www.gannettridge.com An overview of the new Diamond Infinite Edge by Josh Soholt of Gannett Ridge Hunting Equipment. This bow is adjustabel from 5-70# of draw weight and from 13-30" of draw length. The bow for almost anyone!
Ditch the peep site, go to your nearest bow tuner, have them completely set it up for YOU, with better strings and cables. Upgrade them immediately. No tube peep site. Get a 6oz counterweight and dampener. I swear to you, if you do those things to this bow, it shoots like a $800 bow instead of a $300 bow. I did it and I'll probably never buy another bow again.... The infinite draw setting is amazing and great for bow fishing. Turns the bow into a "recurve", for lack of better words!
Just bought a infinite edge for my 9 year old son today! Shoots 22.5 pounds at 22.5" draw. It really spits an arrow for only being 22.5 pounds! Shoots with a release and at 15 yards he keeps 5 arrows inside a single spot target. GREAT bow. I recommend this bow to ANYONE!
Really appreciate the feedback! And the Brute X is a great bow. IBO on that one is 320 but that is with 29" and 70lbs. However, even at 50 lbs you should be shooting plenty fast for whitetail. One thing you can do is have it chrono'd at your local pro shop to find speed and then calculate kinetic energy. And you are right on, if you want to increase the weight/speed a bit just do equal turns on top and bottom limb bolts.
I love mine. It is light, quick and well designed. It's not a real expensive bow, but I have outshot some of the high end equipment with it. Would highly recommend this bow.
Wow!!! im so impressed with this bow. Im really considering getting it for my fiance cause she pretty small and this would be perfect for her. I shoot a bowtech so I can really trust the diamond. Awsome review!!!
It depends on if you want to shoot fixed or mechanical broad heads. G5 makes both a great fixed broad head, the Montec, and a mechanical, the T3's. There are a lot of great heads out on the market.
What would you recommend out of this bow the Diamond Infinite Edge Pro or the Diamond Core R.A.K. package for a beginner in compound bows that is 5ft 10in tall 210lbs and is late 20's. I know that a lot of people love the infinite edge for its adjustable aspects but I think that once I get my bow set I don't think I'll be adjusting it anymore besides maybe draw weight?
Awsome thak you for the info. What well do is go to the local bow shop test it and im sure shell love it. Thanx again. I will keep u posted on how it all works out
They are both great bows. If you can spend a little extra and don't need the huge amounts of adjustment go for the Core. It is an extremely light and straight shooting bow. Can't go wrong with that.
Hello, good evening, I'm beginner in this archery, I just bought a diamond infinite edge, but do not want to get injured, you can make a video showing how to lower the poundage? Thank you.
How does the Diamond Infinite Edge compare to Mission Craze in terms or quality of materials, fit and finish, etc. How is it for ease of shooting (smoothness of draw, hand shock etc.) compared to Craze. Thanks.
Hey Bryson, I would go for the Diamond Core. It is super light and shoots fast and quiet! You can actually order it right from us! Feel free to do it online or call in and order it and we can get it set up just for you!
Absolutely, it might take a couple weeks just because we need to have the time to get everything filmed and edited. What information do you need? Feel free to call any time and we can talk you through all of the features.
I bought this bow and I'm strugling a bit with it's stock settings. Now if I close the left eye and look at string, placement of arrow and those colored pins or sight , the pins are quite a lot toward left of the string while arrow holder is at center of the string. All my shots are going toward right and low. Should I just move the sight more toward right? Also all arrow fall quite dramaticly at close distance. Even if I aim at orange (lowest) pin (or what's it called), they're still falling below where I aim at, at 13 feet or so distance. Bow is set on 45 lbs. Tried moving peep sight a bit lower, didn't help. So Am wondering if I move sight with pins more toward right and raise it a bit, if that will fix it. Please don't send me to local shop to fix this, we have none around, so I need to fix this alone. :D But I don't want to start changing things all over the bow not knowing what I'm doing so I would really apreciate some advice.
doubleGi yes you should move your sight pins more to the right to get the proper alignment. as for the significant drop, your arrows may be on the heavier side, as well as your rest not being at a perfect 90 degrees.
Yes, the whole diamond line is made by Bowtech. Not stupid at all. A lot of the bow companies make a Pro Line series as well as a main line series so they can have a bow that fits anyone's age, experience, and budget.
So what makes a high-end $800-$1000 bow better than this one? I'm curious. I'm looking to get a new bow, I haven't shot in 20+ years so everything is new to me again and I'm relearning it all.
