I used to want a 2022 tundra....then an F250 tremor...but I think the AEV RAM is simply a better truck. I drove a Laramie 3500 to Yellowstone last year and fell in love with RAM.

Love the attention to detail and that color is amazing. all you need is a nice looking roof rack and Baja bed rack.

Did you run C-rated Toyos? The 40s aren't available in an E-rated in a 17-inch. Just curious.

Nice truck. I like that bumper but not a fan of the fenders. I like to see a real truck that doesn't have over sized wheels and stretched tires with lights under.

Measure if from Fords point of bias! No thanks ,seen enough 6.7s with spun main bearings,12,000 bills for new fuel systems, and bad turbos to know to stay away from them...I like the 6.2 gas engine . People who buy heavy duty diesel trucks need them to stay together,reliability means more than winning a race with a trailer who does that anyway? Rams Cummins is twice the engine with way more low end torque ..

Question on wheels & tires with the AEV lift. If I read correctly in a previous post you said these were 17x9 kmc xd229's with the 40x13.5 toyo mt's. On the kmc site those look like a -38 offset/3.5 backspacing. AEV seems to state their 17x10 katlas are one of the only ways to go to assure no issues with 40's and those are supposed to be a -15.6 offset/5.86 backspacing. Are there any special mods here to the basic AEV lift and fender set or does the math all just work out in the end? Beautiful truck here. Looking to do something similar with my 2500, just struggling on the wheels as I don't like the katlas (or the fact they are on backorder till forever).

Just wish they made the 2500 and 3500 on the U.S. The 1500 is the only one made in the U.S. How I know you may ask? Well, the Vin. If it starts with a 3 = mexico, 2 = canada, 1 = America! If I ever do order one I'll try and get it done here in the U.S. Otherwise it'll be a F350.

I've been going back and forth between the power wagon and the diesel and I keep coming back to fuel economy..the power wagon barely get double digits ..I think I'm gonna get the diesel and just spend the money on the air lockers and upgraded suspension plus the payload and towing isn't even close with the diesel.

What trim level is this truck? I’d like to build a truck like this but I think a Laramie for off road use wouldn’t make much sense with the leather.

I want to equip a RAM 3500 HD Laramie 4WD 4-Dr Crew Cab Pickup Truck with a 3.0 in. suspension lift & 35.0 in. tyres!!! Do I need to do any cutting or chopping inside the wheel well to fit the 35.0 in. tyres???

I have a 2018 Ram 3500 cummins. My correctly installed aev bumper just caused my intercooler to leak. The factory push pins in figure 46/47 of the installation manual wore 2 holes in my intercooler.......watch out.

I think I'll be paying you guys a visit this summer to get some of this stuff added to my '18 3500. I definitely want the AEV bumper + winch. You mentioned upgrading to the dual alternators. Was that a factory upgrade, or did you add that later? Mine came with a single alternator, and I'd like to add a second one to power accessories and top off the camper batteries. I asked the dealership about adding it on, but they thought they'd have to fab something up to do that, which doesn't sound quite right to me.

I have a 2015 ram 2500 with a 2" level and 37s and the 68rfe. I was looking at the 4.56s or 4.30s but my shop in Houston basically denied to use 4.30s because they are 11.8s and my truck is an 11.5. What would be the best gear for my truck, I tow, I run 80mph (unloaded) , I do stop go traffic, my truck sees it all. Would the 11.8s simply swap with the 11.5?

Just curious if your 2017 Ram 2500 came with the off road package to start. I’m looking to get a Ram 2500 and wondering if the hill descent means anything in regard to the off road capabilities with all the AEV upgrades.

Please help me out fellas. What are the selectable locker options for a ram 2500 with the 11.5 & 9.25 aam? I know you guys run the arbs & those are great, but I just wonder what other options are there? I have looked online & besides the arb I really don't see much. I can pretty easily track down a power wagon locker for the front but in the rear I am struggling, I know that the power wagon used to run the 10.5 but now they run the 11.5, all I've been able to source for the rear of mine is a limited slip. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love all your builds btw & the channel.

I think AEV will put a 4.10 axle ratio conversion, and the Dodge Chasis cabs will go up to a 4.88 axle ratio conversion. Can you put too big of an axle ratio conversion on your truck that it hurts your performance? Or does it just hurt your gas mileage?

Would 4.56 gears in your opinion be too low for only a 33 in tire? I'm moving up to a 35 at some point but never plan to go higher than a 37. I just wonder with diesel and gearing I had a gas power wagon on 35s with 4.56 gears and loved the power it had, but I know diesels are just different beasts altogether. Are those the factory ram 2500 axles?

Love the Rig. Curious to hear what the overall height? It it difficult to determine in the video. My 2016 power Wagon sits very high (6'11" @ clearance lights) with 35" KO2's. I like your larger tires with the AEV dual sport lift.

Thank goodness you don't have ridiculous 20+inch wheels. It seems fewer and fewer trucks now days have more rubber than rim. Also I love the wide stance man, You did an outstanding job on your truck.

we just bought a modded truck (wheels, tires, flares, etc. all the goodies) but the passenger side back up sensor beeps when nothing is there, and has to be wiggled around to make it stop when backing. is that just a short?
