I disagree because Israel did not exist at the time so how can it be sons of Israel? Not only that but the true words used here are 6:2 the sons of God This Hebrew phrase, bene ha’elohim, and similar phrasings (bene elohim and bene elim) are used elsewhere in the ot only of heavenly beings (Job 1:6; 2:1; 38:7; Pss 89:6; 82:6; see Deut 32:8 and note). Thus, bene ha’elohim could refer to spiritual beings who are members of God’s council-the divine council.

Why would Jewish scribes who translated the Hebrew into Greek before the time of Christ just say the angels of God and not sons of God? Then one thousand years after the time of Christ biased Jews who hated Christ and the Church and the New Testament all of a sudden call angels sons of God. Think it through. These particular scribes knew of the miraculous birth of Jesus, how Mary was visited by Gabriel (an angel) and told of the coming Savior but did these scribes believe that Jesus was the Messiah, absolutely not so they corrupted the text, and gave us the Hebrew manuscript that is in every KJV in the world. The NT was written in Greek. The Hebrew Bible or Tanak is available and reliable as also the scrolls of cumram were written in Hebrew and included Genesis. But regardless just read it with common sense, why would a union of human (sinful women) and (Godly men) produce extraordinary beings? Ie. Nephilim? In that case why don’t Christian’s or Jews producing these beings when marrying non believers, today? it makes no sense. Look at Jewish history and what they believed, look at the similarities between them and the Mesopotamian material regarding the higher gods and Abkalu , Gilgamesh, the hybrids and compare to 1st Enoch which preserves this narrative. The term son of GOD is biblically consistent when you apply it as a being that GOD has created Himself. Adam Luke 3:36, Jesus, Christians, and angelic beings. We also see numerous texts referring to both the flood and Sodom where angles sinned and sexual immorality by the angels Jude 1:6-7.

Also take notice, but these angels are good like Michael and Gabriel, for example not fallen Angels such as demons! Although God allows some angels to take human form, Hebrews 13: (1-2) Genesis 18: (1-16) Genesis 19: (1-22) Bible Gateway Expanded Bible. This does not change their angelic nature! Also noticed this was temporary, not permanent! Jacob wrestled with an Angel, also Angels rescued Lot. Also in Matthew 28: (1-4) an angel came down from heaven and rolled the stone away ! 🪨 No mere human being could have done that! Yes there’s lots of examples of angels doing God’s work in human form so why couldn’t fallen angels do the same. If you say it’s only the faithful angels and not fallen angels that can appear in human form then you need to be able to demonstrate this from scripture.

Part 1/2 What?? Angels never took human form? Your comment assumes way too much and incorrectly so. Sadly, there is no clarification that the belief is about fallen angels, not demons. Yes Demons are disembodied spirits so in that way the video is correct but that's not the argument. The actual belief is that fallen angels, divine beings came down and and hax sex with human women and produced abominations- divine/human hybrids. This aspect is not addressed so either the video is blatantly misleading by confusing the topic or it's not informed enough to understand the topic to talk about it. Only the creator knows which. Second, let's examine this topic from a biblical standpoint. In Luke 17 Jesus says 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. So Jesus links Genesis 6 and 18, He also links these 2 with His 2nd Coming. This tells us that these events are unlike any in biblical history. That there is something that sets them all apart. So it's not a group of men having sex with women and it's not about homosexuality because we see these things in Babylon, Egypt, Canaan, and the Roman Empire. Then we see Peter in 2 Peter also connects these 2 events but Peter says that the angels somehow sinned that it caused them to be chained in prison for it. Now we know these weren't all the angels because of Scripture. This tells us that in the age of Abraham and Lot the LORD appearing in human form or angels appearing in human form was not uncommon. There was a process of hospitality, of welcome that both Abraham and Lot followed. They were also, not shocked or in fear as we see later in Scripture. They saw these beings and bowed and welcomed them in. To me, this speaks of a time we have no clue about. Now let's go further back Job 1: 6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. 7 And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Revelation 12 tells us who Satan is: 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Adam: Luke 3:37 the son of Methuselah, the son of Enoch, the son of Jared, the son of Mahalalel, the son of Cainan, 38 the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. Jesus obviously was called The Son of GOD. Christians: Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Why? 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Part 2/2 Lastly, we have the book of Jude which 1. talks about this and 2 quotes a different book. 1. 6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. So some angels left their "abode" which is Heaven. This caused the LORD to punish these angels "reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day" again referencing Sodom and Gomorrah. These angels had given themselves over to sexual immorality. The context is not about the people of Sodom but the angles and what happened in Sodom. The angels were sexually immoral. they went after "strange flesh" whatever that was. and they became an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. This is about the angels. Then Jude quotes another book. 2. 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” Now I am not saying the book of Enoch is biblical canon but Jude quotes it, not to make it canon but to show us what happened. Just like I may point to a commentary on the Bible for a passage, it doesn't make the commentary biblical canon but I'm using it to show what I believe is the meaning of that passage. Book of Enoch: Chapter 1:9 "And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgment upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” Excerpt From Researchers Library of Ancient Texts Vol 1. Page 5. We also see the Book of Enoch quote Genesis 6. Again, this doesn't make the book of Enoch biblical canon but Jude and others reference it, to inform us of the story so we can understand the biblical context. Some have speculated that these hybrid -human/divine offspring were the originals and then came the pagan "gods" myths based on the biblical account. What if these fallen angels had sex with human women and created these hybrids and these hybrids ruled mankind as "gods" or beings humans worshipped? Today, we erect statues as a reminder of actual people who lived in the past. Sports figures, leaders, heroes, etc. What if idol worship, is where people worshipped statues made of rock and stone were representations of actual beings? And when the flood came and destroyed their mortal bodies these hybrids became disembodied spirits, demons that roamed the earth? What if these idols inhabited these disembodied spirits? The Bible says that “the sons of God saw the daughters of men.” Two distinctly different descriptions. That’s the difference. The sons of God we’re with God. “Men” were inhabitants of earth. This is why we were required to be “born again.” The word “again”is a mistranslation. Look it up in the Strongs concordance. We are to be born from above, the “water” is the water that surrounds an infant in the womb. These sins of God left their habitation of heaven against God’s command. Think about it. Never were flesh men on earth called sons of God but children of God.

