The poor TARDIS; she's definitely not had a nice ride during NuWho. ~ Thrown out of a time wound by a paradox. ~ Had her heart ripped open by the Rift and Rose. ~ Been cannibalized by The Master into the Paradox Machine. ~ Thrown into a Z-nutreno core to be killed. ~ Used as a bomb to destroy the universe. ~ Had her soul ripped out and placed in a humanoid body. ~ (Even though it was deleted from the Timeline) Her heart was completely destroyed because of the scavenger's magnetron. ~ Had her interior destroyed by two regenerations. ~ The Flux. And I'm probably missing so much more but the poor old girl... I have no idea why The TARDIS is seemingly being used as a punching bag. To a few, they'd probably say "uhh, its just a machine" But she's a living being and an entire mini universe. And to be honest, I care more about The TARDIS's wellbeing over The Doctor and their companions.
@@angerydestroyer I'm fairly surprised she hasn't been cruel to The Doctor in someway considering 13 destroyed one of her last sisters when she used that spare TARDIS to trap Daleks. Maybe you're right though, maybe she has had enough.

@@TheHufflepuffSaint the TARDIS exists across all time and space. everything that has ever and will ever happen to her, she already knows about. if she didnt want it to happen, The Doctor would never have been able to enter her in the first place.

Oh damn I hadn't realized the connection thus far, I just thought that were randomly happening due to the events of the episodes, but seems something else is amiss!!!
To be fair, it's way more subtle than something like Susan Twist. In the first two instances, the TARDIS was already having a bad time (The Maestro taking control of it and Donna's spilt tea). And all three are so spaced out and weren't lingered on.
I’m thinking one of the reasons this is happening is because there’s now 2 of the same TARDIS since the Doctor bi-generated 🤷♀️ But then again, it was happening before then
@@cindytartt4048 i mean. I like this season so far. But i dont like the controversies its causing. They should of played it safe for a season then did the social justice stuff in the second season. This season no matter where you stand politically or on writing has divided fans more than ever. This was supposed to be a all ages show but it seems to be about pissing of sad old fans and appealing to sad new fans. Im not sure how i feel.
@@jplegend98 I can't remember who said it but someone said a thing that resonated with me, and that's that there is a problem with this season where every episode appears to be trying to break the mold of a normal Doctor Who episode without having set a mold first. If there was a season setting a standard then episodes like 73 yards would hit all the harder
Does 14s tardis still do the same thing to? Are they like the same tardis with two bodies and maybe make the noise at same time. Or is more like the way the doctor Bi Generated. I still confused by how that works tbh, its Bassically cloned the doctor in a weird form of regeneration.
It was e0xplained in mysterious sort of his soul was ripped literally in two hence two doctors didn't really explain. What happens when David tenant's doctor on earth dies though does he still regenerate into gatwa or just fade into existence in that sense it wasn't very clear you are right
@@Drugsgamesandrockandroll The implication is they will merge back together. In The Giggle they talk about how the bi-generation means the Doctor can relax for a lifetime and the 15th Doctor would immediately benefit as he's the next iteration.

I don't think this noise is fear or a warning, I think it's pain. Think about it when the Doctor found the Tardis in the workshop. And now think about what the Tardis had to go through in new Who. I think the Tardis is on its last legs and soon it won't be able to go on anymore
SPOILERS: . . . . So the Tardis was being "seduced" by Sutekh during this time, ever since the specials? Is that what happened, or have I misunderstood the episode?
Can it actually be the HADS? Like, what if this sound is supposed to watn for BIG problems, like BIG, VERY BIG, but it only managed to actually activate the HADS while Wild Blue Yonder mending, and now since the HADS is disabled, it constantly warns about the danger that makes the whole universe a hostile action, but can't displace itself?
She also has the Cloister Bells, to warn the Doctor from danger. Could something have deactivated them, and she is now desperate to get the Doctor's attention of the oncoming threat?
@@sheersternfeld1914 I think it's next level of that bells. Like, TARDIS after being/while being damaged, the reality bomb, were the times it activated. No matter the reality bomb was about to destroy the whole creation, INCLUDING parallel worlds, this was a threat coming from inside of universe. But the toy maker, the Maestro, the Trickster, the one who waits, they are powers from beyond this universe that could mend it to their own will with just their thoughts. Bells? A warning. Groaning? *Pure terror*
@@Azeriy all of these theories make me think about Terry Prachett's Diskworld. There is the universe, then there are other universes, and other dimensions. Then there are things beyond the universe, trying to get in, often by manipulating people's minds. Diskworld is on the edge of that universe, meaning it's way easier for these things to get in. What if by being on the edge of the universe in Wild Blue Yonder they allowed something to get in, something much, much worse than the Notthings, because the Notthings were still part of our universe, whereas that was not. Something that maybe hitched a ride in the TARDIS?
Im going to call it here. You know how the Doctor summoned the Toymaker through by playing a game of superstition with salt at the edge of the universe? What if the Captain of that ship taking her own life to stop the not-things was able to summon the God of Death on board the ship, and the Tardis playing Wild Blue Yonder upon landing was not a song directed towards the Not-Things, but rather the fact it was now trying to fight off Sutekh, who wouldve bound himself to the Tardis as soon as it landed at the edge of existence.
I don't think it's Donna's coffee but since everybody is mentioning it, she didn't accidentally spilled some coffee, she had a reflex that made her do it and surprised even herself, she told the story of how she spilled coffee before and lost her job and she ended up finding the doctor again, is her time lord brain making her do those things (as the monsters of the second special mentioned she has all that information inside and can't remember it)
Seeing the TARDIS scared is a very rare occurrence in a show like this. I’m saying this for some of the New Who watchers. The TARDIS is known for throwing the Doctor into certain troubles because it knows that they would be able to fix any problem that is thrown at them. However, the TARDIS has been known to try and avoid even flying, being a sentient machine and all, and would refuse to listen to anything the Doctor says just out of fear. With the HADS system turned back off because of 14, the TARDIS does not have the availability to keep itself safe and if a TARDIS just so happens to explode then, well. Prepare for the big bang, again.
Dude whatever is scary enough to scare the Tardis, THE TARDIS, means the Doctor is up against something either new or something old and has come back strong
Love it when the writers put a single thread of story running the length of a series or several, it always has such huge pay offs when the end of the thread is revealed.
I think whatever the final outcome, you can't deny that RTD is good a setting up plots pretty seamlessly. I never even realized the sound appeared as far back as Wild Blue Yonder.
i love that groan so much more than the cloister bell. with the tardis being a living creature and all, for her to physically groan out of (what im guessing) fear is so much scarier and worrying than a bell.
I wonder if it will be related to how Doctor Who has changed from Sci-Fi based monster lore to now mystical and magical monsters. The Tardis is having trouble adapting to this change.
I never liked the specials or this new doctor who series. But I can tell from that TARDIS she is scared. I know sounds. That TARDIS is fearing something. I want to teleport myself into that world and give her the respect she deserves. I don't think even the DOCTOR is respecting her from the clips I've seen.
Missy, Missy, quick retrieval transmat got her back intact into her cell, after the "Saxon Master" (on 2nd face of "the same") stabbed her for agreeing with the Docror😅
Probably not right, but possible explanation is that it's the regular flight sound slowed right down, possibly if someone is somehow leeching off the TARDIS. I'm still kinda hoping the Rani is gonna be connected.
