Diablo Trilogy Cinematic Movie (1996 - 2017) 

Diablo2 is pretty scary but I very much agree there is a tonal shift. There is more story in the second HOWEVER more CHAOS 🔥in the first (making the pacing fast and unknown with no angels to guide you).

Nah Dora the Explorer is definitely darker than the atrocity that is Diablo 3.

From a lore perspective d3 is a buffet, that, I'm glad for. Drop rate is too abundant, runes are unacceptable, classes are great, I can't accept Cain dying to someone Adria considered lesser, ladder/seasonal play is better utilized, gold is too plenty, skills are too flashy but I think people have d2 on too high a pedestal sometimes. We're more overpowered because of the resurgence, edyrem are reawakening their power - there's a lore explanation at least. It's not "as dark" because it's been years since the darkening. Idk man, it's up to your tastes.

@@GawainSSB Yeah the story telling is so in the face. I personally liked the world 🌏when it was originally thought to have been ours -- because "Sanctuary" is not even well written enough. Best leave the world named "Sanctuary" omitted; and play on more well known Gothic horrors such as gargoyles and nymphs and shit gone demonic style. SLOWLY introduce new elements. Expand on what the world stone is LATER when you have enough story and reasoning. Added Note: I love the Goatmen mystery

When you play Diablo 1 online at the time of Diablo 1 you can't like the rest at all. That sadistic horror movie actually what is going on. You are fighting with the darkness for god sake. The atmosphere should be sadistic. Also at online you can't be a player killer in Diablo 2 and 3.. I mean come on...That was the point of the game. You can be betrayed or you can kill diablo together with friends. But you never know.

I am from the further future and the D2 is absolutely fantastic. They should remake D1.

I've heard that the butcher did make an appearance first in diablo I and then in diablo III again. But I've never played the first diablo so I don't know.. Just heard rumors

Thanks for the replies. They should have left it in. Many reason I liked Diablo 1 was the cinematics, but there were so few.

the monsters were more INSECT looking so I am indifferent to that (Hellfire). I Love Diablo 1 cinematics.

I've put 5 hours into hellfire in the last week or so and man...it has not aged well. I was planning on finishing it before d2 resurrected comes out but I don't think I can force myself through it

@@NPC-bs3pm You progress through the Cathedral. Just keep going down until you reach the final floor. I'm a level 13 Warrior and only have reached level 6 so i'm not close to having endgame gear. The gear I currently have was either received from doing the side quests (poisoned water supply, ogden's sign, arkaine's valor, etc.) or buying from Griswold in town.

D3 is like the best

D4is going back to the older Gothic style - darker than D3 and D2, if not as dark as the original.

@@russingram8101 wtf are you talking about. Look at Diablo 4 gameplay. Anime animations, mobile phone effects, and so on. D4 isn't a good old western, gothic horror ARPG, it looks like an Asian mobile phone game.

Diablo 1 is an RPG adventure involving a hero descending deep into the bowel of a desecrated church in search of the Demon (Diablo) to kill. @@GameMovieVault i never play d2. Try it but didnt like graphics. So was blow away with D2R and play closed and open beta. I do like the story of diablo universe.
