This BC-348-R has been modified by a previous owner who took away the dial light potentiometer and connected the filament voltage direct to the lamps. I've fitted a wirewound 50 ohm potentiometer from the filament voltage to ground thru the lamps. They will go off from bright to dark before the potentiometer comes up to 50 ohm but it's nice anyway. Hopefully I'll get hold of the right type of knob later. The dynamo has also been exchanged ba a previous owner to a transformer connected to the wall outlet of 230VAC.
