Before my conversion 16 years ago in Medjugorje, I went through the same line of thinking that Catholics bowed down to Mary, which should be reserved only for God and that would be considered idolatry. I even fought tooth and nail with the pilgrimage group leader, saying that the Brown Scapular was superstitious. I thought about leaving the Catholic Church for Protestants due to the strictness of teaching on divorce. I was completely transformed when the Blessed Mother entered my hotel room in Medjugorje. We then stopped by Paris on our way home, and she revealed to me that she was a Queen of Heaven and Earth, seeing her crown in the sky. I was a lukewarm Catholic, so I would not have known that title. I am not a theologian, but common sense tells me that God had to make an exception for Mary since Jesus could not reside in a sinful womb. Jesus had to be fed by our Blessed Mother, so her milk and bloodstream had to be pure.

I pray for Ireland. Many in Ireland are turning away from Christ Jesus the Only Hope of the World (John 3:16) and they are falling to atheism and paganism and all sorts of stuff which leads to hell. @@taylorrowe2002 I will keep you in my prayers. Thanks for sharing. Fear not! The Lord loves you and wants you to love Him. You desire the graces to love Him well, and He will grant you them. Any fear comes not from Him! Practically, I recommend too watching videos from more traditional Catholic sources because they never seem to be very tolerant and Protestant errors. I find sometimes some other sources may be a bit ambiguous which may lead to those types of confusions. I also recommend attending the Traditional Latin Mass if there’s one near you. @@taylorrowe2002 to clarify, I only brought up the TLM when referring to the preaching itself of priests and catechesis in TLM communities have (in general) a way smaller chance of being erroneous teaching on Catholicism, especially in regards to topics with Protestantism. But of course I mean in general, there are without a doubt NO communities that preach the truth on this as well. In regards to the NO itself, the TLM and the NO are intrinsically both infinitely powerful, as they are both valid ways to celebrate the Mass. The debate boils down to mainly the extrinsic aspect of both Masses, especially their rubrics. The Missals of the NO are widely more ambiguous which leaves a lot more space for a free-for-all game (no coincidence why we’ve seen clown Masses and weed Masses). That’s an example, I really recommend watching a RU-vidr named The Traditional Thomist. He has a playlist explaining the problem with the rubrics especially of the Novus Ordo. About validity, the truth is that there is more to it than that. A Protestant Baptism is valid if under the Trinitarian formula, but I’m not going to be baptized there, which shows that there is a lot more to it than that. This is where discussing the rubrics and mostly extrinsic aspects of both forms of the Mass is important. And all these discussions should be done out of charity, of course, because there is no point of them other than that. The TLM, many believe, is just a better representation of what the Mass is in its material aspect. This is ultimately the best for us because here we are incarnate beings, we are embodied souls. On a sidenote, with your case specifically, if you look at the history of many of the prayers and other parts of the rubrics of the NO, you will find that they have a lot of Protestant origin. When the NO first began, traditional Lutherans said that it looked like their services. When we are having doubts and confusions concerning Protestantism, I think that attending the TLM would be helpful to that because the history of it and the prayers and rubrics are %100 Catholic, and what’s important here is that they are SO different to Protestant services, they are so “set apart” (that is the definition of “sacred”) from the world and other religions that it highlights the treasure of being a Catholic. Jesus as fully man His mother is Mary. But Jesus as God He doesn't have a mother. My goodness why is it hard for you to understand? You are all si blinded. Mary did not remain a virgin she has other sons. Mary has original sin. For ALL have sinned.
