That sucks it kinda reminds me of people not being able to play with friends because they don’t have the map or certain maps legit are broken on their game that would cause then to freeze
I believe you still can if the uncensored version players happen to have switched to restricted mode. Which prevents crawlers. I'm not entirely sure though.

I knew about this German version of Black Ops through a friend, but it took me until today after being with zombies since World at War to notice that the monkey bombs at 1:07 the eyes stare at you directly for a brief second as you are charging them up to throw, looks creepy asf

The International versions (French and Spanish for examples) also don't feature an announcer, even the Monkey Bomb, aside the Firing Sale bonus, but everything else still remain uncensored (models and textures).
Unfortunately no other country other than Germany has such harsh censorship and indexing regulations for media. Even more in the 2000s years when, from political side, there was a big stigma around the connection between shooting games and mass shootings. For World at War the USK (governmental Entertainment Software Control) didnt even bother and didnt greenlight it until the entire Zombie mode was removed. Particularly one school shooting in South of Germany (Winnenden), 2009 was momentous and I remember for most of my school time Cod and egoshooters were a taboo topic among adults and teachers as it would 'promote the imagination of school shooters' or something along those lines. I believe it might have eased minimally within the last 10-15 years, but even now, most rated r films on streaming services are still being heavily censored, same for Dvd and Bluray and the only uncut versions are the ones purchasable online from Austria/other countries

It's good what the modders do a good work, in World At War the first trailer from Verruckt have the original Swastika, but in the game there's is the censured logo, but with the modd without censure can be restored the original swastika.
Know what I found out after getting a PC? That people using a mouse and keyboard use what is called vulnerability moments where they turn their character real fast lol I call that noobish XD I still use a controller to play and I've never done that and I'm still good at zombies
No I have the German version and there is nothing change in the campaign except the mission where you are in Antarctica and you are looking for Steiner, the swastikas have been converted into the German imperial eagle
That was because at the time germany has banned anything related to the ww2 german army we all know and as we can see now most german games that has the swastika can be seen with the permission of the german government
Back then Germany had way stricter laws regarding gore in games. We also didn't have the entirety of zombie mode in waw. Only in bo2 we finally got the uncensored experience
Laws and regulations based on countries some countries have regulations on gore and dismemberment. And Germany specifically has a ban on any Swatztikas being displayed
Because of their past. Swastikas are only allowed in educational purposes. Germany doesn’t like it as it’s also a symbol used by Neo-Nazis same with the Imperial German flag. There’s a whole video on the Kaiserreich German Empire flag. Germany treats the Empire very poorly
@@lunar7991 It's not actually illegal, there are exceptions for artistic and historical purposes. The reason they were removed from games (as I've heard from German friends of mine) is that up until a few years ago the legal status of video games as art wasn't clear so most companies just erred on the side of caution to avoid getting banned or having to get the game changed re-rated if it turns out that the courts decided games didn't count as art.

We've forgotten quite a bit of in terms of historical accuracies lately already because everyone keeps saying what they think and unintentionally warping history on some historical events. Look at numbers. Many say that the Caust never happened or only a few thousand died at most. It's already happening and you're a root problem for the future that should be uprooted.
