I’m loving these Ohio videos. As an Ohio girl I have grown up spending every summer at Cedar Point and Put-In-Bay. Too bad the weather didn’t treat you better.

That’s Ohio weather for you! Wait 5 minutes and it will change. We use to go to the islands almost every weekend on our 32ft sailboat. It was scary on the water when storms come up. Did you stop at the longest bar at beer Barrel?
Put-In-Bay is a mess. Greed took over the Island. Too many golf carts. Stumbling sloppy drunks everywhere. Buses from Detroit. Kelley's Island is the secret best place on the lake.
For Michigan if your still there, suggest Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn Michigan, Frankenmuth Michigan a Bavarian Village, upto Traverse City Michigan then down to Holland Michigan. Can’t wait to see where you picked out.
Sorry about your weather. Early Thursday morning, August 24 we had over 7" of rain and following night terrible winds. Power outages and many trees down all the way north to Lansing, MI from here! Put in Bay hit too.

been going to the lake erie islands since i was a kid. love it there. put-in-bay (south bass island) is a party island, more for adults. not far away is kelleys island. that is a more laid back, family atmosphere, and it has pubs and restaurants. camping is good there too.
I'm always driving at least an my friends and I go and at least stay over one night. But, we haven't done it since covid! Lobster bisque is great as are wineries.
I’ve been going there since I was a kid. It’s a big party island. They just had a giant fight there with thousands of people😂. It gets wild. As a kid I remember riding the golf carts with my older brother and passing drunks passed out on the side of the road. It’s a pretty fun place. They have a few family things to do too if you have kids
since u drank alot did u go to the longest bar n the world it was cool and jello shots they give i to u n a syringe we were there n about 2016 it was cool also had chocolate wine very good
I've lived in Ohio for over 26 years and still haven't been to Put- in- Bay! It has always been on my wishlist, but I can't seem to convince Matt to go.😢
I wish the weather would have been better…did you go in the RoundHouse bar? It’s one of the oldest and there is crystal caves on the island ..so much you didn’t see…one of our favorite places to get away!

We go with my brother on his yacht every year to Put In Bay and to Cedar Point--it's a great time! The Round House is awesome for music. It's a party place for sure!
I’m across the lake in Canada and we love Lake Erie perch. One of my favourites. I sat out a tornado warning complete with sirens in Georgetown, Kentucky in an Applebees. We weren’t allowed to leave until the sirens were finished.

Same kind of storm came through there on Wed. Friends were on their boat and decided after the rough night to get a hotel room for round two last night.
