I’m honestly a little tired that every new main villain is just another huge powerful godlike multiverse reality altering thing. How about they create a grounded or not so powerful villain who’s super dangerous because of his personality and or views of the world. Batman has a lot of those but the other heroes don’t.

There's so many interesting stories coming out of DC rn! I'm loving it!

This is a crazy theory but here goes. What if there is a protector God of the time Force, and even though there have been time Lord protectors before, possibly minions of so called time God, we have never truly seen a time God. Just like the speed Force has a collective mind of its own watching and occasionally interfering when necessary. The time Force might have decided enough is enough and is slowly using this scientist as it's host until he can fully transfer his power and become the time God and take matters into its own hands literally.

It seems like the Beyond Universe is becoming a canon future or at least including many things from the usual time stream and putting it as a pre cursor. If they’re going forward in time I wish they would just focus on the beyond universe and that generation of characters. I really don’t like the idea of Luke Fox becoming Batman or Boomerang’s son becoming The Flash. There are several other characters I’d rather see continue on those legacies.

God fucking damn it, I originally came up with Paradox for a villain in my CLAWS fanmade comic series. He has basically same powers and premise but doesn't look like that. My paradox looks like normal human. Who's Shadow doesn't exist.

Alan Moore did a great job writing this characters philosophy in all the work and now DC is going around breaking the guys work this is why I will not work with companies like this. I wonder if DC is doing this to clean up the legacy characters and timelines since the Golden age without having to go through new origin stories for all the heroes. If that were the case that would actually be pretty cool. We could see Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman go through the transitions shown in Superman/Batman Generations and also future set comics like Legion of Superheroes, Batman Beyond and Dark Knight Returns. This way instead of having like 8 or 9 different Green Lanterns or Flash or Robins or Bat Girls hanging out together in the same era, we can have them grouped in different time periods having many of their own adventures, retiring at some point and passing on the torch to the next generation. This retirement of characters would also be symbolic of new creators coming up with new content with some inspiration from the originals.

Why do comics do that og numbering thing. Just keep things simple. Ore you could put both numbers on the comic. For example, flash 750 could be called flash 89 (750). That way you can keep the og number and keep track of how many flash books there are. It is also a great way to avoid confusion when issues get relaunched (looking at you marvel).

Doctor Manhattan WAS evil in Doomsday Clock. Not malicious in intent, but still evil. Realized what he was doing was wrong and redeemed himself, but still evil since he stepped into the DC Universe.

The idea of an evil doctor Manhattan is so nonsensical. Manhattan is neither good nor evil. It’s such a misunderstanding of his character. I didn’t like doomsday clock much tbh. There were some great things in it but it got a bit long in the tooth.

What I think is that DC should just STOP with rebooting their entire Universe so much. No wonder why they’re losing so many fans. They keep changing things with their “multiuniversal threats”. It’s annoying. They use to just tell some regular non-universe threatening stories. That’s what I’d like to see, but that’s probably just me.
