To dial in your MAF training pace can be really challenging because of how quickly the HR can get out of control. When you are training with low heart rate methods, this can get very frustrating. Whether you are using MAF or Zone 2 heart rate training, the principle is going to be the same. You have to be patient enough to gradually expose yourself to increasing paces until your body locks into its perfect pace.
