You said they are the "standard" .....for INCOMPETENCE. As I said, I wouldn't send them a pile of my dung to grade...then again, maybe I will. Face it....their service is SHIT. There is NO EXCUSE for losing someone's card....PERIOD. The wait times now are outrageous.
I have a lot of fears about this grading procedure. Lost is number 1 and the Psa graders swapping out cards for a better grading of the senders that have no clue what their card is graded in first place. U know damn well these psa graders are card collectors and got a lot of cards graded and swap them out when they get a better graded card of their own they see. And the thing is u can’t tell or will never know unless cards start putting serial numbers on cards.
Followed this story and will hopefully see it to a satisfactory conclusion. PSA is the standard - and every company makes mistakes and with their volume I'm sure they have made a few. However, the true test of a company is do they stand behind what they do and make it right for their mistakes. Seems like the answer here and from my experiences the answer is "Yes". I have to chuckle though at this whole situation to be frank - this is supposed to be enjoyable and a hobby, and if this stuff is making you as stressed out as you seem, it might be time to find a different way to relax. After all, it's an Allen Iverson RC, and "...We're talking about practice man, not a game". LOL. Good luck my man. Dave
Haha, you're so right. Lol. I'm actually just a really good actor. 😂 Actually I do have another very relaxing hobby that I'll probably put some videos on soon. But I agree, they have a lot of submissions and it definitely happens. It just sucks that it happened to me!
Yeah, especially now with this little smudge on it. I'm tempted to crack it and remove the coating and try again. But I just don't know. It's slightly off-centered so I don't know if it's worth it.
I don't know whether my anticipation level was higher for the end of this saga or for Avengers Endgame. The drama and plot twists have been about the same.
It is up to the shipper whether or not a signature is required and that would require a extra fee charged to the shipper which I'm sure they would pass on to you.Ups will never ask for a signature on a residential delivery unless you live in a high risk delivery area or the driver doesn't trust you. I thought USPS handled all of the PSA shipping. I personally have never seen a PSA shipment come through UPS. Good luck on your card and hopefully you don't receive a 1981 Topps Allen Ripley PSA 7 instead.
Lol. So far all of my orders from PSA have come UPS. Everyone of them states "signature required," but they have never asked me and always left it on my porch.
@@dannyshobbies6784 Interesting, I've been driving for them for 27 yrs. and what that driver is doing is dead wrong. If found out he'll be suspended or fired and rightfully so. Alot of new drivers will cut corners to please management or get off the clock earlier. If you track one of the labels I'm sure it will say you signed for it with your last name as who signed for it. Just watch, next week I'll see a PSA box.
@@JohnJohn-gs8md When my Jordan sticker was returned, I waited all day to make sure I was there. The driver went right past my house and I looked on the app to see if anything changed at it said "undeliverable." I jumped in my car and luckily tracked her down. Got my box. The next one was the same driver who waited for me to open the door about 10 feet away because of the virus, then said she'd sign for me. The next one was left on my porch all day because I was at work. Frustrating. I never reported it though.
@@dannyshobbies6784 The time she made contact with you and signed for you is current protocol, because of the virus. Just leaving on your porch without contact is wrong. I don't want to see her get in trouble but if you said you never received the package and it got looked into at the least she is suspended and paying for some cards or worst fired. Undeliverable, who knows on that one. I'm just a collector not a reseller or investor and not a believer in grading but do like the videos of yours I've seen.
Doesn't anybody get the feeling they can just switch your cards with a lower quality one on site? I feel like the grading industry is very flawed and biased. We need reputable, walk in grading stores at this point. People would make appointments and they'd be booked to the gills but it'd still be worth it to go in person. for me anyways!
Use the ups app you can require a signature for release. I use it all the time for certain packages. By the way great info I hope your problem is solved!
I know that it probably doesn't help the psyche given what you have gone through but the service level you are going to have to send that MJ rookie card in you will get it back in under a week including shipping times. Anecdotally have been told that it gets much better internal treatment than say a Regular / Economy / Bulk order as well.
@@dannyshobbies6784 given prices keep going up 10% a week, you should do one soon! MJ's cards are on fire right now. I have about 150 of his junk wax era (89 - 93) cards sitting in 6 different submissions that I might get upcharged for given where prices have moved....
Allen iverson....PSA talking bout practice? You talking bout practice? U not talking bout da game tho you talking bout practice 🤣🤣🤣best video all time A.I
@@dannyshobbies6784 it would do wonders for your channel though. A ton of new subscribers and views! Especially if you do updates and have the 1986 Fleer Jordan in the thumbnail of each video. 👍
But they shouldn't leave it if it says signature required. PSA always requires signature for delivery. Somebody from UPS told me that they shouldn't be leaving those if they require signature.
@@dannyshobbies6784 they even leave it in the rain, lol. The mailman has the powers of the signature, much like (powers of attorney) that places like PSA, PWCC, ect grant them. Your submissions are put into a locked room that the mailmen have the key to, they just scan all the packages in that have signature requirements leave the room and lock it back up, just like a safety deposit box but bigger. Covid19 has given mailmen that same power by the US Government, so they just scan and leave it at the door.
PSA never gives compensation they do the opposite and up charge. I even began emailing the psa president and vice president. Eventually got ahold of David Steinberger who promised to make things right but 6 months later he lied and did not grade my cards. A year later I got my cards back damaged by psa with no signature and left on door step. Call vp david 415 819 6071. I feel your pain brother. I disputed the charges with Visa and at least got my money back
Crazy story...I’ll be going crazy...just gave you a sub...gonna check out your library...lol I’m honestly over Grading...lol great vid. I got content myself check it out if you got time🤙🏽🥃
Thats what happens when you're too greedy to step back and take a breath, and STOP ACCEPTING SUBS UNTIL YOU CAN COMPLETE THEM CORRECTLY, and on time :)
PSA should compensate you for this. Like you shouldn’t have had to go through all this trouble and dealt with all this stress just to fix a mistake that THEY made. Its BS. A decent company would give you something in return I.e. some free card gradings. Not just send you back your card and be done with it.
