You’re doing fantastic half a pound is fab, well done , you will get your 5 stone !! You’ve done so well especially not gaining in 36 weeks !! It shows that SP days are not always best to do to loose extra weight !! Just do what your doing 👏👏xxx

Denise, you are such an inspiration. Your commitment on your weight-loss journey is amazing. Can't wait to hear your news next week, but remember that if it's not next week, just look at the big number on the right of your book to remind yourself of how far you have come. You have so much to be proud of! As 'Weigh Lady' (who also happens to be a mad, old Scottish wummin 😂) for our class in Derbyshire, I always say Well Done! - even if it's just for walking through the door xx

I know you're frustrated at 1/2pound off, and you certainly deserved more , however you haven't gained in 36 weeks, your body shape is changing which is a fabulous non scale victory ❤. You look and sound fabulous, so don't be too disheartened and here's to next week's 5 stone award ! ❤xc

Hi Antonia, thanks so much! A colleague of mine noticed I’d lost weight today. I told her I’d lost 5 stone (almost) and she was like what?! When?! 😂 I did laugh as she had JUST noticed today lol. I’m like ok well I’m dramatically different in shape and size lol. I hope you’re having a great week lovely 🩷

Hi hun. I’ve only just joined your channel recently. The fact you haven’t had a gain in 36 weeks is absolutely brilliant. Some weeks I guess it’s tricky to lose weight but the fact you had a loss and those scales are going down is absolutely amazing as for some of us, it can be up and down on the scales. Do you weigh in the morning or evening? Xxxxxxxx

Thanks for subbing! I really appreciate your support 🩷 I weigh in the morning at 07:30 or 09:30 on a Saturday. I always eat light the day beforehand too, soup for lunch etc as it makes me feel less bloated. I did used to go to a 17:30 or a 19:30 class but stopped as it was too much to do after work. Which day is your weigh in? Xxx

Thank you so much! I am sending healing and positive wishes to you. It may be worth having a bit of a self cleanse, write down your for and against and try to plan for a day or two and see if you can get back on track. Life is real and happens all around us, we want to be present and enjoy it but we do need a balance at times too. You know the good feeling that eating well and fuelling your body correctly does for your mental health as well as your physical health, so try to be mindful of that too 🩷 xx

I know what you mean about BMI. A lot of athletes like Rugby players are classed as ‘obese’. It’s crazy. Xxx

Your weight will slow down just take each days as it comes I am at slimming world but ihave been a target members for 36 weeks now and I never set atarget or said how much I was going to lose ever week I just said I would take it as it came as I didn’t want to put myself under pressure this way as I lost my weight before Covid and put most of it on an more Iam now at a good place but it take hard work to maintain it I have been at sw 2years and a month and I am 71 🐝❤️

Hi Irene, wow! What a fantastic achievement to be at target and for so long as well! Well done. I like your idea of never setting a goal each week. I always usually go for ‘a loss’ in my head, but more recently I have wanted to set goals to focus me and to achieve my 5 stone award. I’m in no rush to lose the weight but my ideal would be to lose another stone by the time I go to Tenerife in May. I’m glad to hear you’re in a positive mindset, it’s so important to maintain an achievable goal of good and better health long term. Thank you for sharing your experience with me 🩷

I can feel how frustrating it is for you. I've been trying since before Christmas to get my 4 and half stones. I've lost, gained repeat. I will keep trying, chipping away. Good luck for next weigh in xx

I only have 5lb to go before I hit target but struggling to get there. Not one gain in two years and now I am nearly there I just can get a loss. I am on maintains or 0.5 gains. It’s so frustrating but I had a speed week last week and was so good and on track but had a maintain. Any tips or advice would be great. Thanks for your videos they are much appreciated. Xx

Hi Sammy, thanks for sharing your experiences with me. I love that I get to find out about other people on here, and makes me feel supported by knowing others do go through the same motions as me. I followed SP for a week two weeks ago and lost 1lb. I worked so hard too…but it didn’t work for me on the scales! I’ve no idea why it didn’t work as I ate drastically less calories and followed it to the T. Unfortunately, my consultant didn’t have any answers for me either, she advised me that it was still a loss. I’m glad to hear that you enjoy my videos! Take care 🩷 xx

I feel your frustration since starting despite being on plan, eating half my SYN allowance or under and that has not been on Snacks but incorporated in meal that way I am so full I do not need snacks. I have only lost 1lb a week. This last week has been awful due to a death of close friend and Anniversary of dad in law, soul sister and mums deaths so not so much off plan just could not eat or drink and still 1 lb loss. My head is wow at least I am losing and bang on what NHS would say good, consistent weight loss that is likely to stay off. My heart is I have done all I can even doing Physio exercises in bed when it is last thing I wanted to do. I had hoped to lose more especially when others at start seem to lose so much. Last Saturday standing on Scales I honestly could have just not done it but that is not attitude or point Dormouse. I remind myself of Hare and Tortoise story or boy racer revving engines up at traffic lights and lol you pull up behind them at next roundabout we both get there. I am surely going to be Tortoise slow but sure and I need my heart to accept this and acknowledge it is weight off.

Hi Dormouse, first of all I’d like to send my sincere condolences to you. I am very sorry to hear of your dear friends passing and anniversaries of other key people in your life, what a terrible time. I’m pleased to see that you are still losing weight and able to participate in the physio even when you didn’t want to, that is an excellent achievement. I like your analogy of a boy racer going past you, and being behind them at the next set of lights. You’re so right! I guess we can all get frustrated at times and I struggle with that the most as seeing others not following the plan properly and losing weight is like short change. I hope you are OK - here to chat any time xx

@@ScottishFoodieLassie Thanks for your kind words Denise. I have sat with many people during my Nursing Career as they died but and always, a privilege to care for them and their family /friends. This was hard as at home where he wanted to be with just his wife my best friend and myself such a long but all to short night. Today it has just hit me I am so tired. It seems selfish to worry what scales will say on Saturday but we have been firmly told to live life by my friend and for me that means shifting this weight not on physical weight but psychological weight it brings with it. Saturday the boy racer maybe beside me at lights and get away faster but I blooming will drive up behind him at those traffic lights I have to say you are doing well the SP week such a variety of food... I would have said many bad words in car coming home as like you I would have hoped for more but remmber our bodies are wonderful things in that week it had allowed you to work, gym, family time, sleep and wake each day maybe it was just needing to hold on to extra fuel for a busy week the following week it will balance and you will enjoy the 5st mark all the more sending a hug.
