Hey dzeef, fluffal has been my favourite deck for ages and I just figured out a sweet combo. So first u activate foolish burial goods, sending toy vender, then adding dolphin or wings if u have penguin next summon penguin then u get vender then discard the wings then link off the dolphin into Clara & rooshka. Also I play a package of 3 shaddoll fusion, 1 beast and 1 dragon so wings can get in grave u can draw then construct can send dragon to get a spell/trap pop
Actually yeah, I didn't consider Goods sending Toy Vendor to search Dolphin. That's a really cool combo and I'm going to try and find space for it! Thanks :)
Dzeeff, I would strongly recommend 3 Foolish Burial Goods. Think about it this way, FBG is the equivalent of Salamangreat Circle -- you play 3 Rotas, always. It also sets up Dolphin plays easier. If you want to make space in the Extra Deck, I would recommend taking out Sheep, Wolf and Nightmary, as well as cutting 1 Tiger (it should only pop up once since you only play 1 sabres) Personally I would only play 2 sabretooth, 3 whale, but that's up to you, I'm experimenting around with VFD so that explains the 3 whale. You should also consider 3 penguin, even if you don't consider playing Bahamut Shark. It is the best fluffal to fuse with off of Scythe, and the draw 2 discard 1 in general can fix some bad hands. If you play a more combo heavy going 1st variant, then I would strongly recommend 3 penguin. An idea you might want to give a try, or at least side deck, is 1 Dagda, 1 Artifact Scythe. Literally get 2 bodies on the field, make Dagda, activate something (or wait for your opponent to activate something), then use Edge Imp Scythe to make Whale on your opponent's turn, now you have a nontargeting pop, and lock your opponent out of the extra deck with some big bodies on the field. The goal is to go first but conserve your resources to OTK the next turn. It is relatively easy to make, and unlike a more combo heavy variant that tries to turbo out VFD, you don't have to worry about Nibiru as much.
I’ve been loving the new fluffal support we got in rise of the duelist. Dolphin extends your combos and Cruel Whale lets you end on true king of all calamities!
Man, I wish I could afford Forbidden Droplets for my Crusadia OTK deck. Crusadias might be one of the only OTK decks that RELY on your opponent having a board, which makes looking for power blind second cards hard as most of them either dismantle their board (Lightning Storm, Evenly Matched, even Kaiju Slumber to a degree if you low roll your hand) or flat out say "no OTKing" (Dark Ruler). If anybody has any good suggestions on a budget I'm all ears, but Droplets just seem soooo good in the deck - any two Crusadias is a linked Equimax so minus-ing isn't a hard price to pay, and not just keeping the monsters on field but halving their attack is just icing on the cake.
Not going to lie, this might make me get back into Yugioh. I quit around the time Pendulums went nuts and Links came out. Just lost my interest. One of the key reasons why I quit was because Fluffals never got Patchwork and support. I adored the deck but was so sick of being mediocre. This makes me want to play again so badly. I'm 32, I've got two young children. Now might be a good time to teach them to play and I'll have a deck that I love. Excellent video!
I play a going first variant but fluffal is 100% rogue contender. But I like playing calamity, with patchwork it's a one card calamity if U at have any fluffal.
Madolches basically have the same game plan but many more times than one I playtest I brick or can"t play more than one interruption. Fflufflals certainly can do a little bit more because of toy vendor and frightfur patchwork and push into breaking a board. With things like Imperm and Droplets I think it's a good contender for the current meta game. I wish Konami would do what they did to Prank-kids, giving them with Link 1. I'm not sure with what will be the effect though. With the ETCO support although it is nice but it is simply not enough to make Dolches consistent enough and I hate how feast or famine the deck is.
I am thinking of putting super poly in my build by removing a tiger, I never even use the second tiger and never knew why it was put in there in the first place. I could put in a starving venom or a dragostapelia in preparation for Dragun.
Hey Doug! I've been a Fluffal player since about 2017 when I was in 8th grade and have an extensive amount of deck profiles on my Yu-Gi-Oh! channel (not this one) for the deck, like I would say I'm pretty try-hard about this strategy despite not using it outside of locals when I'm in between decks I'm looking to play/getting the cards for. May I recommend that, instead of Nightmary (who, in my opinion, is pretty bad, said other channel has a whole 10 minute rant about it when it was revealed) you play a single copy of True King of All Calamities? With the double Whale, who's level 9, it allows Fluffal to have a better first-turn board than before if an opponent forces you to go first! I think the best board I've made going first in terms of monsters was a Cross-Sheep, Calamities, and 3-material Sabre-Tooth! All you need to make at least the Calamities though is two fusion summons, so it's a pretty reliable strategy imo!
