The Narcissist loves you for as long as you're useful to them. My Ex would often say "You have no idea how much I love you", especially when I had money, and cooked and cleaned for him, ran his errands for him and slept with him, then if I couldn't answer my phone straight away, he'd text me saying we were done. That's how much he loved me. 🍒
My ex just liked to "look" like he loves me. Behind closed door, he enjoyed doing things that destroy me as a person. It took many youtube watching to realize he can never love anyone. Thank you, Ben, for being part of my healing journey.
The truth is the narcissist NEVER loved you. If they truly had loved you they would have waited for you to get married on your own terms not theirs. They would not have bulldozed the relationship from the beginning.
