I have Texas Pride 14k 14’ and have hauled over 100 tons of road base and not one problem. Thank goodness we live in a country we still have the freedom to choose. Both trailers have the same options from the factory but personally I’d rather have the extra 1000K capacity and pay much less. Diamond C does make a beautiful trailer with their engineered steel I-beams. The extra Chanel beams across the front is not necessary but to each his own. I never condemn anyone for their choice of equipment and I know you don’t either. I tell people if you don’t like my equipment then give me the money to go buy what you like 😂.
I have a diamond C 6x12 I bought it a couple years ago when I started my company, I haven’t regretted buying it, I just need a big trailer like 7x14 with 10k axles and thicker gauge metal, goals for 2024
A couple things inside the box. The TP trailer flooring waved between the crossmembers, needed more crossmembers and thicker floor. Additionally the dC trailer has one piece from the top of the trailer wall to the center of the box, overlapping a couple inches. Most other trailers have two sheets butt welded in the center and at each wall. The dC trailer, the box sits down inside a bigger frame and has many cross members on the subframe,
Nice trailer! I like the tarp setup. Im from Canada, got me a 14' galvanized N&N trailer to deal with the salt and rust. It has the tires a bit further back like the diamond c, makes it nicer to tow, nicer to dump, but harder to distribute weight properly when towing heavier machinery. Mines telescoping too, lifts everything no hesitation, but very slow compared to a scissor... especially when hydraulics are cold. Always a tradeoff though with something as versitile as a dump trailer. Cheers man keep it up
Congrats on the new mule James! My diamond C has been through absolute hell and still looks pretty damn good. BTW, use the forward chainholders to hold your doors open, the one you have it in now is just to set the opening on the spreader gate. Cheers PS they did say they were going to offer the new tarp kit as a retrofit for older trailers.
Watching this , I wish I got the hydraulic jack , but 2 I can recommend that I do have is the tarp ratcheting system & the gate lock deals ( don’t know what there technically called ) great color & awesome upgrade !
With the Diamond C having a 3 ft side, it would have a heavier empty weight? Ergo if the Diamond C was a 2 ft side they could each carry the same amount of payload?
hahaha been down a hill here in la costa with my excavator on the rear ramps of a dump trailer :X.....took out the grill of a chevy silverado in front of me LOL
Glad you got the trailer from that guy, its a nice piece of equipment. You cant beat the ltp210. Why not just keep the texas pride? 2 dump trailers is nice to have. Also whats up with the pj goosneck
I honestly just need the money right now and can't haul both trailers to a job and I'm not in a place to buy a truck and send one of my guys to go get his cdl. And ill make a video on that beast tomorrow
Here's a tip: get a wireless microphone. When you get farther away from the camera, your voice gets quieter, making it harder to hear, especially iof there is any traffic, or other noises in the vicinity. Your camera operator's voice stays the same level, so its the distance
@@JamesMoVlogs it’s okay everything qualified the only thing that stopped me from getting is my age they said I was to young and didn’t have a big like payment history
