This video will explain the difference between the andis fade masters and the andis improved masters. Clipper Size Chart Fade Masters - 00000 to 000 Improved Masters - 000 to 1 Music By: WiNstrumentals
U couldn't explain this shit any better! I just broke my fade blade so I was debating if I should move to the Master blade, I'm definitely sticking to the fade blade! Thanks bro!👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Great video! Where do you send your clippers to be "serviced" when they start to get loud? I noticed they changed the screws so they can be adjusted with a normal screwdriver.
Really good video explained a lot for a rookie like me that has question.....so let me get this wright fade master is more used to just fade or in other words vanish the line around the head that you do ...and the other masters machine is used for fades and everything else use like lowering the hair from top with guards ?? I hope you understanded me
Yes, you can start with a fade master and finish the cut with the improved master. But you can use the improved for all around cutting. I would look at the fade master as more of a specialty clipper and isnt needed right away for a barber starting out
What a great detailed video keep making videos. What clippers would you recommend between the andis improved masters and the wahl 5 star seniors . Thinking of buying the andis masters and purchasing the fade blade for later once I get better at cutting since i am new to barbering.
Alot of wrong info......fade master closed is from triple zero to five zero and open ONLY to a HALF and not a ONE......and the purple andis guards fit it perfectly.......fade master's cut closer and give you a more defined look the regular masters.....fade masters are just harder to use because of how thin the fade blade is, it can sometimes gets stuck on skin pores if angled incorrectly...its a clipper for skilled barbers
No, fade master CLOSED is a 00000 and OPENS to a 000, Improved Masters start off where fade masters stop and CLOSED are a 000 and they open to a 1. Yes barbers do use fade masters on the scalp for fading but andis created them more for off the scalp cutting and defining, you may have misunderstood the video but I can assure you my information is correct
+ADTheBarber I misunderstood you on some parts but your right on the most part....except that the fade blade closed equals to a 1??? You can tell a big difference from andis master opened to The fade masters opened when you cut hair 😐😑 not the same length Adjusted at 5zero opened is .2mm and at 3zeros it opens to a half .5mm......
can I put the blade of a fade master on an Andis master clipper? also I use a peanut from whal to do skin fades, I use it before using the shaver but my peanut has a hard time cutting certain types of hair, it does great with thin hair, but the thick hair it struggles, my question is, does the fade faster cut really close like the peanut does? thank you in advance
For starting off barbering on yourself i know im for sure getting andis t outliers but what about the clipper i really dont know whats good and reliable
Can you use fade masters with the guards ? Is it recommended ? I heard you are not suppose to use guards with clippers that go from (00000-000) they are considered more like balding clippers ? Correct me if i'm wrong guys! Just trying to learn.
I just started cutting my own hair a week ago , I have the andis fade master , I had the lever all the way open with a 1.5 guard and the cut came out clean in my opinion, so I think you’ll be okay
I got a question bro. So if their both the same clipper. Doesn’t the master in general have more throw on the lever. How could the fade blade only go from a 00000 to 000
the fade blade is very thin, when closed it’s equal to a 00000 blade. when open it’s equal to a 000 blade. the taper blade is thicker and opens from 000 to a 1 blade so they work together very well for thoroughly blended fades
Hi I’m fade master blade I use them for everything why not gave me problems so u say I can’t used guards whit fade master u kill me whit this 😭😭 I need help thank u 🙏
So I bought the magnetic guards for my fade master and I feel like every time I use the guards it like stalls the blade... I had to return 2 andis fade master clippers cuz One was not cutting The 2nd one started to cut but by the 3rd day it started to pull hair and stall out I got a 3rd pair and this time it’s lasting longer but it started to stall and like lose power... I cleaned the blade and added oil and now it seems to be doing fine... Do u think the guards have something to do w/ the clippers messing up ?!??
Sounds like the bottom blade was either adjusted to high and was hitting the guard, a power issue or the blades need to be oiled. I have not had an issue with the guards slowing or stopping the blades but pulling and stalling is a sign of needing to be oiled.
Lil Geezo -DMG yes! The blades are really what type of master each clipper is named by. The actual stainless housing & motor are the same in all the Andis master line. I bought my Improved Masters 20years ago & they came with the Fade master blade on them & after my corner teeth broke I ordered directly from Andis & they sent me the Improved blade but I wasn't sure so I called my great uncle & he broke it down for me. He had been licensed since the 50's. Now I know & prefer the flow of the Improved.
Well i say invest your self in a good oster model 10 or 76er same thing using plast guards make the cut un even when taking it down you can fade with thos too but its all up to the barber
Angel Lehder the 76er has more power than the model ten which makes it louder but now everything is cordless from 5 years ago lol crazy time flys i would say go with the 76er if money is tight if its not get the andis zr2 its pricey but its worth it you wont have to buy another one because the cord on the 76er breaks durability on that is iffy at times