In 'The Book of Enoch' which was found right along with all the other books in the bible with The Dead Sea Scrolls states that Demons are from the dead Giants for they are both from Heaven and Earth (half Angel and half human) and are not stuck here till Judgement.

I don't believe Hank is putting limits on God at all and what evidence do you have that the book of Enoch is credible? After studying this book, I found many false doctrines and contradictions. It is not in the canon of scripture because it contradicts scripture. The Book of Enoch is a pseudepigraphic work, which means that it falsely used Enoch’s name. The Old Testament was completed by Ezra and Nehemiah in about 420 BC. This is likely 100-200 years before the Book of Enoch was written and no matter what translation you use (I prefer the Septuagint) the giants were already present on the earth when the sons of God married the daughters of men. The sin that brought destruction to the world was the sin of being unequally yoked with unbelievers, that is why we were given so much detail from Moses in Genesis 4 and 5 about the lineage of Cain and Seth. Angels are not one time mentioned in the context of the preceding chapters and when they finally are mentioned in Genesis 19, they are not referred to as sons of God. 2 Timothy 4 warned us of what would happen if we went after fables and here we are: 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; 4and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. Here something to research. All western bibles use the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament. This text was written one thousand years after the ascension of Jesus by Jewish scribes who rejected the Messiah and the New Testament. Here's what I want you to research. @Matthew Kirkley - you are misinformed about the "Orthodox" belief. There were Orthodox interpreters that held the Seth falling in unions with the daughters of Cain. See Ephrem the Syrian, Commentary on Genesis 6.3.1. And there is no such thing as “the Orthodox view” regarding Genesis 6:4. Yes Demons are disembodied spirits so in that way the video is correct but that's not the argument. The actual belief is that fallen angels, divine beings came down and and hax sex with human women and produced abominations- divine/human hybrids. This aspect is not addressed so either the video is blatantly misleading by confusing the topic or it's not informed enough to understand the topic to talk about it. Only the creator knows which. This is a bit if a read but hopefully, it can show that there is a solid biblical foundation for us to discuss this topic. Second, let's examine this topic from a biblical standpoint. In Luke 17 Jesus says 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. So Jesus links Genesis 6 and 18, He also links these 2 with His 2nd Coming. This tells us that these events are unlike any in biblical history. That there is something that sets them all apart. So it's not a group of men having sex with women and it's not about homosexuality because we see these things in Babylon, Egypt, Canaan, and the Roman Empire. Then we see Peter in 2 Peter also connects these 2 events but Peter says that the angels somehow sinned that it caused them to be chained in prison for it. Now we know these weren't all the angels because of Scripture. So what set this group apart? 2 Peter 2: 4 For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to Tartarus (deepest part of Hades) and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; 5 and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6 and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; 7 and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked 8 (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds) We see in Genesis 18 that the LORD appeared as a man, but as soon as Abraham saw this "man" he bowed and offered the LORD rest, food and water. This tells us that in the age of Abraham and Lot the LORD appearing in human form or angels appearing in human form was not uncommon. There was a process of hospitality, of welcome that both Abraham and Lot followed. They were also, not shocked or in fear as we see later in Scripture. They saw these beings and bowed and welcomed them in. To me, this speaks of a time we have no clue about. So some angels left their "abode" which is Heaven. This caused the LORD to punish these angels "reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day" again referencing Sodom and Gomorrah. These angels had given themselves over to sexual immorality. The context is not about the people of Sodom but the angles and what happened in Sodom. The angels were sexually immoral. they went after "strange flesh" whatever that was. and they became an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. This is about the angels. Then Jude quotes another book. 2. 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” Now I am not saying the book of Enoch is biblical canon but Jude quotes it, not to make it canon but to show us what happened. Just like I may point to a commentary on the Bible for a passage, it doesn't make the commentary biblical canon but I'm using it to show what I believe is the meaning of that passage. Book of Enoch: Chapter 1:9 "And behold! Again, this doesn't make the book of Enoch biblical canon but Jude and others reference it, to inform us of the story so we can understand the biblical context. Today, we erect statues as a reminder of actual people who lived in the past. Sports figures, leaders, heroes, etc. What if idol worship, is where people worshipped statues made of rock and stone were representations of actual beings? And when the flood came and destroyed their mortal bodies these hybrids became disembodied spirits, demons that roamed the earth? What if these idols inhabited these disembodied spirits? Just some thoughts that might help with the context of Scripture.