Octane 7 Inch Hunter is a good stabilizer, Any Tru - Fire release has good quality they are a dependable brand, and you do not need another sight unless you are very hard core if so I use a Trophy Ridge 5 - pin sight on mine don't know the exact model though
Hello I'm getting Bowtech - Diamond Infinite Edge Black Ops. It is same as Bowtech - Diamond Infinite Edge Infinity but it is only black clour. Are those BOWS ARE PSE (Precision Shoots)??? Can i make a PRECISION SHOOT? Thank you.
Appreciate the feedback! If you want you can order one for your fiance right off of our website! We can get a whole package set up for her. Draw weight, length, arrows, release, etc. You can call us or order is all online! Hope to hear from you soon!
Hey, I actually just double checked. Forgot that I do have the video for all that. Thought we had missed that one. I will try and get a video up by tomorrow for you!
can you please make a video on the Diamond Core. pleaseeeeeeeeeee haha i really want the core but i dont have enough information on it so please can you ?
This is a great bow, I have no regrets buying this one.. but there are a couple of niggles with the accessories.. My main dislike is the hostage rest, it will damage your fletching and throw off your aim unless you are capable of holding the bow rock solid, so change it out.. I have swapped mine out for a cheap Allen drop away rest and my accuracy is much improved and the fletches stay good .. The sight is fine , but take care not to crack the plastic ring around the pins, like I did.. A metal ring would have been better.. Set up took me a while, being new to archery, but there are lots of videos to help you on youtube.. and now I have mine sorted the bow shoots superbly.. it is very accurate and even set at 40lbs it makes the arrows really fly ...
I had one getting into bowhunting earlier this year, killed a deer with it, sold it, and bought myself a hoyt nitrum 34. Just be weary, you'll need a new string within 8 months! their strings are garbage. Good bow all around though!
Dombomb Tube sights probably add just a little noise but not enough that you would ever notice. Also, if you are not using a premium pre stretched string, it is nice to have a tube peep to avoid having your peep twist when you draw back.
The deal with tie ins and tubes is exactly this... Tie ins give you more of an area to look threw and tend to be more quite than a tube peep. Better for the hunter, sitting in the treestand. Tube Peeps usually have tiny holes and that makes for less to look threw... better for TARGET shooting. Plus, noise isn't a factor in target shooting. So my opinion is always that... If your strictly target shooting, get a tube peep site. If you want a "wider range" of ways to shoot, get a tie in.
Oh and also, tie ins can be of all sizes as well... mine is pretty small, tied in at an angle. It looks really good with my split blue/black strings. I'm deadly accurate with the setup, I wouldn't use anything else. Its honestly preference! Do what makes you feel comfortable. Peep Sites are cheap enough!
Definitely I got this bow when I was 12 ( I'm 16 now ) and I'm still using it and learning new things every time I shoot. In my opinion it is the best bang for buck bow on the market
I was told the string it comes with isn't the best, is this true? I think the bow is absolutely amazing and am buying one soon! :P (Only just starting archery and plan to do a bit of hunting!)
+RagegamR Mine were too... honestly. But I just paid about $150 for limbsavers, new VT strings and cables (blue), new cable slide, cable slide dampener, string silencers, set to my draw, nice peep site set for ME, kisser, etc... Man, it shoots like a $600 bow now, rather than a $300 bow! Its SO smooth and quite. Its super forgiving too! Helluva bow... now! Haha! Its seriously like night and day, that's all. You get the cams synced and add some things, along with it being dialed into YOU... It makes all the difference IMO
Start with low poundage. Maybe 30-40 lbs to get used to shooting the bow. A local shop and help you set it. Then with practice just move the poundage up as you get stronger in shooting.
No its not a left handed bow is a mirror of a right handed one the riser would be on the other side and the reason I asked some makers only make right hand models
Perry2186 I got one, and the manual state that it's design for left and right... hold both position since the grip is in the middle regardless of if the riser is open on the right.. it's an efficient design, your eyes tricked you. Still stubborn to believe me go to Hunter's friend and look it up, read it.
I was looking into getting this bow but upon reading the reviews, I see that some people are having problems with breaking and twisting. Knowing that there are paid reviews on many products, I figured I would come here in hopes of finding opinions that are less influenced
I got this bow when I was 10 I had never used a bow before and I still use it to this day (I'm 12 now) I am so happy with it, never had any problems with it at all, You will love this bow and use it for a long time because it is so customizable with weight and draw length
No one on the corner has swagga like this bow.... If by swag you mean accessories, then yes, this bow comes with sight, rest, quiver, peep, and d-loop. It does not come with a stabilizer or arrows.
