As a Nuggets fan I am not blaming Westbrook the entire 2nd unit looked terrible. Murray and Porter Jr. looked terrible. Gordon got cooked by SGA the only people who played well was CB and Jokic. CB also needs to contribute more offensively. They really are being carried by Jokic if he seriously gets them to the finals this year this would be a GOATED run
Clearly nobody watched the warriors play the last 3 years. Klay was plenty open on the warriors he is very streaky everyone will be mad when he goes into his annual cold streak
@@madworldwithdjit’s not about if he was open or not is about what he had to do to be open and the amount of energy he had do exert has a 2nd option. You can’t ask klay at this stage to come off of screen action every play and defend as well. That’s the difference. He will have plays that he will have to run but he has 2 of the best ISO players that will take most of the offensive baggage and most times than not he will be open without even moving. No one is discrediting the warriors but I will not act like that Fanbase did not tear the man down for 1 bad game at the end of the season like he did not average 18ppg on 39% from 3. He will have shooting slumps ? Sure, but he has 2 guys that can cover for that. Who covered klay’s bad nights last year ? Steph all alone ? Draymond that ends most games on single digits scoring ? There’s more to this than “klay shot 0/10 in an elimination game and the warriors were bad because of him”.
So this is what the NBA has turned into. A catch and shoot 3s contest. If last year's two finalists all they do is shoot 3s, this year will be very unattractive.
OKC, skipped over by the NBA big wigs for the Christmas Day game they deserved to show off in. They left out one the most exciting teams who deserved to play on this special day even though they proved to be one of the best last year. Bravo NBA decision makers!

No it wasn't, Wenby was better than Chet on an individual level, OKC doing better than the spurs was because OKC had a build a solid core lead by an MVP caliber player in SGA, the Spurs just recently finished tanking
Everybody doesn’t realize that Klay isn’t sprinting for the whole shot clock to get a shot. That ish is tiring and if he can get open shots without having to work half as hard as he did on the warriors then I’d bet he’s going to be shooting around 50% from 3 this year.

Dallas are the Elite team out west along with OKC ..but OKC will not be able to stop Luka and Kyrie when it matters so I got Dallas as the favorites out west again.

They may not be able to win the chip but even when they lose they still look like the best players in the world.... That's the difference. He doesn't look the same player without the talent around him. His scoring dropped by a ton in the Olympics. His assists are no longer double digits without food team mates. He can't dribble so he will always need a ton of help
