I think naturally it makes a shoe less special almost anytime they re-release them but no doubt they less special when the re-release has higher stock numbers. There are some exceptions but not many
No Mike Rich , re-retroing “limited “ or “PEs” in GR form doesn’t bother me. I was collecting P.E.s in late 80s as teenager MSG has store inside of Madison Square Garden, called Cosby, sporting goods where players from opposing teams & Knicks , like they would have P.E.s for sale. Flint colorblocking is hard to eff up. No more Xlll behind tag for any 13s anymore. None of the OG‘s had tag and they started with the playoff 13 no more behind the tag.,
No sir, jb didn't drop the ball on these, mainly because I know the Bins are nearly impossible to get. Plus they're too old to wear. This is the closest to the Bins which is a musf cop for me. I call em the Alternate Bins.
Yes - it does take away the from the og’s being special. I was always a HUGE fan of yellow shoes - and most were limited…had my grails on ice for years…my ‘99 Iowa Dunks and my ‘05 Lightning 4s…waited for the”right time” to wear such exclusive shoes so long that Nike re-released them both a few years back and they bricked so bad. Killed it a bit for me cause now that respect for the classics are gone. Same thing with the Jordan Fear series…

They always do a great job on 13s..they are ok I don’t need them..plus high tops are brutal in Midwest summer I’m rocking lows..and black toe 14s are a must double up..my favorite shoe this year
I love 13s but it’s like JB don’t put much effort into releasing doper colorways for that silhouette. Plus a lot of people don’t really care for 13s like that foreal so they just sit, just like how this colorway is.

Regarding the Bin 13 question, personally I'm a fan of sneakers based on the design itself. I don't care who else got em as long as I got em. However what I notice is alot of people buy shoe's an other things to be envied! Often that audience is pist if they have something exclusive and they bring it back. More people got it and it loses it's clout. I think that's corny but to each's own I guess

I hope they don’t drop the bin 13s because I have them and it wouldn’t make them as special when I rock them. I’d rather them just give other models the bin treatment or do completely new bin colorways.

The narrative needs to change. A shoe should never be judged on whether it sold out or “sat”. I hate that reselling has forever changed the sneaker game.
