@Rhykker something nobody ever really talks about with RU-vidrs is respect for their audience. Not only do you make great content, but I really enjoy your diction and excellent vocabulary. You are a pleasure to listen to.
I started the original campaign because I want to play the whole story with all the new systems and redesigns. Smashing with pulverize on normal and it's super fun. Don't care about endgame, meta, speed etc. It will be slow but slow gives more smashing opportunities :)
I’m the exact same, except I’m doing a earth / werebear build , do world bosses and hell tides spawn in normal , for me I haven’t got any of them to spawn or do I have to do the campaign ?
Honestly there is so much in the game, that it only takes a few minutes to get side tracked if you don't have goal in mind. You've been holding my hand through all seasons since d3. Thanks man
As coincidence will have it, Im setting up my LG 24GS95QE right now and this is the first video Im watching on it AND you are talking about these monitors lol Its so freakin immersive, 16:9 feels like Im trapped in a small box now, my life was a lie
Bro literally reminded me there's a class quest. Started up a new game on the spirit born and I'm like level 43 and don't even have my class quest done yet 🤣
Rhykker, thank you so much for the information. I have been playing Diablo since its inception. I love the game, especially D3. I was frustrated at the beginning of Vessel of Hatred due to all of the changes. Thank you for breaking things down into simple, easy to understand steps. You rock! My hero!
For the under city, what I found to help is basically aggro the time extending enemies and bring them to the blue attunement areas and activate the attunement and then Ult and kill em all at once basically. Do that for basically all the attunement areas and then go to next floor.
Right when you made your character (iirc, it's right around the time that you indicate if you want to play hard-core and when you choose your name), that's where the options are for where you want to start. It defaulted me to starting at Vessel as well. I had assumed that it was because I had completed the campaign but after reading your post, that might be the base default for everyone who owns Vessel. If you haven't played the base campaign, I would STRONGLY recommend doing that at least once. The main campaign was honestly a highlight of D4 and no story summary video is going to provide a thorough explanation of everything that happens.
I'm paragon 140 now and regret so much not seeing this guide during leveling. Recommending to all my Diablo friends! One thing I'd add is to finish the undercity quest line asap. Tributes will drop from other activities if you do! That quest has bugged on me initially and I skipped it for a very long time 🤦♂️
I noticed there are 2 spots now for world bosses at the same time. Tried it a few minutes ago, same boss though. Just fun seeing 2 spots simultaneously having a world boss.
Rhykker, always a pleasure watching your content - precise, articulate, and nuanced. I have a question which you addressed briiliantly last season, but it's surfacing again this season as we venture deep into fine tuning our gear through patient masterworking - which is the critical issue of draining iron chunks and rawhide along with it. Now, legions were our remedy till last season. I am not sure they are quite rewarding enough for the needful this season. Under the circumstances, how do you suggest we go about this/navigate this, to stockpile these mundane yet critical farming essentials.
Great video as always. One point which I feel could be improved is the season journey. You mentioned you don't need to do all of the items (eg, 10/12), that wasn't emphasised or shown graphically. That being said, love your content and your explanation. Keep up the great work (and maybe more lore vids)
re: ~15:50 - its true that you don't need to finish all the season hjourney quests in each of the chapters to progress to the spark at the end of the season journey, but note (and its not communicated anywhere in game that I can se) that there is a title set (this is a feature of every season) for those who manage to complete each and every single season quest. I didn't know this in the first few seasons, and so as soon I completed Ch8, got my new shiny things, I was done with the quests I didn't finish (or avoided), thinking why bother going out of my way to a few cellars or whatever... It would suck if by not having these titles, I will miss out on a rude title combo to proudly display,....
Whelp, now I've giving this a solid run I'll start listening to see what everyone has to say, I've been ignoring every one while journey-ing the new content and as a solo player I'm impressed, feels like a brand new game with all its mechanics but enough of that I'm gonna stick around and listen...
I think the line was meant to be, "You know those balistas that were one shotting people from off screen? Yeah, now they are one shotting me on my screen."
Very nice most of the nice stuff for solo player. I use Subo since beginning but I didn’t understand why I don’t see in the map but now I understand. Because I am always in coop party :(
Having a blast on hard, I've died three times, twice because I wasn't paying attention and once legitimately to the last boss of the "dark" stronghold, I still feel like it's mostly quantity of regular monsters I have to care about, but there have been moments where an elite does some "don't stand in the bad stuff" shenanigans and I move out of it just to be safe after having a glance at my HP.
