I priced 2 trailers today and was shocked with prices. The Texas pride was about 10k for a 16ft goose neck, the Loadtrail was 17k for a 14ft bumper pull. I don't want to build one but might have too. This white trailer looks awesome. I want a red trailer but the South Texas heat will eat that paint up quickly.
Appreciate the comparison. I’m about an hour away from Texas pride factory and the trailer I’m interested in is 9500. 7x14 with 3’ sides. Insane on the price difference by state. But it’s been a while since the inventory issues so that could have played a part as well. Keep grindin brother!

I have a similar lpt210 in cement grey but with 44inch sides and 16feet. Had it almost a year, it dumps 8 yards of dg no problem. The stabilizer jacks are garbage, loading any equipment 10k plus folds them. It still looks brand new after a year of concrete demo and i can't complain about that. Will never own another trailer that doesnt have hydraulic jacks. Telescopic vs scissor has benefits and drawbacks.
Why does anyone live or buy anything in California? $30,000+ for a new dump trailer?!?! I bought a brand new 7x14 14,000 GVW Loat Trail dump trailer which is a really nice trailer for $11,000 1 year ago in Michigan. So he paid 3x for a similar trailer (granted he has a few nicer options and he has bigger axles). Doesn't he need a CDL for that since its a 1 ton truck and a trailer that's rated for 20,000lbs. I agree Diamond C is awesome and they have thought about a lot of stuff on that trailer. Best of luck man, I started my dump trailer and a truck dream just over a year ago and then because of this channel bought an MT-100 5 months ago.
@@duke902 in my 2 seconds of searching I found one a few miles away not the exact same one but it was $16,000 for a Diamond C with the higher sides. Didnt have the upgraded axles but still, that's half the price of California
My truck is rated for 12,000lbs and my trailer is 14,000lbs which puts me at 26,000lbs. Anything 26,001lbs and above is required to have a CDL. That's the law in Michigan and if I'm not mistaken most of the other states. Either way that awesome that he has his CDL that really opens up his potential to haul a lot of other things @@JamesMoVlogs
@cullencramer1 the 10k axel upgrade costs alot. Base price is 28k. Add in the extras like hydraulic jack and other upgrades, your at 33-35 easy. You can get the cheaper trailers in California too.
nope not worth double price. guy who bought it for a business is a poor business decision...best to start small and scale up. if had a successful business and extra tax break money to throw around, a diamond c trailer could make sense. for most other people, it's just too expensive.
The orange trailer today is probably 25k so for an extra 10k for double the trailer is actually a pretty good financial decision especially when starting a new company. He’s got a trailer he doesn’t have to worry about with zero down time for a long time..my door snapped of the hinge month into my owner ship.
Idk about your prices or texas pride but shopping around in NC, diamond c is double the price vs a manufacturer direct sales like kaufman. You can literally get 2 Kaufman vs 1 diamond c in terms of MSRP, but diamond c dealers will discount so maybe its a few thousand less from double. Nothing wrong with the kaufman quality…the diamond c trailers just have more features, polish, and maybe more heavy duty. Everything breaks depending on usage.

To each his own but I wouldn’t have the patience on those jacks just to dump. With that price I’d rather get a descent 4 wheeler with foldable sides to make it more versatile and more gvwr. Nice looking setup though
You are comparing a $28,000 trailer over maybe a $9,000 trailer. Covering up the manufacturer's names would be the way to compare "budget vs quality," showing the differences in materials and components. You are giving the false indication that Diamond C builds a better, beefier trailer than Texas Pride. Texas Pride can build a $28,000 trailer as well. You just so happened to compare that big boy with the budget build that ventures more toward a Manufacturer war in your title. 😁
A dump trailer is a tool to work with . Learn how to work on it and it will last a long time . Diamond c are overpriced and not worth the money . Stop hyping up brands that don't pay you . The point in having equipment is to pay it off and make a profit . Not to take long time to pay off . I can take the texas pride trailer and pay it off in 3 months . A diamond c will take longer . Stop being envious of someone you think has something better than you . Your friend has a depth hole to dig himself out of . Be happy with want you have and keep it moving .
