoned by her father, him being fuck all angry at both heaven and hell when he figures out heaven let him be taken, realizing he was misled by heaven into hating lilith and their children etc etc.. so Lilith and Inarius set aside their differences with now powerful children in order to burn down both heaven and hell. That way we might have kept a legendary rathma instead of him being killed off just for a key in a mediocre cutscene, but the f-tier writers at blizzard apparently think "someone important died, that means this has impact". Nevermind the fact that now "death" doesn't really mean anything as everything we thought we killed or banished can be brought back. Inarius? Turned into goop but technically just banished as the greater evils were.

The music, the fantastic design of Lilith, the looming shadow she casts, just awesome

Yea, lillith didn't "release" mephisto in this scene she enters the hell gate and "senses" her father. Maybe if somebody payed attention to the story ( cough cough modern diablo fans) you would not be confused on what the cutscenes are telling you

Lilith is a masterpiece of character, and the final result is speechless. Elias too is a magnificent combination, and both the voice actors realized perfection. Deep, charismatic and intriguing. I would have liked blizzard to allow a choice, if to imprison mephisto or to allow lilith ascendancy, given the church of light uselessness. Personally, Lilith is right, and is a character that should certainly take the lead in the diablo franchise.

Didn't expect much from m the game... But being that much of a better Kerrigan is impressive

Lets put it another way. As one of the great evils he's on an entirely different level... and even he is afraid of his own daughter.

They should’ve had Lilith win and taken Mephisto’s essence. The 3 prime evils story arc is played out and boring after Diablo 1-3. Way more interesting if the narrative moved into new uncharted territory with Uber Lilith and a presumably ruined post D3 heaven.

Elias is the best character conceptually, design-wise and story-wise. The opening cinematic featuring him was what "sold" us Diablo 4. He deserves much more than his untimely death. His skills/spells were so underwhelming, it was way too easy beating him. His immortality secret should *NOT* have been discovered in Diablo 4. He should have vanished in dusts upon losing that final fight only to re-appear in epilogue to scheme a new unholy cosmic / inter-dimensional war on resurrecting villains/antagonists from the previous Diablo universe (ie: manipulating the time-space continuum). Blizzard could have done so much with his character. What a shame. What a loss.