From my experience, Rahir is a good defensive merc but DON'T choose the charge skill because he can (and will) knock your enemies out of the way of your attacks. Subo has some decent CC's and the best QoL feature from any of them. Barbarian lady is good for buffing your attack speed so if you are trying to hit a breakpoint for that (maybe minion necro?), she's your gal. Demon kid just likes to eat your resources (Rage, Spirit and things like that, not crafting resources) so he's a hard pass for anything that I could think of.
Thanks for all the useful info - now I realize how poorly I leveled up my Spiritborn (only level 32 so far)...I didn't even bother looking for the Season 6 quest NPC. lol =^-^=
I've actually been having an well okay I guess time in the new update, I'm more happy I decided to stay with a teleport build lightning cooldown build and it's been doing amazing damage even before the update just wish they changed possibly some passives for everyone
My pet peeve with ultra wide screens is that with a regular screen of the same width not only do I have that but also like 30% more height and on top of that they cost extra.
Well that depends, I went from 2x 27 inch LG ultragears to an single 34inch ultrawide, which is basically 2x 27 inch screens side by side, and use the 27 inches vertically either side of it for Web browsing and discord ect. Also I got the ultrawide for £500 it's an LG 34inch ultragear 950b IPS. The 27 inches cost me 350 each at the time.
Little warning for people who like cosmetics : Spiritborn is unable to use any of the previous Battlepass or Event outfits (even though they were listed as for all classes) So if you don't like the Spiritborn themed stuff or the current seasons one, you're out of luck
While I understand that this is mainly for people that purchased the expansion, having not purchased the expansion this season feels especially weak. The seasonal content, on its own, its terribly slow and limp. Also, while I understand that content will be locked behind the expansion, locking the mercenary system behind it seems punishing to those that did not upgrade.
Atleast by not buying the exp. you're not forced to play the campaign before farming the season and hey, it could be worse. It could be a Destiny expansion, where they sometimes lock you out of previous obtained content if you don't upgrade as it was "updated" for the new exp or something.
If this is your first time playing the Diablo 4, its actually best to stick with the normal difficulty and never change it at least until you hit 60 level. Since the game got a very considerable difficulty bump and some of the stuff are quite unbalanced for now, so you WILL lose your mind on some of the campaign bosses at Nahantu.
I did a stronghold. I got one bubble and half another. I tried one more stronghold, again, 1 and 1/2 bubble of xp. This whole get a level was a sad no go. I waited till level 40 to try one thinking it would pop me up good. All well.
“You know how almost everyone was complaining about getting one-shot by those ballistos from off screen? Yeah, they’re not off screen for me. But, they still one-shot me”
now if only blizz would fix the glaring issue of players beingrandomly locked out of not just the VoH content but spiritborn usage/creation as well, its been a big problem for the playerbase since launch yesterday and even tho they tossed out a hotfix last night its still a major issue that isnt solved
Why did they make Scroll of Restoration 1 use per item. Knowing my luck I'll still brick everything just spend twice to mats to do so. With how rare the scrolls are it feels a bit harsh not allowing multiple uses per item 😢
Ya know.... I don't think anyone else has noticed (unless I've missed something,) but if not.... They removed the exploding death animation from the fat zombies!! Am I the only one that noticed this?? I've not seen anyone else comment on it. That was a pleasant surprise
I know exactly what you mean. I'm still in the early stages of leveling myself, but I've seen too many videos already of how strong it actually is. Lol
@Rhykker How did you not tell the game devs that the new cap level on gear is gated behind the torment levels. It's like a brick wall of bullet spongy mobs.
Do I have to buy the expansion to enjoy Season 6? I played before s1 came out and I was heavily disappointed with the game, so I sort of don’t want to spend anymore money, but I think about trying again.
dlc campaign writing was pathetically bad but the mechanics are good, new class is so fun, progression is fun, the art is fantastic, more difficulty levels and some blessed increased monster density. D4s pretty good right now.
Ryker Kind of misleading telling people they can play on torment 1 and be as strong as everyone else. Let me clarify you can not max your glyphs on torment one but you can get them to the first rank. that is all
Not defending blizz, cuz this exp is shit. Especially the campaign storytelling. But this game can not be p2w. This thinking is absurd. There is no balance among classes. True. You can buy anything from third party site for money to get you stronger.
Honestly start on Hard mode, it isn't difficult and the extra XP and gold is worth it, with the new class you can one shot most groups of mobs and I have had a hard boss fight yet, even the butcher went down easy.
just gamble man..... i got like 4 uniques I needed for my build from curiosity-dudes, 2 of them Ancestral. Barting etc is a neat idea, but comes nowhere close to gambling with obols
Hey my man need your help lots of ppl are having sound issues making the game unplayable blizzard is not responding. Any way you can at them on x or something mabe they'll respond to you
