This strat is not possible with the cacti to the degree of the slurp plants from a few seasons ago it takes over a minute for it to recharge compared to 15 secs

I don’t see it as a mistake. Those things are clutch when you’re in a bind.

Solution: don’t play ranked, and play zero builds. I can assure you this is not an issue there due to how much harder it is to camp.

eh, kinda feels more like a problem with damage trading more than the plants themselves. i still dont like how they just put the plants in after that whole mess but it might be moreso a problem with damage trading as a whole being cringe

I use them to heal cars when no gas stations. I like them. It's not the worst thing this season, that would go to the cars and the lack of EMPS

competitive scene is just different, fortnite devs should care about the casual audience instead

Chapter 4 Summer season was truly unique because of the mud and plant mechanics🥺

Ah nah let’s not talk about nitro fists and self regen cars with turrets/bombs and spiked fronts for added damage

Compared to how broken some of the other stuff is this season I think its the least of our concerns

At least they made it so the plants wont grow back when they are in the storm

this is literally the worst season for being sweaty and competitive, and im all here for the chaos.

All I know is I hate my friends for always wasting shields no matter what. Use the damn plants.

Limit the amount of storm surge damage you can get from a single enemy player, reset it after a amount of time has passed and there problem solved.

In the tournaments now they’re gonna do that glitch like before to get infinite surge when they would sit next to one of the shield berries that would regrow and get infinite surge

It’s just the slurp plant reskinned from chapter 4 in the jungle so I don’t see the problem at all. It’s actually good to have multiple ways of healing yourself believe it or not.

Considering the 2000hp war machines that can one shot 3 players at once during the final storm circle, I doubt thats an issue

You don’t know what you’re talking about these are alternative to also heal your car because all the repair stations can be destroyed

The difference between this season with the cacti and chapter 4 with the plants is that the cactus spawn is not the center of the map where storm use goes (I think) so they can’t abuse it every game unlike the plants which were in the middle of the map so they could because storm would usually go there (I think)

Only good thing abt the season is these cactuses

But the funny thing is the slurp cactus don’t respond in the storm so once you destroy them they’re gone the whole match

Bro from first sight of these cactus I was thinking about the FNCS were they used the body and pickaxed him and then healed the body from the shield plant and kept on getting surge from it!!!

Why is NO ONE talking about the vehicles????? They are the most annoying and overpowered things epic has added in many seasons

I feel like a lot of context is missing from the controversy involving the slurp plants during Wilds. First off, it was damn-near impossible to see through the jungle biome, and the plants were usually in heavily lush areas that have decent cover. Second off, they usually spawned right next to eachother, I saw 3 of them within a 10-meter radius at one point. The Cacti on the other hand are few and far between and theyre usually right out in the open, so getting them is way more risky, I'd say.

To this day, its so funny how Bucke and kreo did that surge trick and got banned for 60 days... Epic had no proof of them agreeing in advance to do this (teaming), but still deicided to ban them for THAT many days, which was super unfair and unjust. If bugha did that surge trick instead of bucke, everyone wouldve genuenly called him a genius and a goat😅

They are a reusable resource that 9/10 is not around in the end game. Just like chests or anything else, it is a question if any part of the Wasteland will be inside the late game circles so camping Slurp Cacti is a VERY inconsistent option for heals and armor.

They ruined ranked. This season should be a unique "Car BR" game mode, but not the normal game mode... I just came back last season and am just blown away that this season is a thing. It's not, not fun. It's just not what I came back to play.

1) remove boogies 2) half the dmg on all car turrets 3) nerf fists dmg but increase the weapon/build switch delay when fists are on. 4) nerf shield and ammo medallion. Like wtf were they thinking?

As someone who only started playing Fortnite late last year when I got my PS5, I'm honestly enjoying the game. These OG players or whatever they call themselves these days can't be happy with anything new about the game. So they complain about it every chance they get. They forgot the meaning of fun

After hitting unreal last season (after weeks of sweat and swearing) I'm never doing it again. Evvvvver! So cactus? Ha?! Couldn't care!!!! 🤣

I loved the cars i dont get why people were hating so hard i hated the fact there was not alot of items to counter cars when there are lots of items they coulda given us we asked for emps but got boogie bombs i hated this even more than the original healing cars they should have given us emps, anvil rocket launcher, C4, and they could have made a new item similar to a bunker box but its a ramp that will save you from getting ran over if there were more ways to deal with the cars when the cars were still healing i think it would have been a bunch of fun tbh the tow hooks sucked other than using it as a shotgun to shoot people in the face 😂

Story of every content creator. They all go through the same patern. They start small and very focused. Gain subs. Quit their jobs and then they become very opinionated about every item Epic adds to Fortnite. I get it. Because you have less things to talk about so you try to create problems to keep your channel going.

Cars are the worst, I. Couldn't care less about the plants And all the people defending them are just straight up noobs. "just get a car yourself", some of. Us prefer to use skill instead of camping in cars all game

For the 90th time I keep saying this Is competitive players have a problem with the new items And casual players love the new items Remove or nerve a new items in competitive playlists. There is no reason why epic can't take the unbalanced stuff away from competitive mode and competitive cups. There is no reason why epic cannot either disable the slurp plants, or remove them from the map entirely in competitive cups. Is epic would just remove the stuff competitive players don't like from competitive playlists, everyone would be happy. But no epic decides to remove the items that casuals like just to appease competitive players. Then everyone in casual is pissed Everyone in competitive gets blamed for it unfairly And everyone in the playerbase is unhappy

Got a question. Anytime I try to replay a tournament everyone just freezes… I’m on a pc and I can’t find any info on how to help with the glitch. Any advice?

Do damage numbers effect score in comp? This game really just isn't built for competetive play and people who think it is are delusional.

I figured out you can heal with these, so I get the battle bus, and a torch. And go on a rampage, whenever i can ill look for heal boxes, they have the same spawn locations, and gas pumps cause they heal, but when I'm in battle ill keep driving and hit the cactus, it heals a good 150 car health, enough to keep going to the next cactus, if I get stuck, I get out and out heal the bus whole the enemy waste their bullets and I can escape

It’s smart play, annoying as it is, if it’s a mechanic within the game, I’ll use it. Losing isn’t wrong if you learn from the mistakes, that’s how good players become better