Great deck profile. I picked up some copies of those new cards on your recommendation. Its nice to see all the support for an archetype that deserves some love
My roommate is playing a going first variant and frankly his experience with it so far has been that it's a contender for #3 in the format behind Infernoble Knights and Dogmatika
In my list I am playing 3 shaddol fusion 1 beast and 1 dragon to get a draw a spell trap pop and wings in grave plus construct can out some weird cards. But I’m not sure if I should cut those 5 cards and add 3 water if millions, 1 more foolish burial goods so I have 3 and 1 other card like instant fusion, mind control, Raigeki, the 3rd nibiru or pankratips
Oh no an fluffal deck without Calamities in it. Mkohl40 is gonna lose is mind. In all honesty I really like this build and didn't think about droplet in it. Its going in now. Also two questions no fluffal sheep or Frightfur daredevil? I've always played them and just wanted your opinion on them.
Hey Doug just a few questions. Why 3 sabertooth and why no foolish burial goods? Wouldn't you rather play VFD in the extra for cases where you're forced to play first? Plus goods is basically Rota
Hey Dzeeff. Don't you like the new spell "Frightfur Repair"? It's another free special summon and you can send it with the Whale. Plus if you open it there are tons of ways to discard it
I have been playing the deck very similar to your build but I have been using the edgeimp cotteneater and the fluffal angel as an extender for my plays to play around and through hand traps and was just asking on your thoughts
Chimera has a really hard summoning condition and it's effect isn't worth it, instead of it sheep is just better it also prevents effect during attack and floats, Chimera just summons a useless monster with reduced stats, also yh uses two frightfurs.
@@w925gaming6 because the Player who went first will most likely have a board full of interruptions and negates set up that you have to try and play through during that second turn which you might not be able too.
surprised you arent playing Frightfur Repair as a 1 of - its very powerful seeing as Whale can mill it and you can get it into the Grave very easily from Penguin and Toy Vendor

I own one lightning storm And a few cards from ignition assault ask and I can tell you which ones. I don't really want to chase any staples yet (Im waiting for the tin of lost memories to see if any r in there) But I can order some shaddol schisms What do you think? The first card activated is chain link 1, the second activated in response of it is chain link 2. The chain resolves the other way around tho. So the first effect that resolves is chain link 2 and chain link 1 resolves after that.
Once you get the hang of it it’s pretty logical. Example: you activate a card that searches a card from deck (chain link 1), as a RESPONSE, your opponent activates Ash Blossom by discarding it (chain link 2), and as YOUR response, you activate Called by the grave (chain link 3). Logically, [chain link 3 (Called by)] resolves first, negating the effect of [chain link 2 (Ash)], and so [chain link 1] resolves since is no longer being negated by Ash. Also, take a look at Problem Solving Card Text. Since, to understand what is being negated and what not, you need to understand [condition]:[cost];[effect].
Okay so I know i'm a bit late to this but, did you know you could add Dagda and one scythe tot his and use the pop from Whale to scythe your opp when you go first? i used this same build plus the bahamut shark/toad and 10/10 matches against various decks was able to resolve scythe and make it to turn 2 otk, and 8/10 i was even able to extend the 1st turn into a board of hope harbinger, toad, and scythe to where opp just scooped/passed. feedback and opinions would be appreciated ty.
Would you side daredevil? Or what would you suggest cutting to fit daredevil in your extra deck. I'm just worried about needing to do the little burn for the win.
The point of the deck is to get as much monsters as possible and to get polymerization of course. It is really fun and requires nice amount of skill to play and can be cheap. Just read all cards and find some replays on RU-vid and that's it
this exact deck - fluffals are a very budget friendly deck, and even the staples Doug used in this profile (Imperm and Droplet) can be swapped out for some much cheaper budget options to make it clear just how cheap this deck is, Kraken is the most expensive card in the deck at £10 a copy - the rest of the deck will cost maybe £30 at max (that is if youre not fussed about raritys)
Sonny Liverod-Griffin hey I actually have a question, would you recommend this game as a hobby to get into now? Is it too expensive? What decks would you overall recommend that arent too costy but win games more than lose?
@@abuhassan8849 how can he show a card he doesn't have? That's why he just put a dummy card down, and then overlayed the image of the proper card on top.
