I’m new to rebounding and have been doing research on the two for the past week. I’m going with the Cellercisor because I like the idea of strong lifetime springs. All the negative comments on here is laughable. I never thought this video was “bashing” the competitor. This is what’s wrong with people these days…everything is so offensive and they just can’t take someones opinion for what it is. I never heard this man say don’t use the bellicon so get over it people 🙄

Great video. I agree that springs have a better bounce than the bungi cord. With the springs on the cellercizer, you are getting a very effective workout.

I just ordered a Cellerciser today, but came VERY close to originally going with the Bellicon because of the hype. The game changer was the portability of the Cellerciser. Since I’m away from home several times a year for two to three days at a time this is absolutely perfect. Also nearly all the reviews speak very glowingly about the Cellerciser with many rating it even over the Bellicon. Can’t wait to get started, great work Dave!!! BTW I ordered the Bi-Fold model.

W😲W! I’ve been reviewing rebounders for days now. I was convinced about the noise issues, and had absolutely decided on the bungee type. So glad I found your video because it absolutely makes sense, or I’m just the most gullible person I’ve ever known? 🤔 Definitely reconsidering my choices thank you. 😉

You won’t be sorry with a cellerciser, trust me. I recently went from a Bellicon to a Cellerciser and it is exactly as he describes. There is much more support for the feet on the mat as it is firmer. I feel much more ‘worked out’ on the cellerciser than the Bellicon doing the same routine. I am very glad I switched to the cellerciser because I love bouncing.

Well darnit! I found this after buying my first rebounder though I did at least go with steel springs. It is very clear that the spring arrangement on the Cellerciser is far superior to the one I bought. If I really enjoy the activity, I have a niece that will love the regift so I can buy a Cellerciser for myself! I was pretty sure that the use of plastic clips with the bungees was a poor design for longevity but you showed how it could also be quite dangerous! Thank you for the very helpful video.

Yes .... shipping is expensive. The Tri-fold is 46 lbs shipped. Shipping internationally can cost anywhere from $100.00 to $300..00 for air. It’s something I wish I had better control over. We try to discount international shipping to subsidize the cost as much as we can. Best in health.

I had a non-cellercise spring rebounder. I live in EU so not a lot of sellers here of cellercise trampoline - and I'd really buy cellercise if it was here. Switched to bellicon and the difference is huge - I love it !. I weigh about 125KG and yes I'm hitting the ground from time to time - especially if I don't spread the legs and will land in the middle - but it is not a problem in my opinion as 90%-95% of speed/force was already accumulated by bungies - so the hit to the ground is as like gentle pat on the back - I even like it - it's like a feedback that I jump high enough and I don't have to jump higher. I also like that Bellicon is more soft than my old spring rebounder. On Bellicon I can jump in semi-squatted position with absolutely no problem - on my old spring rebounder I had to be straight like a stick and almost jump on me heels to rebound nicely - which was not great for my body. But anyone who will read this - please - remember I used a not-so-cheap spring rebounder (ordered the more expensive one because I'm heavy) but it was not Cellercise - I'm not comparing Bellicon to Cellercize ! I just say that Bellicon is also great, smooth like butter, and hitting the ground for a 275 lbs guy is not a problem !

I don't like this competitive product bashing. I have both the competitive product (Bellicon) and the Cellerciser. I like them both. I use them differently and both regularly. If I had to chose between them, I'd take the Bellicon. My 2 cents.

Interesting video. What strength bungees were you using? I weigh 160 and am using the Extra Strong and don't have a bottoming out issue you are showing. Now, of course, I am using the rebounder as it should be used rather than trying to use it as a traditional trampoline that is designed for higher bouncing. The oil you mention for the springs is important for sure. I still think the spings are louder vs bungee initially. Now whether bungees get noisier over time certainly can have its merits. My guess is by that time, they probably need replacing anyway.

An Alcon bungee unit just arrived yesterday and I love it so far. Even did my research to choose that model. I don't jump high anyway nor do I weigh much (120) and love how jumping brings blood sugar down after a meal. Hope it lasts forever (I'm 70.5 :D at least my lifetime. Maybe one day I can afford both to compare over a couple of months work outs. Thank you for your work and contributions. I do have a question...someone said that the softer models work more of the muscles. Is that true?

I bought an Urban Rebounder about five years ago. It was in my attic until about two weeks ago. It doesn’t squeak at all! The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s harder than Id like. I had a little knee aching, but it’s only noticeable when I jump for longer than ten minutes at a time. My feet never pronates though. It’s great to have during Covid isolation.

@suzum5689
@suzum5689 5 лет назад
Dave recommends socks. I like to wear my shoes at certain times. I am heavy and sometimes I just want the extra support that shoes give. The benefit of socks, is that the Cellerciser helps increase your natural balance; I have found this to be true, myself. I go back and forth, really just depending on my mood or how my feet feel. I personally don't think going barefoot would be pleasant, just because I wouldn't want to deal with the mat getting sweaty/dirty/gross. lol Especially, when my husband, one of my sons and three of my daughters use it, too.

I wish I’d known about a little bit of oil before I sold my Cellciser. There is so much to the springs I didn’t know where to put oil and not mess up my floors. I’m back to square 1. Now I have a cheapo $59 rebounder, I wish it was slightly larger so I could dance on it. It’s 36” with a 28” jump space. How is the size on the Cellciser?
@suzum5689
@suzum5689 5 лет назад
I consider the size kinda small, but it's designed that way for a reason. A good reason. It's not designed to be dancing on, so perhaps it wouldn't work for you. Otherwise, I recommend the Cellerciser hands-down, and will never buy another brand.

