Fun Fact: The director Michael Bay kept rewriting the script on set and wasn’t feeling it so nearly all the dialog in this movie is improvisation and Ad-lib. The scene where they’re driving and will smith tells Martin he’s driving like a B*tch. Michael Bay told Will to call him that to get his natural reaction lol. Which they did very often in this movie. CLASSIC! Thanks MJ!

Hi MJ. This one is my favorite of the trilogy, despite the third one getting high praise. This movie is a perfect example of chemistry casting. Both Martin and Will played perfectly from one another. The plot was thin, but I have learned to view this movie strictly as a comedy film with action. I have read through a few comments and I can back up that Martin was a bigger star than Will. However, this was a breakout moment for Will, and allowed him to shake the silly sitcom persona he had from Fresh Prince. No matter what I may think about Will in recent years, he has built himself to be a star, which is not an easy feat.

It might be better for you that you watched "Don't be a menace" first, because you saw how the spoof version used the other movies to tell a different, funny story. The Wayans Brothers were the creators of the Scary Movie franchise. They claim the IP was stolen from them by Weinstien. You can tell that after 1 and 2, the cleverness was completely exempt from the rest of the movies when the wayans were not there
