Hallmark, please rise above and take to heart what your fans are saying. Don't be like every other misleading media post with a false headline just to get attention. When Calls the Heart is one of the few shows with values. Please keep your media in the spirit in that. Lucas is an honest, caring, and upright person. He would never hurt Nathan.
Hallmark you disappoint me titling the video like this. Someone wasn't thinking. This was a great scene with these 2 guys and there is no reason to try and stir up unnecessary divisiveness again.
Very Disappointed with the Title of this video. Very misleading. The video is about the two of them moving on and is very intertaining with no mention or indication of Lucas hurting anyone.
Because Lucas is such a kind person, it would be normal for him to feel something for Nathan and the pain he feels at not being chosen by Elizabeth. Guilt? No. Compassion? Certainly. Enjoyed this scene very much. Foreshadowing their future friendship.
Hallmark Channel I thought your marketing was better than cheap click bait untrue tag line. Seriously did Lucas hurt Nathan? Lucas character doesn't deserve this decisive tag.
I loved this. Cute byplay. This side of Nathan, the more light-hearted, joking side has mostly been seen by Allie. She remembers this Nathan. So I can't wait until she gets back. But waiting for the episodes before that happens. They look very interesting.
For the record and for the lady who thought maybe Lucas was driving the car that hit Nathan: No!!!! We now know that and really , anyone watching the episide never even thought Lucas was involved!!!!..And the writers did already have most of us there in knowing that Lucas is a good guy. Anyone not there is just refusing to follow the story and denying what the writers have said. He and Elizabeth are so happy, why would Lucas even want to hurt Nathan? He certainly has nothing to worry about. Elizabeth trusts and adores Lucas. Nathan has Mei or Faith..
Why would you post such a click bait headlines. I know that conflict "sales" but enough is enough. Turn the page on this narrative. Elizabeth made her choice, with your ratings, you should know that most of us are happy about it. Focus on them and the decisions already made. Own them and stop dividing your fan base. It didn't work well ,specially for this kind of show. Let us enjoy Hope Valley again!! You have a great show and love story , if you focus on that, it might surprise you how much you get back.
Um...NO, Lucas did not "hurt" Nathan. Elizabeth chose Lucas. She went to the jail and told him she was projecting Jack onto him...that has nothing to do with Lucas.
Exactly and neither did Elizabeth hurt Nathan the way everyone else here thinks that she did in which she didn't it was never interested in Nathan in that way it was always Lucas. Elizabeth liked the fact that Nathan reminded her of Jack Throton on to him and it wouldn't be fair to neither one of them. For the record would you want to be with a man or a woman that reminded you so much of your ex or someone totally different? And on top of that he or she looks like your ex just like Nathan in a way did exspecialy in that hat and outfit .
I am so disappointed that Hallmark would post such a misleading title, especially since this isn't true in any regard. Lucas always showed love to Elizabeth and respect. He also showed kindness to Nathan. He was never mean or rude to Nathan. Nathan showed little respect or concern for Elizabeth and definitely didn't care for Lucas. So please let Elizabeth and Lucas have their love story and Nathan find love too.
Joan Jones, there are many posts that have untrue or very misleading titles. If people just read the video titles and don’t watch the videos, they may form opinions based on false information.

