Forgotten 60s guitar wizz nice groove double bass Red Mitchell Stockholm pics. Rosmini was a real multi-talent: guitar/banjo player photographer pioneer in multitrack home recording. He is one of the most enigmatic and elusive guitarists I've ever run across. Dad had thousands of folk records but only one single track by Rosmini on a compilation that made a deep impression on me as a kid. I kept asking for more but dad never managed to get hold of anything. I've always wondered did he do more stuff that was this good?
From american folk & blues I've heard lots of good train songs but few that can rival the ferocious double beat and hard driving 12-string steel of Dick's 900. When watching this vid it's pretty clear to me that it's actually his 12-string that drives the train towards home, not its engines.
Please do take care if you stand on the rail as at 0:24 and stare in the view finder for the perfect view. I was nearly run down by a commuter train when taking that shot, and the driver signalled very aggressively at me. Pretty scary in afterthought, I must admit.

I too was captivated by this song on the Folk Song '65 album. Found it at a thrift store and have been eager to hear more of his music. So good x

Dick was my producer for 4 recording projects as well as one of my best friends. The 1953 C.F. Martin 12-string he used on this and all of his other 12-string recordings has been put up for sale by his widow. Anyone interested should contact me via RU-vid messaging. - Rick Ruskin

Tummar upp!
