For everyone having Fury issues: Sorry if this is long but I've been doing the math for it. [Crown of Lucion] makes DB cost 200 Fury per cast. This not only gives you 100% Crit with [Ring of Red Furor], but [Banished Lord's Talisman] also makes every 2nd cast of DB an Overpower. So you need to be generating 200 Fury per cast. 7/3 [Invigorating Fury] is the breakpoint you want to hit because that puts you at 21% heal per 100 Fury and DB costs 200, so you're healing 42% per cast. The [Starlight Aspect] works every 20% healing increment (20/40/60/80), so at 42% healing per DB you're generating 80 Fury per DB before bonuses. This is solved by using a combination of Bonus Resource generation and Bonus Healing. A bonus 43% to [All Healing] stat makes you heal 60% HP per DB; This makes us generate 120 Fury per DB. You then need to hit 67% on your [Fury Generation] stat to get it up to 200 Fury per DB. But how do we get 67% [Fury Generation]? Well [Rallying Cry] gives you a flat +58% [Fury Generation], then [Yen's Blessing] boots also have Resource Generation, and you can also roll for Resource Generation on your ring temper. [Rallying Cry] lasts for 7.4sec with 3/3 [Booming Voice] and [Yen's Blessing] has an 8 second cooldown. To solve for this, I simply use a single bash during the 0.6 second downtime to get my fury back up to start spamming DB again. But you can also try getting bonus ranks to [Booming Voice] to make [Rallying Cry] last at least 8 seconds. If you can somehow manage to hit 67% [Fury Generation] without [Rallying Cry], that is when the build becomes truly unlimited DB spam. You can do this by stacking HoTA to 10 stacks for fury generation, but then you'd have to be hitting HoTA every 5 seconds to keep the stacks up. But you will have about a 50% uptime on the HoTA dmg buff. Personally I prefer to just hit a single [Bash] whenever [Rallying Cry] falls off and then get right back to spamming DB. All of this assumes you are at 7/3 (21%) [Invigorating Fury]. If SOMEHOW you are able to reach 10/3 [Invigorating Fury] then you'll be at 60% Life healed per DB without any bonuses to [All Healing]. Here's a video showing my gear and stats and how I deal with losing Fury when [Rallying Cry] buff drops off. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lj5w7gtxWh0.html
To solve your fury issues, you need to get a ton more healing going. Ideally so much you can run crown of Lucius. Get some ranks to invigorating fury tempered on your gear instead of the concussion ranks, change over iron skin to the healing option. It will fix the fury issues and get your tank up a ton so those ground effects are less of an issue. You’ll almost never need lunging strike again, so the might aspect can be changed by aspect of the fortress. Lastly, think about adding accellerating aspect. It scales everything, the fury, the healing tank, and the damage.
I'm running a db overpower since start of season and I disagree on the iron skin, I am playing hota deathblow with crown of lucion and the 2 things that help me generate fury are the unique gloves enduring faith and the chest armor with ga healing received and +3 invigorating fury. I clear t7 horde but still lacking enough AOE to be worth it
You don't run iron skin because you want the unique boots to get Perma unstoppable and rallying cry has to be your only non ultimate non mobility cooldown
I forgot about the invigorating fury temper! I did use accelerating first but will my fury issues I was dumping my fury too much, I can see how that would work really well. I dont have the unique boots yet.
The one I set up, my fury doesn't even move. But I had to make sure I had enough max fury. I like using chains and Ancients Oath, I think it makes the AOE easier.
My upheaval made me a god around lvl 80 but I have stalled at 100 my friends are passing me up as lvl 70 sorcs. I’m going to try this build next thank you
I'm looking for a Barbarian build and this seems like the proper place to ask, considering the name. I've already watched a couple of your videos, but my problem is this: I don't like Flay, Rupture, Rend, Whirlwind, Dust Devils or Bash. And that's a problem cause that's like 80% of Barb builds. When I was playing Barb in Eternal Realm many months ago I was doing the "Kratos" Walking Arsenal build which I didn't love but was more fun than the others, but all that was even before the itemization changes. This Deathblow build for example, looks very similar to me to HOTA Barb from D3, slamming fast in front of you and causing an AoE, which is kinda monotone. "Then why play Barb if you don't like most of the builds?" cause the only other class I enjoy is Necro but I want a melee-focused class for variety. I don't do fast bois and Druid is...uh....Druid. I also don't like triple shout Barbs (having 3 of your skills be buffs is underwhelming). So, what is left?
Thanks for the comment! What's left...... frenzy? I have yet to try frenzy in season 5, but besides that upheaval, but it doesn't deal any damage :/ this is my frenzy build from season 4, if this doesn't look good then I'm not sure what else to try ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XGetB-7RflM.htmlsi=cUpNPIz09oh4LBkq
@@barb_or_bust nah don't worry about it, I was semi-venting in my comment cause I like the look of Barb but I can't find enjoyment in the playstyle. Honestly, Paladin is what is missing for me.
If you need to see min-maxxed gameplay, I have full build deathblow vids on my channel and infinite fury thanks to my setup (aim for atleast +5 invigorating fury on chest/pants with a GA healing roll, or +3 on both if u dont have GA healing)
Do you think Deathblow is stronger than your Upheaval build? I really wanted to play Upheaval this season but haven't seen many people playing it and I think I remember you mentioning your build needing 2 mythics to really get going, which I don't have yet.
Deathblow is definitely much stronger than Upheaval, make sure to get invigorating fury tempers to not have to use lunging strike! Look @YvesDaneels comment to make the build better!
With the third blade sword deathblow now uses fury and has no cooldown. No fury no deathblow. Ranks to invigorating fury is also needed that I don't show in the video fyi
Are your items masterworked? That's an important source of power that gets over looked. Other than that check the comments as ppl gave great explanations of how to optimize deathblow. Make sure you have ranks to invigorating fury!
@@barb_or_bust Hey! To some degree, but I'm trying to get the materials for masterwork in horde, but yeah getting slapped in t5. I didn't have this issue when I played WW or rupture. Have the invigo fury on also, not sure really, just still much lower and less tanky than other builds I put together. nevermind!
