How do you control your character/attacks? All mouse or a hybrid of keyboard+mouse? I noticed your attacks are always directed towards your target, i see the cursor on your target while your engaged but are you clicking? I also didnt notice a single primary attack get canceled. That happens to me all the time im not sure what im doing wrong, but i will have to spam the space button before i can hold it down to try and get my primary attack going rapidly. Same when using primary attack+ vegance. Sometimes my attacks get canceled in the middle of a duel and my target will strafe out of my LOS and kill me.
Smoke Screen Playstyle is at least for me, the better one. More survive ablity in my opinion.Faster Swing during the Vithus buff, smoke screen, helmet fear ability... and so on... And its fun to sneak behind your enemies :-)
I was about to say the same,virthu's outclasses the build in the video by a mile. Plus you will get a lot more burst and buff your group with attack speed and give them smoke screen. Also the essence for the pants that gives you 50% crit for one sec after you exit smoke screen is insane for pvp. Main hand you also need essence with slow from MS it's so much better dealing with melees.
Grace playstyle is max range and the ability to zone off areas with RoV. I spent the most time on explaining grace because it's a non meta build. I've ran that build since the first season and it always drew a lot of attention. Most of the DHs on west coast run Grace because of me. Both builds are viable at the highest MMR. The burst comes from grace proc's and you just let your dots do your damage (2pc bonus) while you wait for the best time to engage. Both are fun to play :D
Hi. Stumbled to your channel last week, now am subbed. i have some questions hope u have time to answer them. 1st, i have echo, howlers, fervent, bloody, berserk & ca arsens. Running vith & shal, obviously i need Bottled & i also wanna get pebble (should i, what are thoughts?) Which gems should i drop, am thinking berserk & howlers or bloody? P193 Reso 750 only. Been DH since day 1 here in SEA Bloodraven server(was lucky to be part on an immortal clan for 6 weeks). TIA & more power to your channel mate!! 💪💪💪
Probably berseker's eye and howlers, possibly bloody reach if you're struggling with melee. Pebble is an okay gem, but if you plan to continue pushing your character, might want to swap to 2* or higher gems. Res plays a huge roll in PvP's power and DH are super sensitive to gear/res. What all ways can DH proc chip of the stone flesh? I have a 3 star and enough copies to get it to rank 4, but it would be replacing a rank 10 Berserkers eye with the awakened vengeance cool down. Would you suggest changing it out or is the extra 170 res not really worth it (I'm 1750 res now)
scatter mask helm, bombardment's toll shoulders, inescapable raptor pants, and knockback shot into a wall. Really only worth it for challenge rifts, awakening effects (only gem with attack speed) and the extra res.
Vithus, as that playstyle is most preferable by the majority. You also don't have to grind out two sets with decent magic affixes. I was the of the few to venture out and prove other builds/playstyles can indeed work.
I do not, but have faced a decent amount. The key with control demon hunter is chaining your CC off each other and frost trap is no different due to the arming and trap delay.
For a P2w it is easy for the set guides for an f2p it will be difficult to launch those builds even look for better options to yours just to survive the whales of today
true and there are plenty of f2p guides/builds out there. We discuss this on stream often and as a DH you really need to run a control build (which isnt very fun) as DH relies heavily on res/gear to be a true attack damage carry (ADC).
