idk if you knew this, but you really dont have to immediantly spend 80m to permanently charge it you can just, you know, load it up with 2m in charges and run around with it for awhile

Power creep eventually changes the fundamentals of an RPG. When they nerfed the blowpipe (rlly pissed me off as an Ironman) I knew what was to follow. At what point is gear too powerful? They’re going to ruin OSRS.

If it makes yall feel any better, according to the wiki, currently less than 4% of players have ever defeated wave 12 once. Thats stats WITH wikisync, so the actual number is even lower than that. Yall quiver owners are a very exclusive club of real endgame pvmers out there.

Whether or not you think Jagex went too far with range is subjective, and will depend on your premises. What isn't an opinion, is that there are more ways to scale damage in OSRS, then there are to scale survivability, and some of those ways scale multiplicatively with each other. That means as more and more powerful items are introduced into OSRS, the time to kill in PvP will get lower, and fights will be based more on getting good RNG. IMO this is a problem that needs a solution.

I think it's a good thing you gotta spend 80m to charge it. Everyone in this game even like mediocre raiders and pvmers have max or near max gear these days. All the high end PVMers have had enough for max gear and then extra cash stack sitting there for past 6 years. We need more sinks and expensive items where it's actually a hit to the cash stack to get new stuff. Not well I have nothing left to buy so lemme spend 1b out of my 5b cash stack to buy d imps for elite clues because what else do I need this go fir

quiver attack bonus is almost NOTHING when converted to chance to hit and dps. content creators overhyping it so hard. the str bonus, yes its good. att obnus?? gives u like 3% more chance to hit on robes. 1% on armor

Quiver knife pure builds haven't been widely adopted yet. It's probably the strongest use of it imo Also love the old dspear axe combo. It feels so good when the axes hit.

Thanks for making this video and bringing the imbalance in the game to more people’s attention. Ranged absolutely broke the combat triangle and dominates everything now :/ The ranged skill is buyable through a quest with no requirements (dwarf cannon), deals ridiculous damage even in regular dhide or void with one click of a dbow and one click of a throwing axe off a big knife, unavoidable deaths with the spear spec like you highlighted, fastest and highest dps weapons in the game, brainless training in a few hours with cannon and 0 hp xp, can safespot anything that can be safespotted, it’s 100% meta and is killing BH and Pking in general :c Mele armors should give more negative ranged attack bonuses like they do with mage, it’s only fair since range and mage scale the same way with defence/combat level in general, yet magic is a WAY more important skill for the game’s play and longevity. Jagex needs to totally rebalance ranged and make it scale with defence level more effectively, they’ve changed the game with all of these ranged equipment updates and the “ranged strength” split from “ranged attack” mechanic. 99 range = 99 ranged strength with no difference in combat level, yet melee is governed by attack + strength levels deciding what combat level a character is. It’s not fair nor fun at all, not to mention the new atlatl just enabled the combat style further and made even more broken accounts stronger.

I miss the days of black d hide and crystal bow, or karils and and an Xbow. Ranger set, black d hide and a legends cape made you a god. I remember being so proud of my full dragon too. I picked so much flax, merched so many clue items and alched so many longbows. Sacrificed the summers of my youth. Old school RuneScape isn't really old school anymore. Private clients don't quite do it anymore. Ah well, I've moved on, I'm in my thirties after all.

14:43 you can use the plugin Custom Menu Swaps to remove the destroy option on the quiver with the command destroy,dizana* in the "custom hides" section. Doesn't really help when you're on base client right after updates, but thats a pretty small window of time tbh