Demons are the disembodied spirits of the hybrid offspring Genesis 6 calls 'The Nephilim.' Fallen Angels (including Satan) are the celestial beings that were hurled down in Revelation 12. But what happened in Gen.6 is the same thing Lucifer and Eve did in Gen.3 which produced Cain. Humbly pray and then study it to see the truth, and you'll see it to be true.

Looking at extra biblical texts like the Book of Enoch, (they are not canon, but they do give insight into the general belief of the society at large) we can gather that the Sons of God were the Angels/Watchers. The term Sons of God appears 5 times in the Old Testament. Each time the phrase is used (not to be confused with calling a Christian a son of God) it is referring to angelic or supernatural beings. Demons are the disembodied spirits of the unholy union of the Watcher/Sons of God/Fallen Angels and mortal women. This explanation also dovetails nicely with the pagan beliefs of all the peoples of the world, people and cultures separated by thousands of miles all referring to the same general story. "Little g" gods sleeping with mortal women to create demigods or "Men of Renown" as they are called in Genesis 6.

The Sons of God are the children of Adam through Seth... _"Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of _*_Adam, which was the son of God."_* -- compare to Genesis 5. The Daughters of Men were of the lineage of Cain -- see Genesis 6. Adam's lineage is identified through Seth, and St. Luke settled it by listing Adam as _"the son of God."_ Moreover, John 1:12 _"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God..."_ Please try to avoid absolutes like "EVERYWHERE."

The only one who claim himself as Son of God in the new Testament was Jesus, after that the meaning of son of God was referred to believers. Now in the old testament is totally different, it is referred only to divine beings. Now that God intended that only each kind can reproduce, totally makes sense why these angels are captive for their transgressions and waiting to be judged as the book of Jude States.

A pastor who makes a pop culture reference to movies, like City Slickers, Forest Gump, or Dead Poets Society, is never intending the congregation to think he is passing on straight news about actual people and events.

On a particular morning when she'd decided to glamour herself for the guy she was cheating on me with at her job, the succubus demon woke me to the exact same routine touch that my girlfriend used to wake me to. The worst part is that the demon's touch felt better than hers because it was *FAR* more sensual, oddly energy draining *YET* charged with lust altogether. When I snapped open my eyes happily thinking she'd finally decided to be intimate with me instead of considering other prospects...she was in a completely different room, styling her hair. There was no way she could have gotten that distance in that timeframe. Finally one day her son came to us claiming he'd seen his mom (my girlfriend) in his room watching him sleep...when we both denied this, he reiterated he knows it was her because he spoke to her and she told him to go back to sleep...and he listened. That was it! I spent 8hrs straight the next day blessing each "portal" _(doors and windows)_ of the townhome, repenting of my newfound lustful desires, and reading scripture while being sure to end in prayer before going to the next room. We had other experiences than just that, and out of wanting to ensure neither of them fed the demon anything more than I already had...I pretended to know of nothing she would introduce to me in a panic, and just downplay it until she felt secure. I never told her about my having exorcised her home. To this day, I still cannot understand how the succubus knew exactly what to present itself as in my dreams nor how exactly to touch me...but it did. Praise God for allowing that manifestation of evil, because I wholly believe I'll never be able to comfortably live in that type of sexual sin ever again!

