Catholics will say that Jesus siblings were actually his cousins. Yet, they will never give you a reason why they don’t think it’s possible for Mary to have other children. Could it be that they think Mary is so holy that if Joesph had any sexual relations with her it would be sacrilege? However the Bible does say Joesph did in fact have sexual relations with Mary. But he did not consummate their marriage until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus. Matthew 1:25

In Luke chapter 2, Jesus is called the "firstborn" of Mary. In Luke chapter 7, Luke uses the word "only-born" for the widow' son. Luke could have used "only-born" in reference to Jesus, but didn't because Jesus had brothers and sisters... children of Mary. hey Catholics ✌️ you lose again

Its not about loosing or wining, its about all believers of Christ being one, as Jesus and his Father are one. We are the bride of Christ, rooted into the olive tree. Although most jews don't acknowledge Yeshua/Jesus as their Messiah, we Christians owe our Jewish brothers recognition due to the fact that because of them, we have the Bible. Jesus Christ came from a Jewish family, same with catholics, they may not acknowledge the truth, but lots of them are realizing that Christianity isn't about religion, its about having a personal, spiritual relationship with Christ. As Jesus prayed for everyone to come to him, because he is the only way to the Father, we also must pray for everyone to seek the truth. Jesus is the truth.

@@guillermogarcia4171 (you mean "losing") and you're wrong. heretics lose in the end... and Catholics, who grant the incommunicable attributes of God to dead humans, are heretics. They also add works to the gospel, in violation of Galatians 2:16, Eph 2:8-9, and Titus 3:5. But their #1 problem is that they deny that the Bible is the sole, infallible rule of faith for us... and "go beyond what is written" by turning to human councils and magisteriums, instead of rightly dividing the Word.

"Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from them" (Proverbs 24:17-18). "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets" (Matthew 7:12). Since you are okay with being called a loser, what have you won? Did anyone repent and believe because of your comment? You were going along so well, then you just had to include that last line.

I'm not a Catholic, but I have to point out, every denomination has doctrines that contradict the Bible. Baptists prohibit dancing. Church of Christ prohibits musical instruments. Which ones you can tolerate, is what determines which denomination you will accept.

Ok much of this is outright false. Let me explain. With a little exercise of humility, you can and should Learn from Catholics how to read scripture : Other Gospel passages clarify these relationships. James and Joses were the sons of Mary of Cleophas (Mark 15:40). Mary of Cleophas is described in the Gospel of John as our the Virgin Mary’s “sister” (John 19:25); obviously, she must have been a cousin, and James and Joses thereby cousins of our Lord. Judas was the son of James (not either of the apostles) (Luke 6:16). James the lesser was the son of Alphaeus (Luke 6:15). James the greater and John were the sons of Zebedee with a mother other than our Blessed Mother Mary (Matthew 20:20). The first statement that “Jesus for sure had 4 brothers” is blatantly false and easily disprovable with scripture alone. There is also only ONE person defined as having the Virgin Mary as his mother, Jesus. No one else is ever defined as having her explicitly as their mother. To say anything else would be extra biblical. Furthermore, Jesus trusts the Apostile John with Mary as he’s on the cross. According to Jewish Law the siblings would take care of Mary. Keep in mind many of Jesus’s “siblings” were supposedly at the crucifix. Jesus doesn’t entrust Mary to his siblings despite them standing right there, why? It makes no logiciel or logistical sense. To say Mary had all these other kids is a very poor reading of scripture.

I have a question for you. Why did Jesus choose a donkey that no one had ever ridden on? A grave where no one was buried was taken? No one else was buried in it after that. Iam an Orthodox Christian from Kerala, India. St. Thomas came to Kerala at the famous ancient Port 'Muziris' which has erased from history. After 2000 years nowadays no one knows that ancient port. We're the followers of Jesus Christ by St. Thomas. We believe Mary mother of God never had a worldly life because of God Jesus Christ. She was the true the worshiper of Jesus. Didn't she know he was born from her womb by the Holy Spirit and so he is God ? Modern men don't believe this first miracle by Jesus but Mary did it. The God came into her womb without help of any human. And Lord lived there by nine months and came out Unspoiling her virginity is the second miracle. In the birth of Jesus there were numerous miracles in the eyes of Mary which was not described in the Bible. The human Mary why didn't worship Jesus? No human never tasted such miracles nevertheless Mary. Exercising these mysteries she lived in the paradise, because wherever Jesus is that's paradise. Do anybody marry in paradise? No,Never. They were just like angels. And so we can conclude that Mary lived here as an angel worshipping God Jesus through out her life. Because the vision made by angel to righteous Joseph, he changed his views . So he came to know that the God Almighty is sitting in Mary's womb. He looked after Mary just as we take care of Church. It was the house of God. Modern human wish to minimize the dignity of Jesus. They may think that Jesus in her womb wasn't God. Dignity came to Jesus while he was grownup, which is a heresy. Jesus chose a donkey that no one had ever ridden on. A grave where no one was buried was taken. No one else was buried in it after that. All these proves that he is God. Indeed, it is impossible for another person to enter the womb in which he resided! Mary in her whole life lived sacred. She was the first disciple of Jesus Christ and possessed top respect

