I’m so sorry you got scammed. I just started collecting Longchamp a few months ago, so this was very informative for me to watch and to read the comments. I think this video has also convinced me to only purchase directly from the store, their website, or the Longchamp outlet. People are so dodgy! 😔 You’ve help me realize that I’d rather pay full price and never have to question if I got the real deal or not. Btw, your nails look lovely. ☺️

Yes you are so right. For now I will also only get from official stores. However I'm very satisfied with the customer service from Vestiaire Collective. I got my money back easily and they confirmed it was fake: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nLQ-XHs0qL8.html So if I ever decide to go for a great pre-loved piece - I would use that platform again. But yea.. for now only official stores lol. The prices are already great anyway. Thanks for watching x

Hi Sandy 😘 thanks for your tag. Well I am sorry to tell you that you have bought a fake bag. As soon as you put it out the dustbag , i just saw the quality of leather, it looks synthetic for me and above all the embossed logo which is completely not as usual. Seems that the horse is puffy all over. It is not designed professionally, authentic. Having the plastic tab is normal, not always you got a leather one. But all the numbers written on yours is also a bit odd! The handles of the bag as well as the glazing are not good. Please if you can return it , do it and get your money back! I also want to mention, a lot of fake bags got the indication Made in France. People making fake bags tend to note that and play on the fact that Longchamp is a french brand, so when buyers saw the tab they have trust and stop looking at the bag carefully. Keep us informed 😘

Thanks so much for taking the time checking out the bag and letting me know your thoughts! You are so right about the 'Made in France' tag. I do notice that a lot when I spot a fake LV bag online. Those counterfeit bags also always have the 'Made in France' embossing because people like it. Anyway, since I'm kind of newly obsessed with Longchamp it was a bit hard for me to know for sure if this was fake. Thanks so much!!

I hate that this happened to you. I would be upset too. I’m glad you got your refund. I’m purchasing my le pliage on poshmark-through a random seller and I’m asking her for clearer photos. It’s not enough for them to say “it’s authentic” 🙄 thankfully I do own authentic le pliage but if I can’t get a refund or return I will be so sad 😭 I only paid $30+ for a size small but still….I hate wasting $!

My authentic red one in the same material, metis leather. Your chaps are a different shape, you are missing the extra ring of leather under the snap on the bag, my stitching and glazing is neater. The plastic tab is normal, but mine also has a leather tab on top of the plastic one. The dimensions on the bottom look off to me - mine spreads out beyond the rectangle base. Prob around 1/4-1/2 inch on the front and back side of the bag.

Hi Hannah, absolutely! Yes I wasn't suspecting anything until receiving the bag. The material didn't feel as I expected it to feel like + the sloppy stitching. Lesson learned as you said! However I'm really satisfied how Vestiaire Collectives customer service handles the situation. It was very easy and fast sending the bag off to them and getting the refund. I almost bought an XS in the mock croc leather, it was listed on Poshmark for $150 as I started comparing to others it was definitely a fake. That one you got needs to get sent back it looks like a fake to me, several things are “off” imo.

Yes I guess I should have done more research before buying it.. but oh well... another lesson learned. Will now just purchase one directly from Longchamp.. In Australia, these XS bags are cowhide leather, with a price tag of AU$835 - totally insane! I've been buying Le Pliage bags since the were first released and they have changed, back then they had PARIS on the zipper pull and I'm sure the medium was a little smaller, with shorter top handles - plus the handles were double leather - so face leather both sides... I hope you returned the bag for a full refund! 🤬

Yes thankfully Vestiaire Collective helped out & I got a refund. Oh yea that price is much higher than here in Europe.. I see AU$835 would be about €511 today while here in store the bags are now €370... Would be a better purchase perhaps if you ever plan to visit Europe.. You would even get a tax refund/tax-free shopping on top of that!

I think is fake because the tag inside should be leather not plastic. I have to 2 leather items from this brand and the tag inside is made of leather.

maybe a fake one, the stiches... many fake Longchamp bags will be rough when dealing with the stiches, the real one would be beautiful.

omg sorry its not an authentic one...the strap horrible the flap the same ....i dont think the bag is even leather , complete a fake for my eyes ,x sorry😶 Longchamp has an suuuuper quality i love the originals ..cuir , pliage .....every line🤗