Just doing research and looking around, but aren't the black bungee cords the softest ones so they would stretch more and let you hit the floor. The green ones are the ultra strong ones so maybe you deliberately chose the softest stretchy ones to make them look bad?
@SnowdropWood
@SnowdropWood 6 лет назад
The colours refer to the clips on the bungees, not the bungees themselves. You can choose each bungee clip strength in any colour bungee cord you want. I can't be absolutely certain but it looks like he has the green clips, which are actually the strongest ones.

Thank you for writing. Yes I did. Bungee cords or rubber bands, warm up and become weaker. In addition they don’t offer the support for exercise purposes that the Cellerciser does, but the Cellerciser is not a typical rebounder either. We have had many many customers who have previously used Bellicon and after a period of time, the pronating caused them knee and hip problems. So enjoy, but be careful. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you sir. You are right! I have a Maximus Pro, which is very similar to yours. Good springs, good mat, good safety and stability like yours. I would NEVER use those bungees!!! Robin Markowitz hi have you ever used the cellerciser? I am looking to buy the Maximus Pro from amazon, but can’t seem to find a comparison video of the cellerciser vs the MXL Maximus Pro.
@RobinMarkowitzcoolmedia
@RobinMarkowitzcoolmedia 4 года назад
@@TriggaTreDay Not personally, but they look nearly identical in the most important aspects. And in tests, the real differences are between the cheap springs type and also the bungee type. Both brands are superior to those, and more importantly, safer. The difference is that I believe the Cellerciser is quieter. Makes less noise if that's an issue where you live. Otherwise, I think you'll get the same performance. They are both properly made. I have jumped very high without ever coming close to bottoming out. I wear a jump height device called the "G-Vert" which measures vertical movement. I get nice and high up there when I want to. But usually, I tie resistance bands around my waist and lean forward safely tied on, and I run without danger of injury. Despite what a lot of people think, rebounding is a very demanding form of cardio, but it won't injure your joints and spine. Running and jogging on firm surfaces will.
@RobinMarkowitzcoolmedia
@RobinMarkowitzcoolmedia 4 года назад
@@TriggaTreDay One more thing, it needs to be the Maximus Pro or the very similar folding one that I have, with the llarge diameter mat. Not the smaller one that's a bit cheaper. That extra diameter really gives you room to do different things. And they all come with resistance bands: very nice accessories. Happy with my early 2016 purchase several years on! Maximus is a very good one. It will *last*!
@TriggaTreDay
@TriggaTreDay 4 года назад
Robin Markowitz thanks a ton for the feed back! I literally just learned about rebounding 4 days ago, because a RU-vidr I follow quickly mentioned that its great for flushing your lymphatic system. Because I work online, I’m sitting most of the day and it’s really starting to eat away at my youth. I don’t really want to invest soooo much money upfront when I haven’t even made it a routine habit yet. $200 isn’t cheap, but it’s a lot more affordable than $600. Thanks again and if you have any more advice for this newbie, I’m all ears!!! (or eyes 👀 in this case, since I have to read it lol).
@RobinMarkowitzcoolmedia
@RobinMarkowitzcoolmedia 4 года назад
You are most welcome! As for anything else, the key is that it protects your joints and spine while running and jumping. Sure, any vigorous aerobics will move around your lymph fluid adequately, but running and jumping on firm surfaces will definitely injure you. Not a question of "if"; it's "when." With a good rebounder, you are protected and still get all the benefits of a good cardio workout. And, unlike cycling, your entire body is moving. It's the best.

You will NOT find anything like this video on BELLICON channel, because they have no need to make their competitors bad in order to sell their products. I WOULD NEVER TRUST A SELLER WHO DOES THIS. Even if his product is good. And he’s providing false information too, to jump high without hitting the ground you just need stronger bungees. You have different colour-coded bungees on bellicon. He seems to have green colour, which is not made for very intensive training.

@ksb6680 Год назад
Did you not watch the whole video? Everything he said on here is true and accurate, he even gives a live demonstration. He is using the bungees that are recommended for his weight as shown on their website. He explains all this. And with this strength of bungees he bottomed out, nothing false about that. You can tell he was very surprised and taken back by that, he didn’t expect it, it was quite scary actually. As far as not trusting him because he defends his product?? He had to do this because he was being bashed and falsely accused by these other bungee companies trying to disparage the cellerciser, because it’s noisy? Haha that is a complete joke, if that is the only thing they can find “wrong” with a cellerciser then that is really laughable as it’s not even an issue. All you have to do is oil it! He explains all this in the video. I’ve had my cellerciser for 20-30 years, I lost track, and it’s still like the day I received it. It squeaked and I didn’t even know it was an issue, then I heard Dave say you need to oil it, so I did and it is completely squeak free now, don’t have to worry about ever replacing the springs as with the bungee cords that wear out and stretch over time which is a joke and a huge expense. So yeah I’ll take my cellerciser any day. And Dave Hall is the most honest, down to earth human being and owner of a company that I have ever seen. You can even talk to him directly and call his personal desk and he will answer your questions. Tell me what other company that does that, there are none.