You actually eluded to an I interesting point. The church, East and west, has always thought of Mary as the Ark of the New Covenant, therefore, like the OT ark, a type of Mary if you will, no man would be allowed to touch the Ark since God Himself resided in her womb. For that reason, Jesus had to be Mary's only son.

@@thengingalwilly1493 To take it further, with the word 'woman' used to describe Eve in Genesis and Mary in the NT, Eve being a type for Mary, even as a Protestant (even though we had no category to apply typology to Mary), I was taught that the NT fulfillment is always greater than it's OT type, therefore, if the first woman, Eve, was born sinless, it is only fitting that the second woman, Mary (Eve's fulfillment), would also be born sinless. Same for the first and second Adam. The first woman said 'no' to God while the second said 'yes'. The first woman is the fleshly mother of us all while Mary is said to be the spiritual mother of us all (Revelation 12:17). Her Magnificat in Luke also clearly describes her as the new Davidic Kingdom Gebirah i.e. queen mother who always sat at her son's (the king's) right side. Remember when the two brothers and their mother ask Jesus if they could be allowed to each sit at His side in His kingdom. Jesus' answer was 'those places have already been decided'. When we consider the OT Giberah plus Mary's Magnificat where she herself states 'the Lord has brought down the mighty from their throwns and lifted us the lowly' (to their throwns). I would say Mary, inspired to say what she did, knew exactly what the Annunciation meant for her in the new kingdom. Our churches, East and West, have never failed to call her blessed among women. as she prophesied. God bless.

1. You state it's unbiblical to say Jesus did not have brothers or sisters, you then claim he had half brothers & sisters. The bible does not describe them as half brothers or sisters. So your claim is clearly unbiblical. 2. In John 19:25 we read, “Standing by the foot of the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary of Magdala.” Cross reference this with Matthew 27:56: “Among them [at the cross] were Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.” We see that at least two of the men mentioned in Matthew 13 were definitely not siblings of Jesus (although they’re called adelphoi); they were Jesus’ cousins-sons of their mother’s sister. The Greek word Adelphoi is not only used to describe people born from the same womb. 3. It was Jerome who introduced the possibility that Christ’s brethren were actually his cousins, since in Jewish idiom cousins were also referred to as “brethren.” 4th Century. Long before Martin Luther was born. At this time it was widely understood that these Male relations were not "brothers" as we would think of them today. 4. The Protoevangelium of James written early in the second century clearly states Mary was a virgin her entire life. 5. Do you really think that none of them ever noticed in the text that male relations where referred to as Adelphoi? Is it your belief that we needed the reformers to notice this obvious word in scripture? Did the early church just miss this for 1500 years? Usually your videos are of reasonable quality but the clear bias and lack or research to show both sides of the debate on this subject was very disappointing. May the blessed mother intercede for you and bring you to the truth. God Bless.

John was the only male mentioned who dared to show up. The other disciples were in fear for their lives as the closest disciples of the one being crucified. The female relatives and followers of Jesus would likely have had less to fear from the authorities as they were seen as less of a threat and typically had the role of handling the body after death. Mary, the mother of Jesus knew as much about his special role as his disciples, and she was likely a believer in addition to being his mother. Jesus’ brothers, by contrast, did not even believe in him or his ministry and thought he was crazy. I don’t think most people can imagine the abject shame and horror that the closest family members and associates would have experienced at just knowing of, much less personally witnessing his crucifixion. This would have changed forever the dynamics within his family even if there had never been a resurrection. At that point, presumably as a believer in a Messiah now being crucified, Mary may have been more comfortable in the care of his closest and most loyal disciple than in that of her own as yet unbelieving other sons.
