@@avman2cl except in Oregon! 😂 and some other states, just thought I’d comment that cause I found out Oregon passed a law that made it impossible to sell cats unless you are the owner or a wholesaler
@@jaygatsby3007 anyone else sucks. Hard eggs. The blade keeps the dang thing straight. If you fuck up such a cut, you’re either fucked up, or a lazy POS.
@@joshbousche8669 nah he just didn’t cut through it the first time, leaving a small mitre groove. Not cut all the way, but maybe a half mm off that groove
The Bosch heavy duty metal blades are the best. I spent 40 bucks on a diamond cutting blade, got through 1 cut before it completely lost all its teeth, went and bought the 5 pack of the Bosch for like 25 bucks. Finished breaking down a trailer frame with just one of those blades, I still have them to this day and use them all the time. I still use the one that I used on the trailer
Im not completely sure my town didn't have the Diablo blades. But they are pretty much the same company, one owns the other, the one I tried was a diamond tipped Lenox blade I believe, I would have to look at it I still have the old blade somewhere
@Ban this youtube damn that’s awesome…these blades were made to make the job easy. Pretty affordable too which makes it really worth the money (in my opinion)
I’m guessing about 3 we use those at the job and once we had to demo large 6 and 8inch black iron pipe that had to be 1/4 or1/2 thick and it did about 6 of them before it was time effective to switch blades 😂😁
@@TheGreatWhiteHope-pb3qr that's why he's the foreman and not out there working with you still. He cant work but he sure can talk. Definitely talked his way into foreman if he cant use a sawzall 😂
Lube??? Should I take the I-beam to dinner and drinks first...maybe some foreplay??....or should I just "accidentally" knock on her back door and see if she answers??? 🤣😂🤣😂
@fatjeezussouthtexasoutdoor5244 dumbest reply every you can tell this kid never worked a hard day in his life let alone in a metal fabrication place lube is also a term for wd-40 or sometype of tap liquid to keep the blade cool while cutting or bit while tapping but you'd never know that
I had to cut a long exhaust box in 3 pieces, because it was thick steel for radiation shielding the box was 1” thick. It took 6 of those Diablo blades.
Diablo is definitely my go-to blades for pretty much anything whether it be abrasive cutting wheels for my grinder or saw blades for my circular saw personally I would have wanted to use a longer blade for this test but pretty much the only thing I can fault you on is not using some cutting fluid just spraying that fucker with WD-40 while you're doing that would help a lot
a lot of blades could probably do that. the insane thing about diablo blades is whatever black magic alloy they use holds an edge WAY longer. their blades tend to be thicker too. one of the few brands that lives up to the hype
the beam icon on all metal cutting blades has it. Diablo makes the best blades and has done so for decades. You could have over half the teeth missing and still cuts good.
Used this blade to cut a pillow block bearing outer shell in half. The blade was no good after, but the fact that it even survived that long was impressive.
Not gonna lie that is impressive. Have been using Irwin 12mm wood augers to drill timber house posts for the past 18 years and have recently swapped to Diablo 12mm wood augers and so far quite happy with them.
So are they really that good if your burning threw them and using multiple one cut? Those blades are not cheap so sounds like an ineffective expensive way to make 1 cut. At the point pull out the angle grinder with the right disks. You might even be able to do it with one if your cutting straight
I've been using Diablo blades lately. I don't know how they do it, but I haven't had to replace one yet. Been on for 4 months or so. Weekly use at least.
just got these at work, first blade cut through 2" brass shafts around 30 times, a few brass brackets, few hundred screws, and a 1 1/2 inch stainless shaft where it snapped in half, the second one did half a stainless shaft and still worked just as good, started cutting thin walled copper pipe 2 and 3 inch, cut like butter a few times then just stopped cutting, all the teeth were chipped. seems hit and miss but the stainless wasnt smart
I still would prefer my 7 inch grinder with a cutoff wheel. Tbh the baur 7 inch is pretty badass and you can get .045 disks for a 7 but not a 9. Sure 7 would fit on a 9 but the 7 is a lot more compact and less heavy. Just be careful not to bend those disks when cutting or they explode haha
These blades work very well. Diablo have released an AMPED range of metal cutting blades which are even better. Blades will last a lot longer if you use cutting oil and don't run the recip saw at full speed. A variable speed corded recip saw is the way to go. And yes, it is a H Beam rather than an I Beam. But that makes the demo even better because H Beams are usually stronger and harder to cut through.
They’re no joke, used the cutoff whew version and these and they worked very well for cutting up a old boiler that wouldn’t fit out the the room. Highly recommend
