Diana was right to complain. They humiliates everyone and they are not nice about it

I worked for the airlines for years, and I know the importance of stringent security measures, but I'm glad Diana Ross brought attention to this because IMO, the airport authorities have been out of control (mad with power) for far too long. I mean let's be real ... like what the hell did these people think Diana effing Ross was going to do?

As she said, "It is surprising that a woman can be searched in this manner out in public...this physical, hands-on is a lot". I'd like to think that security searches have been modified so that they aren't this invasive anymore.

I felt THEN and I feel NOW, Ms. Ross was SO CORRECT to complain and to be vocal about all this. She felt violated. She deserved the right to speak out

You can tell that she was really affected by this and she handled herself really well during this interview. The thing that she did towards the security guard was not bad at all, but she was frustrated by how they behaved towards her. I can fully understand Diana´s opinion about this situation.

Totally sympathize with you Diana! London and Amsterdam airports were the most invasive and rude in handling foregin women . I experienced the same in London in December 1999.

I work for one of the busiest airports in the world and everybody has to go through this. What she's describing is exactly what a pat down is. She complained about the same thing years later on Twitter at the New Orleans airport. She thinks the rules don't apply to her.
