Mark Knopfler Smooching (local hero) Michael Brecker 

For me it's the only tune where one musician has been able to make one with his guitar. "Smooching" is a real pure diamond... His sound is so bright and sweet...All is PERFECT... Fantastic, unique, epic. Mark showed here that he could be the better guitar player, composer, technician than any others ...that I love so much however ! But here...Mark touched the Stars...💝💎🍀⭐🌈🤩👍

Thanks, that's a lovely tribute to the film, Mark Knopfler & Michel Brecker. One of the best films & soundtracks ever. Smooching is my favourite version of the Local Hero riff.

@mschiquitita10 tja som mkt filmmusik är den ganska nedtonad och inte avsedd att sticka ut på samma sätt som huvudtemat, gissar många har svårt att höra ngn egentlig melodi här, men jag tycker den är gudomlig. Släktskapet med huvudtemat (aka wild theme) är mkt tydligt om man är inkörd på hela filmmusiken, och när jag lyssnar på de lite väntande slutfraserna känns det som det när som helst kan växla över i de trevande start-tonerna av huvudtemat, omg!
