Diana always has interesting interviews because you never know what side of her you will get. At times, she is serious, strictly business and other times very playful and somewhat flirtatious. Love Miss Ross

Diana Ross is Fabulous..that dress is BEAUTIFUL…Entertainer of the Century..I see why…she is Amazing…she is still singing to this day.. Happy 77th birthday…I just can’t get enough of her ..she is just beautiful, sexy and elegant ..Her sense of style is just glamorous..she just maintains her style…I can’t get enough of Ms Ross…
When I read the comments on here, I thought ya'll were being harsh about Oprah 🙈 Then I pressed play....... Well I take it back. You were all right 🤣 She was so annoying here! The interruptions were so disrespectful. On a positive note, I love the performance of 'He Lives In You' 🎶 One of my favourites 💚
I rank my favorite Diana on Oprah appearances in this order: 1. 2011 - Finale Appearance 2. 2000 - Supremes Appearance 3. 1993 - First Appearance 4. 1999 - Double Platinum Appearance The energy was weird during this 1999 interview from Oprah cutting her off during every answer to her defensiveness towards some of Diana's statements. It wasn't the same Oprah that showed reverence like all the other appearances.
Interesting observation. I’m not sure how to rank by 2011 is my favorite I’ve watched like 2,011 times lol. Maybe the first one next. Cause Rhonda was there. I love when she is with het children. I guess 2000 but it was sad at times. And yeah the energy is off on this one but Diana Ross looks beautiful as always. Now my issue is I’ve seen all of the interviews but for whatever reasons they are no where to be found today. They are great interviews Diana Ross gets very personal on Oprah. I felt like I got to really know more.
What I don’t like about Oprah is she’s one sided. She’s always putting Diana Ross on this pedestal. Mary and Florence were a very important part of this group. Which helped get her where she is today. Diana should never forget that.
I didn’t like the way Oprah interviewed her…. Especially talking about her appearance when she kept asking Diana “is it your genes…it must be in your genes.” That was offensive because she’s implying the only reason Diana maintained her beauty is because of her “genes”
Being complimented for your ‘good genes’ are a wonderful compliment - the opposite would be ‘your beauty isn’t down to good genes, you’re beautiful because of make-up, hair extensions and surgeries’. I’m surprised by your comment. I wish I could hear why you feel ‘good genes’ or ‘lucky genes’ is something you consider “offensive”.
Diana is wonderful here (as always). You can tell Oprah thinks very highly of Ross, but my goodness is Oprah a bad interviewer. Her friend Gayle is WORSE, they both interrupt, have no concept of listening to a story, ruin punchlines, talk over anecdotes, have no tempo and no rhythm - artless and annoying.
