From a HLTV article: Contacted by HLTV, Akros said there's "zero chance" that Joel "joel" Holmlund's ban was a false positive. The company declined to provide more details about the case. I wish they provided more details though.
BC game said in a statement that he wasnt banned due to cheating itself or using cheats in previous games, but banned when he booted up his game before B8 game and akros detected cheats
Sure you can be suspicious of the door and hold the angle but he held it at the perfect height. It's not normal to hold the perfect height for that long, you know he's behind the door but you don't know how far he is from and wether or not he's crouching. He could be at any point of the y axis behind that door you don't hold it the exact height of the player like that.
*everyone is watching the demo and trying to find something that isn't there. he has no additional information about the enemies, and I was also shocked by the impudence, but he plays with a smartaim assist, which is configured differently in different matches* *just look at how different the settings are in the bc-arcred and bc-rushb matches, in one match he always gives with the first bullet, in the other he shoots 2 bullets himself, and the software controls the body. and look at the frags at 0.25 speed, I understood everything in 5 rounds*
thats what I‘m saying… Pros play with humanized aim assistance. small tweaks to sharpen good gameplay into insane gameplay at times. Just so it looks human. Dude just got caught because he was using a public cheat which is embarrassing for the whole scene…
@davidedlund2141 Probablly bro is that bad that he can't believe someone can hit crazy shots. I know he is bad because if he was good, he would do those, and he would know you dont need cheat 😂
@@Custom2udohe was not blatant at all, he had very few moments that were even SUSPECT, imagine what a better programmed cheat with a better player could do
@@mrotss the thing that gives him away is he clears all corners when site is empty but when there are players on site he skips clearing some corners and pre-fires
@@sitaro1207 just imagine if someone had more self control than this guy, to the untrained eye you cant tell a cheater apart from a legit pro. we simply dont know how many people are cheating with peripherals in t1 cs
@@mrotss almost like its been talked about alot and i mean alot back in time when it was even easier then it is today but nobody gave a rats ass about it
Like at 8:50 ish he clearly hears the steps & not the scope, don't get me wrong not defending but it just feels a bit pointless to point it on the scoped instead of footsteps & they most likely know ct's have an awp considering they saved the round before. Like I get it he is cheating but it's still high tier cs it's not some random faceit pug, other than that great video!
Bro when he is in scope, he doesnt make any footsteps. He did before yeah and I think joel heard it, but even if he heard it, you cant really be sure where in mid he is. 2nd point of that mid peek is, that often one guy is mid left and this guy is just dry peeking mid being open for all mid without any flashes or smokes and has perfect crosshair placement. This peek was kinda weird, you would never see any kind of this peek from a legit pro player. That in dust2 players are holding mid is usual, so even when you hear footsteps you cant be sure where he is and you cant be sure if they are 2. Imagine one guy would hold from mid left with awp, this guy would be instantly dead, thats why no legit pro would dry peek mid like this.
@@jantiallver4356 I dont know, thats the only angle that opens up the way he is moving so why would he look left when he already cleared that? The right angle there is the most dangerous. Not defending but these arent conclusive evidence at all.
@@jantiallver4356 Sure he doesn't know where the dude is after he heard him jump down & before he scoped in, but he has the general information & sure if he had enhanced audio / radar it does explain how he peeks the angle, but I don't find it that weird how he peeks it tbf, it's so common for CT's to look for exists what I'm more wondering is why CT's are so open for short tbf I feel like it's a miss play from their side. I'm not defending the dude I'm just saying it feels like some part of the video it's just not concrete enough. Like look how pros hit the nastiest shots / have insane timings / look people through walls just by coincidence & luck, I feel like this is a play like that but he could def just be using radar aswell on this play but I feel like a lot of the points being made were biased even though he said he was not going to be biased that was more the point overall. About the dry peeking I would've done the same if they made steps by jumping down and stepping through mid doors while I'm on short I'd just shift up myself to get a timing, what I would be a little bit more worried about is t spawn though cause a lot of people likes saving there which I found odd he doesn't really pay attention to which I found a bit odd but idk how he plays normally but going of few of those plays overall in that game I just feel like it wasn't really obvious he was cheating it felt more biased cause we know he got banned. I was 3k elo on CSGO (don't play cs2 & sure I didn't play at a high tier like this but I don't find it that obvious tbf but I'm 99% sure he was using radar cause some timings were definitely weird for sure.
Thank you for this in-depth analysis. It's once again super exciting to see how a pro approaches such a demo. There are many things I wouldn't have considered, such as the sound of the scope, for example
Ive been waiting on ur vid on this, what I dont understand is how there is no legal action against a player who has done match fixing and blatant cheating, if there is no jail time for these types of people then what is stopping others from doing it? his accounts need to be investigated for fraud
@@Miwles what a silly reply, cheating in games is one thing but cheating in a professional environment where they are paid to play and can win money through tournaments it’s a different story, not to mention the match fixing he also did. Surely that comes under “fraud”
@@GshockBeats 100% but it doesn’t make it any better just because it’s “esports” they should make an example out of players who do this, not give them a slap on the wrist and allow them to play again a year or 2 later.
