For all the people watching all these cheap and expensive rod reel challenges. You don't need high tech expensive gear to catch fish. I've been using a 60+year old zebco 33 with a bass pro 6ft spincast rod and it catches some pretty big fish.
All my friends have that exact same rod😂 the grips are actually eva foam with cork print on top of it. They’re pretty solid rods though and I might get one
Cabela’s in Avon was empty too. Tried to get my niece and nephew a rod/reel combo with no luck. Walmart’s reel section was empty! Nothing like more fishing pressure on our Ohio lakes 😓 tight lines boss. Stay healthy!
I have found that the 24 ton rods in the lighter configs bust to easily If I get the IM6 because of a good deal too good to pass up Ill have to get them in a heavy config
Is not the rod caching fish is you... Every rod will work great me a Shimano FX Aroglass in 7' medium power rod $18 and the master 8' medium heavy power rod $28 spinning reels there silver blue not gold black 🤔 nice to find cheeper stuff.