Misleading title - Lucas would never hurt anyone. He is all heart. Lucas has nothing to feel guilty about. Him and Elizabeth were getting on well since the start and doing things (it was at times nathan inserting himself esp in season 8) This is why i have said before that Nathan behaviour/actions is entitling and forcing his feelings onto her cos he acts like he is somehow entitled to her. He never had her at any point. The only guilt here was his part in keeping the Fort Clay secret that halted Elizabeth as her grief came up and Lucas thought she was backtracking hence he let her go selflessly and put her happiness first etc.
It was nice to see a light hearted side of Nathan, he is always so serious. I hope a strong friendship develops between Lucas and Nathan just like the actors have in real life.
Elizabeth is the one and the only person who should feel guilt. Her behavior toward both Nathan and Rosemary in season eight was shameful and unacceptable on every level. She was a complete, narcissistic manipulator on steroids. It was painful, abusive, and downright DISGUSTING.
@@emerald637 So it’s ok for Nathan to keep hidden a secret dealing with her husband Jack for years that he had a hand in his death and had to be forced to tell her. And Rosemary who thought well it wasn’t important to tell her - if that was my friend saying that and my husband death , I would of been angry and grief wounds opening again. How would Rosemary like it if Lee was killed in a mission and the person who had a hand in it didn’t tell her for years. Hurt and angry and in grief again. So please look at it from Elizabeth’s pov. Nathan was in the wrong and so was Rosemary esp Nathan here and also then forcing his feelings onto her and thinking he was entitled to her. To call Elizabeth names is unacceptable cos you like the dude she hurt but what about him and his lies and attitude. I’m guessing it’s ignored
@@l_various6931 Hallelujah!! I feel exactly the same way. Especially in respect to Rosemary. So many people bashed Elizabeth for getting upset with Rosemary, but I thought Rosemary was incentive by saying 'it wasn't IMPORTANT enough to tell her'. IMO, Rosemary owed Elizabeth an apology....just because Rosemary says a lot, doesn't mean she's right. It was one of those times people should have put themselves in Elizabeth's shoe's & then see how they'd really feel. And, I'm sorry, but no matter how many excuses are made for Nathan, there was no acceptable reason why he should have kept the secret about Jack from Elizabeth. Elizabeth has a big, caring & loving heart, but she shouldn't always have to be the forgiving one. I'm elated that she chose Lucas because they are a lot alike. Even if they get frustrated or a little upset with each other, they work things out pretty quickly....they have great communication!!
🤠 Oh my goodness, at first i thought nathan was being serious. i really thought he forgot Elizabeth's name but then he started to laugh, good one Nathan. Also it seems like elizabeth had wrote a book, just curious what the book is all about and what is it called. I am so enjoying the new season of when calls the heart, it's a great season. Can't but I can wait until next Sunday, it's going to be another exciting episode.
The guilt Nathan was referring to had to do with Elizabeth choosing Lucas over him. Lucas should feel no guilt as Elizabeth's love was not a contest....the heart wants what the heart wants and Elizabeth's heart wanted Lucas. There is nothing for him to feel guilty about. And if it was Lucas' car that hit Nathan Lucas would be honest enough to say so.
I’m pretty sure Lucas and Elizabeth were in the hot air balloon when it happened. Also Elizabeth was with Lucas even in season 8 so it was never at any point Elizabeth was with N lol
Another Hallmark clip said Nathan was hit by “a stranger coming into town”. Some have said it may have been Mei Sou’s husband. Guess we will know sooner or later. Lucas would have stopped and rendered aid if he had been the one to hit Nathan and Newton. And, Nathan is just trying agitate Lucas a little bit with the guilt remark. He knows Lucas has no reason for guilt regarding Elizabeth. Elizabeth’s heart belonged romantically to Lucas early on. Nathan recognized that, but decided to fight for her anyway. These two men are going to be the best of friends - wait and see - but I don’t think Nathan will ever stop needling Lucas. Kinda like an older brother. Lucas can take it, and hold his own with it too. 😊
Remember this is not real life its a tv show! The actors are following the scripts. I think they may have jumped the shark and are running out of ideas now.
I don’t think for one minute that “Nathan” wonders if he (“Lucas”) is being nice out of guilt! Lucas has absolutely nothing for which to be guilty and a mischievous Nathan knows it very well. C’mon Hallmark Channel video writer!🙄

Hallmark why do you continue to stir up division amongst the fans with such misleading titles? The producers, writers, showrunner, cast and crew are working so hard to bring the fanbase together in WCTH fashion, yet you continue to throw shade and stir up division. It's very unprofessional and below Hallmark standards. Please don't drag this amazing show down!
Nathan is so insecure of himself, he can’t never just speak his mind and ask for favor. He attempts to start and then stop himself. So annoying 🤨, this is why he didn’t win Elizabeth’s heart. In this scene he was about to ask Lucas to teach him how to drive a car, but he started asking then stopped himself. So insecure 😟
The thing is he never had Elizabeth so why acting like he did. He is acting like some people have said before - Entitling. Like he was entitled to her. He is the one who kept getting in between Lucas and Elizabeth at times

Does Hallmark just hate Lucas or something? This post like many others about him are sooo misleading and create divisions. They recently posted one asking if Lucas made the right choice to "leave Elizabeth and Hope Valley" as if he chose to....
Lucas was in the balloon with Elizabeth at the time of the accident. He wouldn't have done anything like that anyway. If it had happened he wouldn't have left the scene. Whoever hit Nathan was a hit and run. And it was a different Model car based on Bill's description from an eyewitness.
Agree about Nathan chip on his shoulder attitude is annoying ever since he arrive but seems like Nathan has all of sudden grown some personality as well as a moustache. Is he some kind of stand up comedian lol.
@@l_various6931 Nathan had a huge secret when he arrived in HV. Jack was killed on the assignment that Nathan was supposed to go on but he was being disciplined and had been suspended. Nathan was carrying a heavy weight of guilt concerning Elizabeth because of that. I don’t think we saw the real Nathan these past three seasons but now he’s free of the guilt and his true personality is coming out.

@@margaretyong9198 the only reason Jack went cos it was a replacement - he was replacing nathan basically in the mission as nathan opted out. So yes and Nathan knew that and hence why he came town. And he was asked a few times about Fort Clay - all he did was lie about it. So yes N was guilty for lying and having guilt about the situation. Nathan has had one personality through out until now it seems he has gained some personality since he has nothing to hide anymore. As Lucas - he was always geninue with or without a teacup (which we all use for having tea and coffee, so i dont find that funny lo) as for a gambling - dont see it but i did Lee and Bill playing cards and gambling as both lost the mayor race to Hickam in the saloon. So shall i call them gamblers now lol
I liked the scene with L&N and hopefully they eventually become friends but the scenes between L&E I love. The type of scenes are very different so there’s no comparison.
