I once watched Harikrishna commentating a match. He is such a nice, humble, kind, and likable guy. Really enjoyed his attitude and manner.

I think because Naka can then take the pawn and after the bishops takes he can play Nc5 - Nd3 and black has enough counterplay.

Its not clear to me that’s a winning idea because the black rook will take the white with rd2, and then it will clear the pawn on b2 with rb2 immediately, and the black king will move to kf7 and attack the horse at d8? It still seems anybody’s game, but the two black pawns at the left seem very threatening after this in terms of becoming queens too.

Hikaru has burnt bridges with lot of his opponents lol . He disrespected harikrishna,a former top10er once on his stream. That is why eric hansen said hikaru is one of the most hated chess players. You can see that at the handshakes . Hope harikrishna is okay . Hikaru tested positive after that day

I don't think this was disrespecting Pentala but more of respecting Vidit. We have seen the result of the past 3 years. If we will simply say Pentala is superior because he was in the top ten for one month at the age of 31, that would be an overstatement. Either way, Hikaru would know much more about chess understanding than both of us.

@@anon_for_gossip2613 harikrishna's peak rating is more than 40 pounts higher than vidit 's . Hari actually came to close to winning a super tournament in China and last 3 years ?. Vidit just crossed hari as number 2 by few points . Hari has been number for a decade and actually finished on teh podium at tata steel rapid india whereas vidit got destroyed by kids at tata steel this year . Hikaru is petty amd thinks rapport isn't that good either

@@anon_for_gossip2613 first of all pentala is his surname and his peak is 23rd highest in history and a top 10 er and has been india number for a decade . Talking to me when vidit becomes even close to that and one month ?.are you mad ?. He was close to 2760 and 2770 for couple of years
