I've only driven the gle diesels from Benz but I have always wondered how these compare to the 3.0 audi diesels like the one in my 2015 audi a6. Stock it was quick but I have a few things that are done and I'm around 490hp at the wheels now. No idea what the torque is but I can tell you that I could put a 100 dollar bill on the dash and do a launch and you wont be able to grab it lol. If only they still made manual diesel audis
Not only does it look like a work of Diesel punk art it runs and sounds like it could run at full tilt for several years without stopping and idle for several hundred years without stopping.
Would it be possible to CNC up a plate for a LR3 or LR4 gearbox ? Also does the tachometer get its signal from the alternator or do you place a separate sensor ?
@@JonnyD3ath already on hard springs so I would only be losing traction control and ABS. I’m sure I could find a workaround for ABS. I would be happy with that.
You can hear how healthy that engine is running it makes me laugh now every diesel has common rail electrical injectors now which Is much less reliable and cost 4 times more than a mechanical injector