Today, we erect statues as a reminder of actual people who lived in the past. Sports figures, leaders, heroes, etc. What if idol worship, is where people worshipped statues made of rock and stone were representations of actual beings? And when the flood came and destroyed their mortal bodies these hybrids became disembodied spirits, demons that roamed the earth? What if these idols inhabited these disembodied spirits? You are having a hard time with this Bible verse because you start with a false premise or understanding. 1)The Bible does not say demons had sexual relations with women, but angels. Fallen angels and demons are not the same thing. 2)Jesus brought up the subject of ghosts to prove he was not one and asked if they had food to eat to prove he had a physical body and was not a spirit. Angels can transform to look like humans and eat as proven through scripture in many occasions, for example Judges 13:15. 3) if there was nothing extra ordinary about these “sons of god” but merely descendants of Seth as some claim, why the abnormal offspring?(giants). Humans having relationships with humans do not produce nephilim giants. 4) who are the angels in the abyss (Jude 6;2 Peter2:4)what did they do that was so bad that they were locked up immediately unlike the other fallen angels that roam around with Satan (Job1:6, 2:1) and present themselves before God. Who by the way are called “sons of God”(these are obviously not human but angels). Well the answer is there in Jude; they left their “abode”(Heavenly positions) and did the unnatural “sexual immorality” like Sodom and Gomorrah doing the unnatural (Jude7)

It was not God enabling angels to manifest. Again God created angels with free will to choose. Being on a higher plane than humans , angels are far exceeding in their ability to travel from their spiritual world into the physical world at ease. They were created to serve God but those who rebelled against God will now depart from the heavenly realm to serve themselves and to Satan's agenda.

Part 2/2 Lastly, we have the book of Jude which 1. talks about this and 2 quotes a different book for reference. 1. Jude 1:6 And the angels who did not keep their proper domain, but left their own abode, He has reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day; 7 as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. So some angels left their "abode" which is Heaven. This caused the LORD to punish these angels "reserved in everlasting chains under darkness for the judgment of the great day" again referencing Sodom and Gomorrah. These angels had given themselves over to sexual immorality. The context is not about the people of Sodom but the angles and what happened in Sodom. The angels were sexually immoral. they went after "strange flesh" whatever that was. and they became an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. This is about the angels. Then Jude quotes another book. 2. 14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” Now I am not saying the book of Enoch is biblical canon but Jude quotes it, not to make it canon but to show us what happened. Just like I may point to a commentary on the Bible for a passage, it doesn't make the commentary biblical canon but I'm using it to show what I believe is the meaning of that passage. And when the flood came and destroyed their mortal bodies these hybrids became disembodied spirits, demons that roamed the earth? What if these idols inhabited these disembodied spirits? Why AMEN? Hank doesn't even classify the topic correctly. We're talking about fallen angels, not demons. I know this isn't a salvation issue but if we're going to study Scripture shouldn't we study Scripture? I think so. This is a bit long but I hope it helps you as a study on the topic. Sadly, as I said there is no clarification that the belief is about fallen angels, not demons. Yes Demons are disembodied spirits so in that way the video is correct but that's not the argument. The actual belief is that fallen angels, divine beings came down and had sex with human women and produced abominations- divine/human hybrids. This aspect is not addressed so either the video is blatantly misleading by confusing the topic or it's not informed enough to understand the topic to talk about it. Only the creator knows which. Second, let's examine this topic from a biblical standpoint. In Luke 17 Jesus says 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed. So Jesus links Genesis 6 and 18, He also links these 2 with His 2nd Coming. This tells us that these events are unlike any in biblical history. That there is something that sets them all apart. So it's not a group of men having sex with women and it's not about homosexuality because we see these things in Babylon, Egypt, Canaan, and the Roman Empire. Then we see Peter in 2 Peter also connects these 2 events but Peter says that the angels somehow sinned that it caused them to be chained in prison for it. Now we know these weren't all the angels because of Scripture. They saw these beings and bowed and welcomed them in. To me, this speaks of a time we have no clue about.
