This was all explained in the movie. Venom is part of a multi dimensional symbiote "hive mind" THAT SHARES knowledge of every other symbiote INCLUDEING VARRIENTS from every other dimension. So there's a dimension where Peter Parker and venom hooked up, and he remembered. it was doctor stranger spell that was pulling everybody into the MCU who knew that Peter parker was spiderman
The stupidity of this is venom became venom because of Spiderman. His powers mimic Spiderman.... a spider hunting spider. It's why i don't really like the movies. Especially venom/carnage. I owned all the venom stand-alone comics from the 90s. The internal struggle of eddie brock and the symbiote, to turn a new leaf and become a hero, is what makes it great. The movies take away his spider like powers, the internal struggle, the violent deranged complexity of carnage and barely gleam the dramatic aspect.... all to make your run of the mill mcu movie. Replace the story with overblown CGI fight scenes. Sucks! At least the first one had some cool qualitys. It doesn't have to be rated R to do it right. The dark knight is the perfect example on how to make the greatest villian with depth and choas, without gore. It's what u don't see that scares us.
Nope. Based on Loki and recent movies, Disney recently wants the MCU to exist as its own unique multiverse distinct from the comic book multiverse. The comics or Sony might have an MCU-equivalent universe they refer to, but it’s not canon to the movies unless Disney explicitly says so.
@@tuvout6844 616 is peter b. parker's universe and not tom holland's. it was confirmed that peter indeed is from 616, but the mcu is actually earth 199999. Mysterio says it's 616, but he actually made it up/foreshadowed, to gain control of EDITH
@@kalvin187douglas That's fine, we all miss things, or don't quite understand things, but that's not a theory; that's just what is stated by the movie. Again, some people might have missed it, and that is understandable, but that's not what I was responding about.
This is fairly in line with the recent Venom "Genetic Codex" storylines. The Venom symbiote is something exceptionally special in that it not only retains the genetic memory of any creature that hosts it, but it also retains the same memories other symbiotes have gained. So, it doesn't need to bond with a dragon if another Klyntar has ever bonded with one. This also breaches actual memory. Eddie is able to tap into the memories of anyone who was bonded to another symbiote. The movie Venom is nerfed as THAT Venom could just eat MCU Thanos & the Infinity Gauntlett & all the stones & it would only be like he drank a Red Bull. They ate a God that eats Gods FFS!
@@SrChalice ...dont know about that, for me movies are pretty good. They made it something like LOTR, if they put everyhing and litteral from comics/books into the movie it would last forever and maybe it woudnt be good.
@@norischuk it would be good, it would be better. theres a reason the comics are well known and well liked and were consistently successful. the writers made something great. to go and try to change something great is only going to make something worse. because the first writer already figured out the best plot.
I think Disney is trying to pull towards the adults. So they merging, because they have ideas for kids and they know they need to keep both in line. So having Deadpool (totally not for kids) Blade, Venom, Wolverine and possibly Punisher and Daredevil. They created a section for adults only. Which is why you need a passcode to view it. Without it, I think you can only watch the Marvel Disney stuff and not the other movies.
@@terique69 weirdly, if you figure that the symbiote is a quantum computer that is 80billion light year area if they were all combined in 1 universe, the hive plans for every eventuality.
Venom didn't neccesarily got that information from Raimi's Venom, propably from some other Venom across the multiverse who knew Peter Parker is Spiderman. Ngl, the symbiotes having hive knowledge from their alternate selves across the multiverse is very cool, it's like how in the multiverse of madness, every different variants dream of their alternate selves.
@@bruno1 I did instead and I am even more convinced it was the lamest way to introduce Venom in the MCU and everybody knows that most likely Spiderman will get his back costume during Secret Wars (exactly as in the comics)! 😀
@@cam8900 simply, don't implement it and, I have already provided an answer for that. If you're not able to read it, I don't knwo what's wrong with you! 🤣
@@cam8900 as I said, they will introduce the black costume in Secret Wars (as in the comics, if you ever had read one in your life). Actually, Russo brothers wanted to use it in Infinity War, but Sony had different plans, that is, those awful Venom movies! 😀
it's really because the very first symbiote, called Knull, is an interdimensional being that kills Celestials, and since he's interdimensional, it means that since he is the "root" of the hivemind, he knows what every other symbiote knows, and vice versa
It's annoying that they used this number in the movies. The comics are universe 616. Then they confused things by having Mysterio guess on a title and called the cinematic universe the same number as an Easter egg. Then another movie said it actually was that universe. Heck of a coincidence for Mysterio to guess that. The movies and comic ate obviously not the same universe so its really annoying.
The MCU and Sony are obviously teaming up and planning something big. Since Venom is technically a anti hero… my thoughts are they are setting up SpiderMan and Venom taking on Morbius/ Vulture/ and Kraven??
@@BLEACH500 ….Venom already defeated and ate Carnage in Venom 2. But between Vulture, Morbius, Kraven, and even now Madam Webb. They’re definitely planning something
This still doesn’t explain how venom knew of other symbiotes from the multiverse unless every universe within the multiverse all exist in one plane and are separated by barriers which if removed would cause an incursion.
While while hive mine with the symbiotes I’d the coolest concept to me. Across all multiverse to think all venoms are connected and share knowledge is crazy to me.
@@thegreenbacon514 they wanted MCU to be different to the comics. Instead of adapting the 616, they went for 19999999. Meaning, they could do a mashup of cartoons, Comics and MCU if they wanted to.
Venom in his movies:showing his funny personalities, huge, strong, able to take down Carnage and Riot, cares about Eddie's friends Venom in spiderman 3: literally screams that's all
In the multiverse Venom is linked to a grater hive mind that connects to others just like the spider sense that lets Peter know about each other when they meet.
Cool! I didn't know that, very interesting. Not a huge fan of Spider-Man but Venom is the bestest badest coolest superhero/anit hero ever! Maybe ghost rider too 😅
