Godfrey’s kids really got the ass end of things. Morgott was banished because he was weak, Mogh was only used to be a catalyst for Miquella and Godwyn was annihilated immediately.
Morgott was banished to the underground because he was omenkin, the same as mogh. Godwyn single handedly won the war against the dragons and was loved by everyone, including the dragons he defeated.
You’re right for the most part except for the fact morgot was far from weak ; if we really think about it we had to fight him 3 times the most out of any legacy boss in the game not to mentioned despite being a very skilled user at holy incantations/ weapons his actual strength was drawn from his cursed blood that he had sealed away in his blade , it’s not far-fetched to say we fought him only at 70-80 percent before we got him at his second phase

@@Murasane if morgott wasn’t half as self loathing as he was he probably could have had a chance at being a candidate for an empyrean since despite being omen born nobody in his lineage nor between radagons other children besides miquella had such a powerful affinity for golden order incantations/ weapons ; bro sealed a good portion of his own strength yet was summoning golden knives/ spears like they were nothing as Margit the fell omen.
There is one bit of lore implication that bugs me a little bit. If Radahn WANTED to be Miquella’s consort, why did he halt the movement of the stars? Miquella is an Empyrean, has always been. Ranni, Miquella and Malenia were the Empyreans chosen to succeed Marika. Radahn had to have known this, yet to halt the movement of his fate feels…strange, somehow. There was no way Radahn didn’t know the consequences of halting the movement of the stars. Somehow, my understanding is that this “Promise” is not promise in the traditional sense, but it is “promised” as in “prophesized”. That some other higher power (perhaps Miquella himself?) MADE Radahn make that promise, and perhaps halting the movement of the stars was his way of not wanting to become the Promised Consort.
Most likely, what happened was that Miquella didn't know that his powers of charm were always on, so he naively believed that everyone liked him for him and not because of his powers. TBH, I don't think that his curse is just being physically young forever, but mentally as well. His naivety reminds me of when little kids say that they'll marry their parents when they're older, not really understanding what it actually means. Radahn must have broken out of his charmed state once he got a Great Rune like us, and realized that his promise to Miquella was foolish. He stopped the Stars after realizing that nothing else would stop Miquella's plan. Malenia herself was supposed to pick him up, but his stopping the stars prevented their plans from happening. She would wage war on him with the purpose of killing him and continuing the flow of stars, which was plan B. Mogh was used and discard like a tool mainly because he LOOKED evil. If you see him as a kid, you don't think "good honorable guy," you think, "evil demon guy." Miquella used him to gain access to the Scadulands and utilized his body to bring back his one true love, but it's a love that's unrequited from Radahn. He's only his little brother to him.
I have a firm belief that Miquella wasn’t inside of the cocoon,Godwyn was.We know that people used to wash up on the land of shadow after death,so we know the land of shadow has a connection to death.Also,Miquella leaves crosses around the land of shadow which he says he leaves his divested flesh at so he can become a pure and radiant being.So why would his body be inside the cocoon?also,needle knight Leda refers to the arm as “the withered arm” but not “kindly Miquella’s withered arm”.Also it would make sense for a Prince of death to be the one to allow Miquella into the realm of shadow,a place connected closely to death.Mohg also feeds the cocoon blood as mentioned which could be a way for Miquella to Give godwyn a true body again through Mohgs blood magic

He grows this tree, using his own blood, for years, fuse his body to it, in an attempt to abscond his own flesh, removing himself from the two fingers and greater will and travel to the land of shadows. So where does Mohg come into play here? Miquella failed, as usual, to travel to the lands of shadows. It is possible that Mohg was charmed and Miquella telepathically told him to come rip him out of the tree. However it seems more likely that Mohg took Miquella because he needed a Empyrean to become a god and lord. Let me say this again. Mohg took Miquella for his own selfish reasons uncharmed. When he took him back to his dynasty and touched Miquella he then became charmed. He then sacrificed the blood of the Albinauric so that Miquella could travel to the land of shadows. The Albinuric in his lands are red because they were fused together with Mohg's blood because Mohg is part Numen. Mohg has control of blood and manipulated it to create the right conditions to travel to the land of shadows. I honestly don't believe Miquella particularly plans any of his own actions too thoughtfully. His needle, the eclipse project, his consort proposal to Radahn, his great rune, the Haligtree, Mohg, becoming a god. It all seems so child like and not well planned. I think Mohg was just a convenient coincidence to Miquella's plan. He also had several different bodies to stuff Radahns soul into. The Haligtree is proof that he tried to do it without Mohg involved at all. Nobody makes a plan to fail in the first place.
Because it encourages you to piece together the story yourself, and discover new things. This ties into Elden Ring’s design philosophy of exploration and inquisitiveness.
Y'all need to relearn what words mean. Radahn was not charmed. Radahn made the promise to Miquella. *That's what the word "promised" means.* Miquella did indeed overestimate his sister's strength... But just like with curing Godwyn and her through Fundamentalism... Or unalloyed gold... Or his Heiligtree... And even repeating his mother's exact same mistakes but expecting a different outcome... Miquella is a tale of repeated failure and tragic.
I think why people are saying charmed is due to Miquelle's ability to have people love him against their will. He did charm Mogh though and it is questionable with Radahn but it did state as a promise.
You need to understand what sentences mean. Miquella is known to go against people's will. We do not know if radahn agreed to be his consort. Miquella said that becoming his consort is the reward for honouring the vow, not the vow itself. You're also ignoring the fact that he sent malenia to KILL him. Why tf would he need to be murdered as part of the plan?
@@simon-peterwilliamson2412 that's the point. It seems to be that Radahn refused and Miquella was forced to send Mallenia in order to kill him. Anyway, if Radahn had agreed he would have become that consort without a single battle, wouldn't he?
