100% I totally agree, i'm glad you do to. Like you said, and i'm glad you pointed it out, all the little details they added and fixed does show that they really care, and truly "know" their game and audience. The problem is like you said, there are these different problems, and while all the problems suck, some are definitely more important to fix then others.

Thats honestly awesome if thats the biggest problem, if I felt that it was I really wouldnt have any complaints. Are you on console or PC if you don't mind me asking, it could be a good bit different for the 2.

That's definitely a fair point, I was under the impression that all maps/dlcs were eventually included once they are released, but then they changed it and said that we will have to end up paying for each dlc map separately. Obviously I hope that I'm wrong lol

You have a fair point and you might be right about removing the save button, I guess my main point was, or I tried to make, was that the bugs and crashes are more important to fix then the exploits, which are still important, just not as much as bugs and crashes in my opinion. And they absolutely have been prioritizing exploits over bugs and crashing, it's in the patch notes. I Suppose it might be the other way around for someone who plays multiplayer more than singleplayer.

Ok, I will start by saying this. I am enjoying the graphics of the game and most of the game play. As of today, 1/6/24. There is still a save issues on single-player mode. Yes, taking away the save button might have been a good move but it didn't fix the problem. And sorry, as some was inclined to say in a different post on here. I do not agree that Ark is mainly a pvp game. Just as many people like to play pve or single player.

Another good point, also great to hear it's worth it. I think it makes sense that a new player has less problems with the bugs and everything else than a returning player would. I'm tempted to say that it is worth it for a new player, and not yet worth it for a returning player, but then there is the argument that the new player could just player ark survival evolved for cheaper, and with 100's of hours of more content with more maps/creatures and everything else. But at the end of the day, it's worth it to you, and that's what matters!

hey longtime ark player with over 4k hours, Cheaters were rare because they would be banned damn near instantly offical servers are a chaotic mess with snailgames own people playing on it, which if you raid them they ban you.. Also these bugs litterly make the game unplayable at times, theyve been in the game for over 7 years. I guarantee if you ask anyone who cheats on ark they'll tell you "well the shits so damn buggy its near impossible to get my damn gun to reload or for shit to not just disappear" ive lost count of how many of my knocked out creatures phase into oblivion or how fucking awful the desync still is. Its been 7 years paying for a "remastered game" shouldnt warrant any bugs (Oh i forgot to add unoffical servers took care of cheaters immediately otherwise they would die off)

I think the reply to your comment by the other user is interesting, you both bring up some fair points. I definitely have to disagree that ark is a pvp game, because it has pvp, and probably majority of total players play pvp (the numbers might be closer than you think as far as pvp-pve-singleplayer) that doesn't mean the updates and fixes should prioritize exploits. Exploits effect multiplayer, mainly pvp, not too much of an effect on pve, and no effect at all on singleplayer. On the other hand, crashes and bugs effect EVERYONE no matter how they play which is my reasoning as to why they should prioritize fixing those before exploits. In the end, all sjould be fixed with it being a remaster of a 7+ year old game.

@@isaacsimmshill7539 Crossplay is live on all consoles with pc too so yes everyone can play with everyone even with mods

@@isaacsimmshill7539 I think it’s only cross play between consoles, pc can’t play with ps5 or Xbox but ps5 and Xbox can play together. I could be wrong but that is what I read.

I think its the high demand that lead them, how often have i i catched myself talking with my best friend about ark beeing so much better if it werent for the bugs and lags and all.. Ark 2 on the other hand is supposed to be an Storygame and most of the Ark players are more invested in pvp sooo yeah to seal most of the wants

ark 2 is cained to be a "souls like game" not the ark we know and love

I think thats a good reasoning to have in general for this type of game, but for a remaster of an almost decade old game, the standards should be higher. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it needs to at least be playable (reasonably) for the majority of players, and at the time of the video, it was not.
