"Proper Music" still exists even in today's world ,the trick is finding it. Even when this album was released I never even heard this particular track on the radio. Honestly if my mom didn't buy the whole album (she only bought it for the "white flag" song) I wouldn't have even discovered this amazing track

Always a special song for me. im Half Arab and English. I grew up in the Middle East and have lived back home in the UK for two Decades now but I still have sand in my shoes. (ie Arab tenancy or way of thinking or even just Heritage). Anyways I know what I mean even if nobody else does 😊

Not sure why I had a desire to listen to Dido again after so many years, maybe listening to Faithless but glad I made the choice. What a great artist she was/is and this song is top notch, sure there was a Sister Bliss remix back in the day. Also amazing how many of the comments are in the last hour-day-week. Baloise Session for me is the best Dido concert. Where a mature Dido is shown, where the years make her look more beautiful and serene, her calm voice, with its soft and incomparable snoring and a presence on stage with musicians of an excellence and at another level. I can so relate to this. Close to 40 years ago (come June it will be 40) I had my holiday romance. Nothing as exotic as this video - Cornwall, but even so. We lasted 9 months, and we both went off, married, divorced, and in between we had our moments. Now, we've come full circle, and are back together. The plan is to re-visit where we met later this year, but I still have sand in my shoes from the first time.

Love This song. Lived in Asia for a year and always fantasized of going back and living a life where I can watch the sunset. Living in america in the first world rat race gets me down sometimes. I always think back to Ruby, an austrailian woman I fell in love with in vietnam. She is the sand in my shoes. I wonder if our paths will ever cross again

I know she’s a fairly recent artist… my mom was in love with her music. Mom died about three years ago. I’ll never hear her voice again. Playing some Dido every now and then brings my mom back a little bit. I was in the army for 8 years and saw combat, lost guys there and stateside to suicide… this song hits home.

Vergil suzuka yea fixing my math is one of things in your list to do .. good for you dude .. i hope you can fix your life as smart as you fixing my math calculating .. try to fix some of my spelling too because english is not my first language
