Yeah, I want the next 5 years as well! I have only been watching for about 2 years, so I missed it all. Please don't wait 8 months to do them! Reading the comments I see there is a yearly kickstarter for Dice Tower? How come I had never heard of it before? You should advertise it at the end of reviews (I don't watch Breakfast where you probably DO announce it).
Please, please, please keep the series going. I love learning about how and when different people joined the show. You just gave a small intro to Jason but I would love to hear more about how he really came on board the show. Also, Melody has grown into such a lovely young woman and I would love to know more about when you decided to do Double Trouble (and I love the pow-pow she does at the end). I also want to mention that the relationship between Zee, Sam and you is the major force that got me interested and kept me watching the Dice Tower. I am still working my way back through your catalog. I like some of the other shows but anything with the 3 of you automatically goes on my watch right now list. There are several of your top 10s that I have re-watched several times. Your Top Ten games not to play with an angry person makes me laugh every time as does the newer version Rage inducing games. I love the top 10 tips for publishers - it's the rules people!!! Thank you for all that you do and please keep the history coming...at least until we get to this year's kickstarter and then maybe you can finish up the series with some of the ideas that you have for the future.
2013 was the year I joined and changed my life forever. It was that very Top 10 video that randomly showed up in my Top 10 RU-vid feed. I'll never know why I started to write down these games. Then I found one of them in a shop. It was Pandemic. Rest is history :-) Thx Tom!
Please complete this series. I always enjoy your reviews, but this is been my most enjoyed video series to date. I would be sad if you did not finish your story.

I’m really really enjoying this series, so please continue with the following years! And it’d then be awesome to look back each year and keep the series going :) I only discovered the dice tower a little over a year ago when I started discovering board game and you all have been a huge influence so this series has been incredibly enjoyable
Watched this all in one setting. I’m so appreciative of you and your podcast through the years. I actually started at episode 8ish way back when. Your podcasts have been so formative to my gaming life. I’ve bought games in the past just because you’ve said they were good. I’ve become more discerning in the last 15 years but I still have some games I got way back when I can play with my 6 kids now. This has been great getting to see some of the behind the scenes stuff to fill in the gaps of my knowledge over the years. I have to confess that I’ve migrated over to more table top rpgs and miniatures these days-but thanks to you ten years ago I bought every heroscape thing I could and even last week my 14 year old boys set it up and played a few games. Funny thing too is, that many times late at night I’ll have one of your reviews queued on my phone of a game I’d like to get to show to my wife for her approval and it usually work:) Thanks Tom for everything

I think I started watching the Dice Tower around 2013 and even if I have been a casual boardgamer since the mid 90th, it immediately hooked me and draw me much deeper into the hobby than I would have ever imagined before. Today we play games in my family nearly on a daily basis and have so much fun interacting with each other and with other people. It is super interesting to see how you and the DT have evolved and I am already waiting for the next episode.

Great series Tom! The Top 10 and Miami Dice are what got me hooked to this channel, I remember a few years ago when they were less usual to get very excited when I saw there was a new one, had to watch it right away.
Please don't stop, everyday is someone's first day of encountering The Dice Tower. And history is so important in this world right now, it adds a whole lot of context.
Hey, you can't tease us like that and say "maybe I should stop the series now, it's just another 5 years", are you kidding!! You've showed us again and again each episode how much change happened every year, 5 years=5 new episodes, come on now! Seriously this is a great series, perhaps you're underestimating the impact is has on people watching it, but let me tell you: getting to know you and everyone else on the show more is a big part of why I like your channel so much, because it's not just about games, it's about people too. Helping us to know you guys better makes us appreciate even more all the sweat and tears you put on to this, it helps spread the passion, it makes us closer to you. That's also a reason why I love the "Tom thinks" segments, because it makes this so much more personal. There are tons of people making videos nowadays, but many lack emotions. You guys are like singers who emotionally connect to the audience with their songs and how they sing. What makes you so successful is how you open up to us, we all feel humans when we watch. I also love that you try to have a good dose of humor, it's so important those days.

Not next week or the week after!!! I hope you get back to these when you find Time Tom. I imagine they take some time to prepare but they are great to watch. On a side note I came across the top 10 co-op games video the other week and watched it. I remember thinking you guys were a little more abrasive towards one another, and more critical of each others choices in that video but didn't realise it was the first one you did. I much prefer the dynamic you guys have now.
I really got into board games in 2015, after playing a deck builder my friend introduced me to. I remember playing Dominion with my brother years before, and decided to look it up on youtube and I stumbled upon a video on your channel, "Top 10 Games We Hate." Although I think Dominion was mentioned once, I found it to be hilarious and I still watch it from time to time for a chuckle. I subbed instantly after watching. Coincidentally, I stumbled upon Board Game Geek and well yeah.... :) I like to point out, I love the Top 10's, but I still get excited about watching Board Game Breakfast every Monday. One of my favorites for sure
Oh man, I remember that first 24hr marathon. Jason wasn't immediately accepted by the dice tower fans. He comes on a little too strong and there had been issues. But it appears he has relaxed a bit and and become more comfortable on camera. I also remember the first board game breakfast coming out. I always liked the idea, i dont watch every video on breakfast, but a good number of them.
More please! How about one episode each on the History of the Dice Tower from other contributors? Eric? Sam? Zee? Jason? Mandy? Suzanne? When they joined from their POV and their history since that time? Yes--to another 5 videos to catch us up to present day. Thanks for this series.
I must admit I was skeptical about the new Monday show back then (well, it was rough in the beginning). Now i can't imagine a week start without Breakfast video (which I watch in the evening :D).
Might be cool to do a yearly update now. At first I thought "bring it up to date!" but there may be things that are better in retrospect that you know how they turn out. How much different would 2013 have looked if you'd done the review in 2014? But it probably isn't as different as if you'd done it last year in 2017. Sometimes with history you NEED time in between to see it with more clarity.
Please go up to the present day Tom! You've got so much more to tell.....we've not yet got to you getting the studio, or Sam and Zee going full time. What about the other conventions becoming regular fixtures; particularly Essen and UKGE? You've also got when people like Suzanne and Mandi arrived..... please don't stop!
Hi Tom please make the 2014 through 2017. Then you can just make a video once a year from the previous year that could be added to the playlist. 2014 is the first year I started watching the dice tower, but did go back and watch a lot of the back videos that I could from 2012+ or so.
How on earth could you have done an entire year with a salary of $20k? Especially with that big of a family and with kickstarter taking 10% (2k)? Here's why Tabletop day is good. It's a day everyone can get behind, people you don't know that don't go to games and it's something you can tell your wife that comes up once a year. I don't / can't go out to play games very often, so this and our local convention Lexicon are the main sources of my gaming outside of my local group. I totally want the other 5 years too
