1:16 Diablo saying things like “oh, I do despise resorting to barbaric means such as brute force.” really goes far to explain why demons of the lineage of black and he in particular are considered odd to the other demons
In a sense, I believe the linage of black are demons mostly known for being more Sophisticated and rely on tactic. We saw that during his brawl with that wizard when first summoned. He played with his meals and torment over just brutal tactic.
I think that's more of the White demon lineage. It's said that Blanc was even more politically skilled and viscous than Black. The black lineage seems to care more about general entertainment, so they enjoy using tactics more as a game amd less as a means of destroying their enemies. White uses tactics to completely destroy you, Black uses them to have the most fun toying with you before they win@coconuttydragoon3445
Felt the same way, I thought it was overly linear when it came to the plot. Also, lacks a worthwhile villain. Violet is cool, but it’s not like she spearheaded the actual drama
like most no cinema movies, goblin slayer for example the movie was just a few episodes together and turned into a movie, the difference here is this movie is not cannon as far as I know while goblin slayer´s is.
Yeah, they have these spats every other century, or so. Although the ones who fight most often are usually Juane and Viole. Don’t think they ever explained why, just that they like to fight with each other.
@@aronvida-kun I mean they are technically from a POV the SAME PERSON (i.e Great Spirit of Darkness was forcibly split into 7 pieces by Veldanava, resulting into the 7 Primordial Demons)
Diablo strength is actually in his masterful use of his power. He is complete mastery over his own power and there aren't many people that can actually be Diablo. But Diablo doesn't want to become stronger because he likes to enjoy the fight and if he became stronger, there simply wouldn't be anyone that could beat him. Even guy crimson would have made if they were on the same level that he would probably lose to Diablo just because of how skilled he is at fighting and how massively he can wield his power
The way the entire tone and mood, both in dialog, lighting and music. It makes the transition seem so much more shocking. It almost feels alien, like these are beings far beyond humanity and even a minor skirmish like this is almost eldrich. It gives the feeling that they don't abide by the rules of the world. They do abide by the rules of the world, but it just feels so alien. It's such an excellent scene.
Well it wasn't a fight to begin with. In a way just a sibling quarrel, like it is even noticeable by their behavior. Also, depending on the opponent (and situation) Diablo is the type of guy who would actually limit or handicap himself to make the fight more fair and interesting. As a Demon, he still loves a good fight, to the point where he deliberately stopped his growth, because if he gets stronger the fights would be too bleak and easy xD
Always felt like Diablo was probably Rimuru's strongest recruit, strategically speaking. Second only to Veldora really at this point, Diablo's Ultimate Skill is absolutely insane and I love seeing him show off
Need to let everyone remember here. The only primordial that stood as Noir's equal was Rouge. Now both of those guys have names and are insanely more powerful then their counterparts.
@@boxlogogod4894 I was trying to imply Diablo was leaving the color intentionally instead of just leaving a black trail. Like he's able to choose the color of light trail he was wanting to leave behind. I understand my last message felt a bit vauge in that sense.
it is cannon the light novel is extremly to big, that much that they cant put anything in the actuall series. So they prefer to adapt side stories on ova and movies. But everything is wrriten be the original arthor, so all of this is indeed cannon