Honestly if you watch a Perfecto demo it's a lot more obvious than this, especially when under pressure. And if you see literally any Shroud's it is just hilarious.
@@vls967 implying perfecto uses cheats. Shroud cheated in his pro cs career that like a fact... i still remember his clip on mirage where he clicks his aimbot button and the crosshair teleport to enemy(not like a fast flick like 0.01ms teleport) and after he deletes the stream vod and avoids questions lol. clip is still on youtube u can find it.
Styko I have some inside info since I did the production and the observing for that CCT game they played Vs b8 where akros anti cheat banned him before he could enter the server if you want information I will msg u on socials
Hey Styko, I'm studying at an esport college and I'm near the computer almost all the time, but how could I develop myself as a player when I don't have the opportunity to get on my computer for about three days? e.g. when I go home on weekends
9:55 lookhow when he entered smoke was looking almost directly at enemy and when enemy moved to a right for second he did move croshair same position but he is in smoke he cant see a guy
I don't understand how people aren't accusing this guy of cheating. he makes plays where he seems a bit too aware such as walking through smoke or lining up your crosshair at an arbitrary angle. it seems like it's only accusable when they start spinbotting
01:56 joel also puzzlingly glances through the wall at a player going mid doors when he nears nothing and while going up short to a, before he jumps down to ct and then onto box. Blatant cheater.
Its not fair to comment someone after u know he got banned . Now when you know that he is banned for “cheating” and you ppl watching demos with x ray , not fair . But if he is not banned , all ppl would say HE IS PRO .
is it not just that he is a very good player with a tiny bit of a aim assist just a small difference like that with a good player can make a huge difference
@@juliogaltoni I watched 3 of his matches. Looks like trigger aim assist It's just a suspicion. I've been playing this game for a long time as well. High-sensitivity users have a unique aim shake, but Joel's aim shake is like the shake that occurs when the lock is released after using the aim lock.
You should campare some maps where he has crazy rating vs n00b rating. Campare how he plays and makes calls. It is very interesting he has no midground ratings. Its either way high or stupid low.
Joel had moments where he is talented as a player. But he used cheats to mess with timings for match fixing purposes. They correlate together. This is what 500 does and all those scammers
I have 9k hours and I'm lvl10 on faceit. I've probably would do the same things as joel. He walks trough smokes when he has timing. I think the plays he make are huge risk huge reward. It might win the round or lose it. Opponents might be behind the smoke with knife out or they wont be there and then he would have free info. I mean who would expect this in pro match. I dont think he cheated I think he was gonna be the next big thing. Might not get it anymore though...
He’s a crack, just look at what he achieved in csgo when he was still underaged, he also got a better kd on lan than online matches, which is surprising since pro players tend to have better stats online and worst on LAN
I think that having 9 thousand hours in one game is strong autism and you should find a friend outside and especially a female one so that you can fuck at least 10 times in your life and not be your only inspiration how to buy a new skin XD how to save money for a new skin through your parents XD 9k hours my god
For me, the most suspicious thing joel has done in that game was 7:33 play in smoke. I mean the exact mouse move he does at 7:37, I don't think I have ever seen somebody doing this kind of move (like he was checking an angle, a look around) inside of the smoke. There was no sound cue to hear, no fight has happend with ZDEKO included, tho joel seemed concered about him.
there's really no way to provide an objective commentary after a ban, the seed of doubt has been planted so decision the player makes "ohh what he do that for that's suspicious", so it's useless
Well, it is true, but we have still come to the conclusion that watching 4 demos on stream was “inconclusive”. If he cheated in any of these games, it was almost invisible to the human eye.
A known pos cheating is not surprising. Kinda makes sense in a way, cause if he was truly that skilled why would he constantly throw it all away. Good riddance
95% faceit plyers have 110% correct timing , as soon as u turn they come behind the corner or trought the smoke… i think faceit anticheat have many flaws rightnow… alot of ”good players” are cheating …
I understand your conclusion, but as you said in the start of your video you are very biased. I believe that if you watched the demo without x-ray you would say that there is nothing suspicious about what he is doing. I am not trying to defend joel, but there is no reason to add to the fire if he didn’t cheat, and I believe that it is unfair towards him if he didn’t cheat and you are drawing conclusions that are very biased. I would say that all of the things that you called out in this video are all explainable, wether it being antistrat or him having a risky play style or something else
@@seren3797 They confirmed that there was something on his pc that interrupted with the anticheat, they also confirmed that he did not use it during any games
Joel here, yeah i did cheat. SO WHAT. one night gaben goes a little crazier than usual he didnt like that not. one. bit. hahahhaah and puts a smile to my face and says "Why so serrriousss!?!!" HUAHAHAHHHAAHAHA
Unfortunately this is been going on for 25 years, most you kids and 20 something year olds were born into this and have no idea this is what your gaming's been, your favorite player have been cheating since day 1 that's a fact
just because YOU dont have the aim and gamesense for these plays doesnt mean he is cheating😂😂😂😂😂😂 stybot always 0.9 rating in tier 4 teams as a sUpPOrt PlAYeR
