Zach Johnson, the “Millennial Farmer” is a 5th-generation farmer who’s spent his life growing, working, and learning on his family’s farm. His wit and dry sense of humor appeal to children and adults alike. A product of the millennial generation, his appreciation of new technology blends with his old-fashioned work ethic, and he offers a unique ability to deliver his message in a way that resonates with lifelong farmers as well as those with no knowledge of agriculture.
With growing consumer awareness about where their food comes from, Zach has identified the need for an independent voice from the front lines of agriculture. Zach actively promotes agriculture by sharing his day-to-day experiences in the agriculture world while providing farmer-to-farmer education to help facilitate a collaborative conversation between farmers and the public.

I'm prefacing this with "I have no idea"... Were the cold shed doors open during the storm? If open, I can see the open ended shed acting like a big parachute, catching all the wind's force, and blowing itself apart. I freely admit I have no idea if having the doors closed would have saved the shed.
@mammutMK2
@mammutMK2 Год назад
The tractor that had the planter attached was standing outside the shed, didn't fit fully in. But I think too it wouldn't have made much difference as it looks like it just collapsed and got pushed over from the side. When the wind would have lifted it up it would have looked different. In a tornado you actually should open you windows to get equal air pressure to prevent you roof popping up. In a storm we had all of our wire reinforced windows cracked on the shop

I think this would be a great year for a whole bunch of demo units to be featured on the farm. And a building sponsor. Sucup, Brock, FS,cleary ... Who wants the aid space. Don't let a crisis go to waste. Start billboard farming 👍 Seriously, Glad everyone made it through. Clean up is only time and work. Keep a positive attitude and your kids will remember this that way. God bless

I’ve been watching your channel for a few years now, I see how hard you and your dad work as well as Becky behind the senses, it’s heart breaking to see what has happened to you guys, but also really great to see you have already started the cleanup/rebuild and are all in good spirits, I’m very glad no one was injured and you and your beautiful young family are all safe. I have previously purchased a shirt from your range and will be buying 2 maybe 3 more to support you guys, I know it’s not much but we all buy something it will help in some way. Love your channel and content, please keep up the updates when you can mate. Cheers from AUS 🇦🇺

I've been back and forth between Wahpeton, ND and Merrill, Ia the last few days with tanker trailer. You can see exactly just before Watertown, SD where those high winds went through. Just bent over and tore the crap out of some big signs on I29. Came down Hwy 75 today and saw a whole line of high line wires and poles bent over for about a good 2 miles west of Correll. Lots of damage in just certain spots and a whole lot of new ponds created in the fields. I hear ya about that Zach.
